Imprisoned Felon Ron Weinland Says That The 6,000 Years of Bondage Women Have Been Under Is Now Lifted Because of His Wife

Ron Weinland obviously has way too much time on his hands as he continues to write the most incredibly stupid articles imaginable.  Perhaps his prison needs to  have him make more license plates in order to keep him busy.

In Ron's latest letter to his rapidly shrinking cult, he expounds on how his church has now crossed over into a spiritual plane while he is in prison.  All of his failed prophecies are now coming true, even his epic failure of 2008 is coming full circle.  It is all happening for the most part because his dingy wife Laura is the greatest Second Witness ever to have walked this earth.  Move over David C Pack, you are a pussy compared to majestic and powerful Laura!

The fulfillment of prophetic events is currently in the process of being brought back full circle to 2008. What did not happen then is now closing in again. This time, it is fully about a far greater fulfillment of the First Trumpet. Although that sound and warning occurred on December 14, 2008, the economic devastation of that blast was only beginning to be made manifest (brought to light) to the world. The destruction of a worldwide economic collapse was “held back” until a “final witness” could be established in God’s Church and in the world’s response to God’s final warnings through His Church.

So who in this entire world heeded that warning the best?  Ron's cult ministers?  David C Pack?  Gerald Flurry, Rod Meredith?  Come on, make a wild guess.......the ONE who heeded that call was the "witness" Laura.

Who listened? Who took warning? Who repented? The answer to that is the witness! Now the world is quickly nearing a second, more profound illumination and realization of the effects of that First Trumpet.

Apparently this past Feast of  Tabernacles was the Best Ever!

Throughout this Feast season, God’s Church had been experiencing this transition on a spiritual plane as most have experienced a unity and closeness that has continued to grow stronger and stronger. It is an experience that is awesome to see and understand. Even though it has not been fully put (fit) together in the minds of everyone, this Feast was never-the-less grasped as deeply meaningful because of the “focus” of the sermons and how God and Christ organized it all. It has been “an important transition” in itself.
Then Ron writes about how his church members understood the messages they heard to be directly from their god.  The people that made these comments don't sound like the brightest bulbs in the store:

God has magnified that He and His Son give the spiritual food that is timely and needed for His Church, as many have observed and commented upon in letters and ministerial reports. I especially like the way one minister stated it when he was describing what God was giving through the new speakers at this year’s Feast: “Everybody was impressed with what the guys were given in the sermons. Naturally, people had sermons that touched them more than others, but everyone knows it was all from God and the guys were just the ‘sound system’ He used.” That is a good perspective for everyone to have – for those who deliver sermons and those who listen.

All of that is just mince meat compared to the mind boggling work that Laura has been doing.  You know, the great work of the Second Witness...the one you hear about and read about in the news...remember her?  Me neither.....

One last area that is a large part of this transition from man’s age to the age of God’s reign which God’s Church is “experiencing” is one that is personally very exciting to me. It has much to do with what God has been leading His Church to “see” and begin living over the past few years. This transition has actually been spearheaded (put into action) and is being lived by my wife, Laura. God has been revealing to us about the lifting of great bondage that has been upon women over the past 6,000 years.

This phase of transition actually began when God revealed that one of the “two witnesses” of this end-time would be a woman – my wife. This indeed has been exciting as it also magnifies the importance of “family” in God’s great plan of Elohim. In Elohim, there is neither male nor female. In the Millennium, women will be esteemed in a far more meaningful, purer, and uplifting manner just as God intends it to be.
Weinerdude is still upset that the internet immediately broke out in fits of laughter when Ron originally said he wife was Witless Witness #2.  #2 is right, but not the "witness" kind.

Once it was revealed that Laura was one of God’s end-time witnesses, mockers of what God is doing had their laughs and their moment of condemnation. Some responded by ridicule saying “how convenient” this was for me having my wife as the other witness. The truth is that it has indeed been convenient and a great blessing from God that we have been able to share such an experience together within God’s great plan that He is working out.
Thanks to Laura women are being freed from bondage.  Woo Hooo!

