Wacky World of Dave Pack

Dave Pack:  God Has Selected Someone From Someplace To Explain God's Message....and Guess Who That Is......

Davey Pack is vainly trying to assert his supremacy as God's personal mouthpiece.  Davey thinks he is the ONLY person on the entire earth that understands God.  Because Davey understands God he is now God's personal interpreter.  By being God's mouthpiece he allows no room for questions or dissension.  God said it, Dave interpreted it, so let it be said, so let it be done.

Most are aware of Amos 3:7 and God’s promise there: “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He reveals His secret unto His servants the prophets.” (This means one or more prophets must record every future action that God intends to carry out.) But few ever think through that someone has to teach the MEANING of what the prophets recorded. Otherwise, the secret remains a secret. False prophets and false teachers never get these secrets right because God is not using them. He works through the servant that He IS using, and the explanation is both correct and makes sense against ALL related verses. The bigger the prophecy—and this one is GIANT—the greater the importance for God to “reveal His secret.” Recall that Haggai himself is called “the Lord’s messenger” who brings “the Lord’s message” to His people. Haggai contains BIG secrets. Thus, at God’s selected time, someone—think about this—SOMEONE, from somewhere—has to explain this “Lord’s message” to God’s people or Haggai cannot be a messenger—to anyone. It is that simple. This is MY role.

Dave Pack:  I am Not A Prophet!  These Are God's Words. If It Doesn't Happen It is God's Fault Not Mine

Dave makes another claim that he is  not a prophet.  These are not his words but God's.  He claims he has not interpreted anything privately into these scriptures on Haggai.  But, since he is God's most highly Favored and Chosen,  God is working through HIM!  All of his sermons are not of his own private interpretation or things he has dreamed up.  It is God's words that flow through him.  It is God using and speaking through me to reveal His interpretations.

Before continuing we must also grasp something repeated from before. I am neither a prophet nor have I any self-prescribed authority to bring any prophecies. What will be shown is entirely GOD’S prophecy—from HIS WORD—explained and conveyed through the only office He ever uses to bring biblical truth to His Church (Acts 2:42; Eph. 2:20). The Bible warns that “no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” (II Pet. 1:20). But God does work through His chosen servants. In fact, He never reveals His Plan through anyone else. The many sermons I have given, including much of what you have read and will read, bring God’s interpretation of symbols and terms that He uses, not my private opinions. The reader will find that Zechariah 11 is in code. But nothing within it is complicated. Each verse has a clear explanation if we just allow the Bible—meaning GOD!—to interpret the meaning through other scriptures. The “code” it is written in becomes easily unlocked.

Dave Pack:  Astounding New Development - - We Bought More Land....Building A Field of Dreams.

Dave Pack, God's most important human to ever exist since Jesus and leader of the most superfantabulous Church of God EVER is pleased to announce that he has bought more land so he can enlarge his magnificent property in preparation for the coming reunification.  After lusting for this land for 5 years, he has finally snagged it.

It will not be put to used by UCG's epic failure and reeducated Dale Schurter, who is trying to reinvent the the old Bib Sandy property with a farm, dairy cows and chickens.  This incessant imitation of the days gone by is is making these people look rather foolish.  They can never recapture those days.  It is the 21st century - - move on!  Design and re-imagine something new!

Davey is also building a "field of dreams" on his new land.  Dennis's last article was rather prophetic in that it pictured the thousands of returning members all streaming to Wadsworth like they did in The Field of Dreams.

Davey also apparently things this land will supply him with lumber, food and water during the tribulation.  He is also excited about a vein of natural gas being located on it.  There is enough gas coming from Davey to fuel the entire City of Wadsworth for the next 50 years!
"Before beginning this next-to-last announcement, those watching the progress of God’s Church will be pleased to read of the next BIG DEVELOPMENT in His Work. We have finally been able to purchase 59 acres of adjacent woods and farmland to expand our campus—now upper and lower sections—to 88 acres, making it now three-quarters of a mile long. We are absolutely thrilled about this development. We have wanted this land for almost five years and nine months. And over this time we have come to really NEED it for a variety of reasons. Here are some: (1) A powerful agricultural program, featuring a small farm with crops, livestock and poultry in the spirit of the Big Sandy agricultural program approved by Mr. Armstrong and directed by Mr. Dale Schurter to speak to the world about God’s form of agriculture. (2) Room for an expanded summer camp that would by next year be on our own property—much easier than driving almost to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (3) A pavilion and ballfield for the Church, a camp and college activities. (4) Additional much needed parking space for activities right next door at a future Auditorium. (5) A few faculty residences. (6) A source for natural gas, lumber, food and water. (7) A place for possibly one college/camp community center/building.
"There may be some other small adjoining properties that someday could be added, but it is this central addition that will allow the projected pattern of buildings, grounds and gardens to capture the elegance of the former Ambassador College campus in Pasadena, California, but also the more rural Big Sandy, Texas environment. It also brings in elements that will reflect the environment at Bricket Wood in England. The whole campus will be (and is already coming to be) woven in trees, gardens of every design, as well as one or more small lakes, a stream with three waterfalls (now complete) and other water features, all interwoven with uplit walkways and sitting areas.

Dave Pack:  Why Does He Deliberately lie On His Web Sites?

Dave Pack, the leader of the worlds most superfantabulous COG ever to exist in 6,000 years, the reincarnated Joshua/Elijah/Jesus, God's most trust banker of all money in existence, and failed health food store owner, has established a "new" ministry.

In his on going quest to think of something original, which apparently did not happen, he has created The Ambassador Center which has the delectable initials of 'AC."  How original Davey!  Your god must be really pleased! I stand at owe of your originality!  I can't wait to join you on August 31 so I can see what other "new" things you are coming up with!

He writes:

Ambassador Center (AC) is the specialized training academy of The Restored Church of God, which publishes The Real Truth. Founder and Chancellor David C. Pack, who is also President and Pastor General of The Restored Church of God and The Real Truth’s Editor-in-Chief, worked with faculty and staff to develop a rigorous two-year educational program with one overarching purpose: the development of the whole person.
There is nothing about Davey's new "AC" that has any ties to 60 years earlier in Pasadena.  Herbert Armstrong would have kicked Davey out on his ass years ago considering Davey's self-righteous pompous attitude.  There is no connection with the Ambassador College from the past whatsoever. It is only a figment of Davey's delusional imagination.
The tradition for this institution began more than 60 years earlier in Pasadena, California, with Ambassador College. Founded by Herbert W. Armstrong and supported by the Worldwide Church of God, the college eventually branched into three separate campuses in Pasadena, California; Bricket Wood, England; and Big Sandy, Texas.
It really must be humiliating for Davey to know that Gerald Flurry bought the Bricket Wood property. Imagine how Davey could have been using this property in September to reeducated all the new ministers he will be receiving.  What a startling missed opportunity!

"I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds
of those that think differently.
I share my thoughts to show the people who think as I do
they are not alone..."
Someone
Dennis Diehl - EzineArticles Expert AuthorThe "Apostle"  Joshua C. Pack fascinates me as you have probably figured out by now.  This whole Haggai episode is both fascinating and puzzling to me. Partly because I have known him since he was 20 and partly because he is summation of all that is wrong with ministry and what happens when one becomes what I have come to call being "God Haunted."  Dave is a sorry reminder, to me at least, of decisions in life I wish I had not made and gut feeing's I wish I had listened to along the way