Laura and I have always shared in what we have been given by God to serve His people. On all trips, she has done far more counseling and giving of guidance and encouragement to people than I have. She has never been “silent,” but gifted by God to “bring out” people (help them to open up about their battles and struggles in life) and then help them by what she has spoken. Now she is being thrust forward even more due to the added load she must carry, and the Church recognizes more fully how God is using her as she speaks to congregations (not in sermons) and to the ministry about what is happening within God’s Church and what God is doing in our lives. She is doing this in all the locations where she is traveling as we are continuing to serve church areas as always with scheduled visits. In two locations this Feast season, she not only addressed the ministry, but both congregations that had gathered together at these sites.

It is a powerful encouragement to the Church, witnessing how God is working so much more through women. Women are in the process of being freed from great bondage in both the world and in the Church. Laura’s workload is becoming more visible, especially as she is continuing in a worldwide visiting program to help lead and teach the ministry as well as guide and encourage brethren in those areas.
The amazing work Weinerdude is doing in prison, and the world circling work of the second witless witness are so inspiring that everyone in the millennium will be talking about these two.

Philadelphia Church of God "Imperial Academy" Creates Own Text Books Cutting Out All References To Evolution

Those fun folk at Philadelphia Church of God's Imperial Academy (the elementary school for the children of the chosen few) are conveniently taking any critical thinking out of their children's grasp.

Imperial has a teacher who is creating her own text books, conveniently taking out all references to evolution and inserting HWA and Flurry material.  That should be a hoot!

“I started out with the basic framework of open-source material, then took out all the evolution in Biology,” she said. She replaced evolution sections with booklets such as Does God Exist? and What Science Can’t Discover About the Human Mind, and created lesson summary and review questions based on her new custom text, which includes videos and hyperlinks.

To be a critical thinker one needs to understand both sides of the issue.  You can't sit there and debunk evolution without having an understanding of it.  The same applies in the opposite direction. To debunk creationism you need an understanding of the scriptures that are being used as weapons. However, to use outdated booklets by the WCG from the 1980's and earlier as PROOF that evolution is not possible shows how incredibly naive Flurryism is.

Armstrongism has always decided what was true and what they felt members needed to know.  anything beyond that and you were not supposed to be delving into it.  Critical thinking is NOT a Church of God tradition.

The article continues with this:

Winn said she was inspired to create her own textbooks because she had to change the state’s recommended curriculum every year to avoid covering worthless material. By getting rid of evolution instruction in Biology, she freed up time for students to spend the entire second semester dissecting earthworms, mollusks, starfish, crayfish, frogs, fish, turtles and fetal pigs.

The article then ends with this:
This school year, Winn said she plans to refine her textbooks to a higher level that God will be more pleased with. She also wants to get her students excited about science. “A lot of times, they view science as something that’s not going to apply to them because so much is thrown out from their curriculum before [IA],” she said. “I want them to see God in science.”

Dave Pack makes Anal-ogies

"Howling Wolves

Recall from Zechariah 11:3 that certain shepherds will “howl” due to all that occurs: “There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.”

First of all a better translation: " Listen to the wail of the shepherds; their rich pastures are destroyed! Listen to the roar of the lions; the lush thicket of the Jordan is ruined!"

CONTEXT: This verse has NOTHING to do with Christian ministers of any sort, much less Dave's view and howling about all the resources "out there" that need to come to him..  Cedars, Pine and Oaks refer to the Kings of Israel and they are the Shepherds and Lions in the context.  The story is about Jews and Judah not ministers thousands of years into the future.  Make all the analogies you want, but the context has nothing to do with howling ministers who didn't wake up in time to follow Dave Pack and now are out of luck.  The exiles from the captivity are returning and finding Jerusalem pretty torn up and it was painful to see for the returnees.

I know this is hard to grasp for some if not most, but those portions of the Book of Zechariah that seem to foreshadow Jesus Gospel story are redacted into the story of Jesus.  The Gospel writers "searched the scriptures" to write the story of Jesus which is why it seems so prophetically accurate.  The 30 pieces of silver story has NOTHING to do with Judas and everything to do with Zechariah. This story is used to tell the story of Judas but takes it all out of context and mixes up throwing money back at the priests with the Potters Field story.  Long story but true.

Dave notes:

"Again, the lions are probably Israeli political, military and religious leaders who are anguished over having been abandoned and betrayed by their fellow Israelite allies. But who are the shepherds that howl?"

Comment:  The shepherds are also the Kings and leaders and also the literal shepherds who lost their fields to war and the literal lions lost their thickets in Jordan.  They are NOT COG pastors  who should know better and should now follow Dave Pack.  Most of the full time past ministry in the splinters do know Dave Pack and this is the main reason they aren't budging.

"We now know more about why certain “shepherds” are howling. Shepherds obviously references ministers—but what kind?  Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, thanks for playing. Obvious to your analogy but not obvious to the context. These are anguished men (in fact, you will see they are wolves) who were recently over part of God’s flockBzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, wrong.  There is nothing recent about Zechariah's lament. God's flock in context are the Jews and Judah.  Because of what they have just witnessed—and lost—they are howling in grief. The reference cannot be to worldly ministers. The apostle Paul described false ministers as “grievous wolves” in Acts 20:29. Since shepherds do not howl, this group of men is simply better thought of as “howling wolves.”

The Man Who Sued God Review

Comment:  Correct.  The comment cannot be a reference to "worldly ministers," neither is it a reference to the "Unworldly COG ministry."  The Apostle Paul was considered a "grievous wolf" by the Jewish Christians of the day and recall they threw him out of Ephesus as one who claimed to be an Apostle, "but was not."  For this, Revelation Jesus congratulated the Jewish Christian and Noahide abiding  Church.

"A fascinating article appeared recently from the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) titled “Howling wolves give clue to top dog.” Beyond fascinating, the article details much more about the nature of wolves, particularly when pack leaders are removed or die  (Removing the Pack leader would be awesome and good for the mental health of those still gyrating in their seats at RCG.). Here are excerpts we will read before making conclusions:
“Wolves howl more when a close companion or high-ranking group member leaves [or is killed].”
This can explain why Dave yells so loud at those who disagree with them.  Maybe it's just me but it also doesn't take a psychiatrist to note that the closer you are to someone the more you grieve when they are sick, missing or dead.

Tow socks
“That’s what scientists found when they analysed how captive wolves reacted when one was taken to the forest for a walk."
 The Lone Wolf
Sometimes Good Sheep just mess with ya!

Captive wolves...great word there. Like Dale Schurter and the next to no one who came to RCG in the last Great Unification Screw Up?
“Known to be social creatures, the work further emphasises the importance of a wolf’s relationships within its pack.
As far as can be told, the relationship of the wolves with "The Pack" seems to be one of submission and compliance.  Cowering and keeping what they really think inside is probably the better course of action in RCG if you wish to keep a car, a home or a paycheck, which are the very things Dave thinks is the ONLY reason ministers won't come over to him.   Those aren't the reasons at all.  Dave being dead wrong, with silly and weird ideas about himself and his place in scripture tend to be what holds them back.

HOLD ME BACK DAWG!! - Funny Pictures at Videobash

“Friederike Range from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Austria, who co-authored the work said the wolves were communicating to each other just how important they were."
Well as the Alpha Wolf in RCG, I can understand that coming from David.  The RCG wolves spend much time communicating to each other just how important they were and are. I mean, come on, "Watcher", "And yes brethren, I am an Apostle", and "HWA was Zerubbabel and I am Joshua the High Priest" isn't exactly bottom of the food chain.
“‘We didn’t know there was some flexibility on how much they howl depending on their relationship. The amount of howling is really defined by the quality of the relationship.’ Dr Range said.
Exactly, that's why those closest to Dave in the past, write the most and expose the darker side of RCG employment and office drama .  They had a sincere and quality relationship with Christ through Dave and it rather blew up in the faces when they saw the real "Behind the Work" shenanigans.
“She told BBC News that the wolves howled differently depending on which one was taken away.”

Well duh...when "mere elders" are taken away, no biggy.  Mere Elders are NOTHING in RCG.  When you lose an Agreer or two the howls get a bit more distinct.  Of course, some Alphas don't give a rats ass about who leaves or why because they can be replaced easily.

"The research explained that if a lesser-ranking wolf is removed, wolves howl differently. Experts have learned to distinguish these unique differences in the way wolves howl. The article quoted Dr. Simon Townsend, “‘Wolves seem to howl more when higher ranking individuals leave because these individuals play quite important roles in the social lives of wolves.’”

This seems true of all creatures including humans and is hardly a trait of just wolves.  My goldfish grieved and bubbled howls when her buddy fish croaked.   Is some "Higher ranking individual" in RCG about to leave?  Just askin'

"Another interesting element of wolves is that they do not howl when the top wolf is away at a distance. They seem to know the wolf is safe and they are okay. If the wolf is gone, they seem to know the wolf is alive. They only howl when the wolf is gone at a great distance or has been killed. In light of Zechariah 11:8, the meaning becomes obvious.  (obvious to Dave not others...)

I assume this means the relatively few RCG ministers who are stuck away from RCG HQ follow all instructions and agree 100% with Alpha Dave and feel safe and ok with that even though Dave is way over in Wadsworth?  When Dave travels, they are ok with that and will keep the sheep too afraid to move in his absence.

"Let’s summarize who these howling shepherds are by eliminating who they are not. (1) They are certainly not the faithful shepherds who would rejoice at deliverance and reunification of God’s people, and that they can now serve more of them. Correct: They are the Kings and leaders of Judah in context, which is not a well known concept in the COGs. (2) They cannot be hirelings who the Bible says flee when wolves are present. Correct:  They are the Kings and leaders of Judah in context, which is not a well known concept in the COGs. (3) They cannot be the three top wolves who will have by this time been “cut off.”  Correct:  They are the Kings and leaders of Judah in context, which is not a well known concept in the COGs.  Dave likes that "top wolf concept.  It's not that he hates wolves so much as he hates not being the Alpha Wolf, IMHO.

"Conclusion: They can only be the remaining wolves among the splinters whom God left out of the reunification of His people.  (Ummm...no) Certainly God would not include WOLVES in His Plan for those with His Spirit to come back together. (Oh for Pete's sake. Wolves are part of the ecosystem) These would not hear His voice, and would be howling over the loss of position, authority and salary."  (They probably howl over the strange and weird ideas coming out of Wadsworth).

Ok Dave...we gotta talk.  No real God is going to blame anyone for NOT FOLLOWING YOU.  If push comes to shove, He can forgive them but I doubt this is the problem.  No one wants to work for a dictator who abides no criticism and sets all the rules, policies , doctrines and agenda without actual input.  Input is great if it agrees with your foregone conclusions.  Input is fatal to those who try to warn you and do that "in the multitude of counsel" thing.  You were so so wrong about this past Summer.  Not just a little wrong.  You messed up big time with your boasts and sure fire conclusions. Christ was going to do much but must have been out of town and didn't tell you.  You can erase and edit all you want but YOU WERE VERY VERY WRONG.  And no real man in ministry or not would ever answer your 35 ridiculous scrotum removing "repentance"  and self evisceration essays  that could apply just as much to you as anyone.  Those who do should be ashamed of themselves and realize we don't think much of their leadership potential concerning all things God.

Being left out of your reunification plans is not something a real man would regret and that loss of position, authority and salary is more the kind of thing you fear losing and always have.

Dave then goes on to tell us there will be no new date but is banking on Passover of 2014 which evidently is not really a date of any kind in Dave's mind.  Boy, that's a weird and strange idea if I ever heard one.

In case you missed it...

"I want to make a statement about...me...now, if I became deceived, I will never tell you what I'm going to tell you now...I am telling you if I go off into strange ideas, misconduct, rebellion, you name it, don't follow me. I want to tell you that now, because if I start doing that I'm gonna try to get you to follow me! I'm gonna come to you and tell you it doesn't apply, it doesn't mean me, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's OK to follow me because ABCD and XY and Z. Do you understand what I'm saying? Listen to me now, when I tell you don't follow me if I go off into weird ideas, or if I get off into other things that are total absolutely unscriptural conduct, because if I do I'm gonna paint it with a different face and try to get you to follow me. Do you understand what I'm saying brethren? Please remember that, because I promise you that if I become deceived, I'll forget it, and I'll want you to forget it...And I hope you'll remember it well enough to quote it right back to me...But I'll tell you what, I'm not going anywhere." (Oh yes you did...)

Anyway, I love Woofs and would dance with them in a minute.  Reputed Pillars so called give Woofs a bad reputation.

Philadelphia Church of God Con's Members To Pay For The PCG's Booking Mistakes During Columbus, Ohio Feast

Exit and Support had this interesting letter up about the sleazy Philadelphia Church of God.:

Feast Site Problems at Columbus, Ohio:

October 15, 2013
Hello ESN, I felt led to write this to you. At the 2013 Feast of Tabernacles in Columbus Ohio it was announced that a lot of hotel rooms reserved by the PCG were unclaimed or unused this year. The PCG has a legal contract with the hotels promising to occupy and rent so many rooms. If that obligation was not met, then PCG HQ would have to pay the difference. They told us that paying this penalty would take away from "doing the Work" and God would be displeased. It was announced before services that HQ ordered Feast attendees to rent out unclaimed rooms with second tithe money so that the PCG would not have to pay that. I suppose people felt shamed into it because people did rent out rooms they did not even need. You know, a lot of PCG members are out of work. No wonder so many could not come this year. Guess they do not put that into thought. --Anonymous

David C Pack Buys A Weed Patch To Expand His Little Work Upon

Checkout the slide show about Dave Pack's Restored Church of God cult compound in Wadsworth Ohio.  The best picture is of God's most important man to ever walk the earth since Jesus, standing in a bunch of weed's cutting a plastic fence.

Will this be the future home of Dale Schurter's mind-boggling agricultural extravaganza that will embarrass Ohio State University's agricultural program?

Check out the slide show here.

True Believers Must Have A Menorah!

James Malm is back again with more stupidity.  Since his personality cult pretends to be Jewish, I guess this should be no shocker.

Leviticus 24
The command to make the menorah and that it should consist of pure olive oil to be burned to light the court of the tabernacles/temple.  The pure olive oil represents the holy spirit, the presence and use of which makes the faithful the light of the world.  Today, by vexing God’s spirit by turning away from zeal to learn and keep  the whole word of God,  the COG Groups are no longer the light of the world through being filled with God’s spirit.

Instead we lean to our own ways quenching the light of God’s spirit b y rejecting any zeal to learn and grow, and to keep the whole word of God.   Our light of zeal for god is flickering and going out, and we know it not; because we are intent on zeal for our leaders and organizations in stead of on zeal for our God.
The COG Pharisee has a menorah now on his masthead for his blog.  He claims he is using it to light the way for the two witless witnesses.  I don't think Mr. and Mrs. Weinerdude Weinland want Malm's help.

The light of the Menorah lampstand was not chosen lightly for the masthead of this blog.  It is written that God’s two servants will save and renew the light of God’s spirit in the seven church’s at the end time, and I am working to prepare the church of God for their appearance.

24:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24:2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
24:3 Without the vail [outside the most holy place; and  in the court of the tabernacle/temple] of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.

Dennis Muses on Caution with those voices.

Awesome Knowledge—and a Great Parallel!

David C Pack says....

"The Hebrew reveals that this is God literally speaking with HIS VOICE! Make no mistake about this. Here is why: Not far down the road, thousands will hear God’s voice, while others will not. God will soon speak audibly to some and not others."

"If you have difficulty believing that Christ will speak from heaven, ask yourself why.   (Because I would not trust my life to the the voices or Dave Pack?)The Bible references God’s voice being used many times, but generally at critical junctures in history. Paul heard Christ’s literal voice on the road to Damascus (Acts 9). Peter heard the same voice of Christ when he saw the vision of the clean and unclean animals on a sheet coming down from heaven (Acts 10). The serious reader will study these accounts—and be POWERFULLY INSPIRED at the paragraphs just presented!"

"Get this point. Christ will use His actual voice to get the attention of His sheep. This is what He says, not what I say. (I still think this is what Dave Pack says...Je..Christ, not so much)But this is no surprise because He says in His Word that He will do this at times. And He has done it periodically. Christ intends to winnow out those who do not belong in His Church. He certainly will not speak to those who do not have His Spirit about coming back to a Temple of which they have never been a part—hence WHY some will not hear His voice and others will. Because people once attended the Worldwide Church of God or today are attending in a splinter is not relevant. Having God’s Spirit is relevant. Prophecy reveals that probably most will hear Christ’s voice and make the right decision. But others will not obey what they hear and Zechariah 11:10-11 explains that God will immediately—“in that day”—remove His Spirit and cut them off from Him  (Prophecy reveals "probably"?   Haggai reveals "probably not about Dave)

The hearing of voices in the head is a very common thing.  Just as many of the "demonic" symptoms in the New Testament coincidentally have all the symptoms of epilepsy or mental illness, so Biblical types telling others what the voices tell them to do are also of such origins.

If you are a lurker here, educate yourself ahead of time so that caution will be available to you should Dave Pack start speaking more about voices in heads.  I can't imagine it would not be first all about the voice in HIS head as Christ would no doubt work FIRST with his chosen leaders.

I have always been fascinated with Julian Jaynes theory of the Breakdown of the Bi Cameral mind which can explain mans tendency towards religion.  A fascinating read for those so inclined and his study of Old Testament prophets and kings is fascinating.  But the bottom line is that voices in the head is a very old unconscious behavior in humans.  Those who became more genuinely conscious as a human being left it behind.   Consciousness arose in humans more deeply when writing became the norm about 3000 years ago. It explains why there is little emotion in most of the Old Testament or reflective thinking.  The "I" was not well developed and the "We" ruled. King Saul was more a conscious character in the OT.  Samuel was more unconscious and prone to voices in the head behaviors and condemnation.   I always liked King Saul and often wondered why what Samuel hollared at him about was so bad.  Saul thought for himself.  Samuel head the voices in his head.  Long story I suppose.

The Origin of COnsciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind

I will resist being "the teacher" and simply say that I would urge care and caution to those who would mix their religious hopes, fears and needs with what we now know can be some serious mental health issues in those so disposed.  Just because it happened in the Bible is no guarantee it was actually a God speaking to anyone. Whole religions have been founded upon a schizophrenic leader and nations lead to war with a King who heard the voices urging  him on.

Do your homework.  Trust no man to tell you what voices mean or what they might expect you to do.  There is NO EXCUSE in this age of information and medical studies in neurology and mind sciences to not update oneself from Bronze Age interpretations of events in the head and reality.

Jesus may have "healed" the child who foamed at the mouth, writhed and twitched on the ground and acted really weird, but I would bet that if you waited twenty minutes, what we know as an epileptic seizure would have passed naturally leaving the child pretty whipped.  Dilantin could prevent that demon from coming back.

Ezekiel heard lots of God's voice in his head.  He also laid on his side for over a year and flipped over for a few more days to make his point about whatever.  He also laid siege to a frying pan and cooked his food in his own poop.  Poop is the one ingredient that the current "Ezekiel Bread" on your store shelves leaves out of the mix.   Today, Ezekiel would be confined to a mental health facility until he could get his act together.

Living Church of God's Shrinking Ranks

The once dynamic work of Roderick C Meredith is no longer.  The great leader he assumed himself to be while in the Worldwide Church of God is not able to draw in new members.  Ever since he apostatized after the WCG paid for his libel suit brought on by Leona McNair, he has lead one failing organization after another.

From the bankruptcy of Global to his now shrinking LCG, Meredith no longer has the drawing power to bring in wayward COG members.  With the growing dissension in the LCG ranks in Charlotte to the backlash against his son potentially taking over after his death, Meredith is losing ground.

Usually when a COG holds a feast site some where in the world it's numbers swell with visitors and COG member's who Feast hop. Not so with LCG any more.

Doug Winnail writes:

Our preliminary figures indicate that about 9,500 individuals attended services or watched the live-streaming from the Feast of Tabernacles this year. This represents about a 1% increase in attendance in the USA, while attendance was down a bit in some international areas. Dr. Meredith has indicated he would like to start planning for a General Ministerial Conference to be held here in Charlotte on May 5-7, 2014.

You can bet Meredith is going to hold a conference!  Those ministers need to be whipped into shape.  The less members the less money being sent in.  Instead of getting rid of some of the dead weight in Charlotte and some of his worthless ministers, he will resort to an endless trail of letters shouting at members that the time is short and they need money for the final push.

We have the spectacle of minor players like a Bob Thiel who obsesses on getting a "doubt portion of God's Spirit" when he asked to merely be anointed in the tradition of James 5:14 and ends up yet another Prophet, in his mind.  With all due respect to Dr. Thiel, he is not a teacher, not a speaker and certainly not inspiring.  He's a Bible reader with a self given title and it's silly.  While harmless for the most part and unlike The Three Shepherds, Bob gives yet more reasons to scoff at religion.

Then we have the ever entertaining James Malm and E.W.King who I'd not know if I smashed into them.  Are they sincere?  Do they really believe their own shtick?   I have no idea.  I do know that letting them filter and guide my life through their views, opinions and minds would be a sign of insanity.  I'd say "Just who do you think you are?"  but I'd get too long a foolish and stupid answer.  These are two truly Bronze Age theorists who need someone to send them a New Testament for Christmas or Passover.

Does Ron Weinland really believe, as he sits in prison, he is Mr. Revelation 11?  Really?   Jesus said something about traveling and preaching with simple clothing and needs.  Ron traveled with diamonds and gold all paid for by the faithful tithes of the brain dead in my view.  Ron was and is not an inspiring teacher.  His sermons were always the same and very predictable in content.  He always gave me the impression he was winging it with little or no aforethought or preparation.  I guess Apostles and Witnesses can do that.

Big Tree: Il pazzo sulla collina

Is Dave Pack sincere?  Does he really believe he is the real Joshua the High Priest?  In his latest prophetic debacle he went from his truth on Haggai as absolute truth about him and his church to a great parallel. Absolute truth and something being literally true is not the same as a great parallel.  It's what you have to do when you screw up.  The last six months of Dave's screeds and amazing truths are simply rubbish.  He is not spoken of anywhere but in his head.   He has spent the last month as chief chef at the Waffle House as he tries to edit , explain, redact and seem humbly wrong, which is ok because he knows it was a simple, complex, easy to understand coded message to him and his brain dead seat gyrators.  Dave has made it clear that there are no apologies needed or coming.   A few years ago he declared the "final push" and sent out his Clarion Call to sell, give and do other very stupid and ill advised things to fund the end time work.  Pulling Big Triggers has translated into nice lawns, miles of mahogany trim and Steuben Crystal.   Where have I heard this story before?  I'm thinking it will end the same way.

So we have The Three Shepherds in the Churches of God who have and we hope continue to supply endless insanity and excellent reasons for the brethren to go get a life and vote with their feet.  For those by now who still can be both stuck and gyrate in their seats at the same time, I offer no hope and they can prove a previous point I made about there being a butt for every seat.

Do they really believe their own stories?  What kind of blindness is it that infects their followers?
Why do we care?  Anyone with even half a brain can see the foolishness of paying heed to these men theologically.  They simply do not know what they are talking about.  I have NO PROBLEM sitting down with Dave Pack and publicly discussing theology with him.  However, Dave has proved, at least to me, that his power lies in staying behind closed doors in his ivory tower amongst his own.  He weak theologically but strong in hubris and Bible reading.  Out in the sunshine in the clear light of public scrutiny, he would not stand a chance. None of The Three Shepherds in the Fractured Church of God would survive three minutes with a first year theology student.

I always heard that the Beatle's "Fool on the Hill" was about the Armstrongs.  I don't know that either but it sure fit.

Are The Three Shepherds just old lyrics?

I guess if the song fits...sing it!

"The Fool On The Hill"
Day after day, alone on the hill
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
As he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

Well on the way, head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices talking percetly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

He never listen to them
He knows that they're the fools
They don't like him
The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around
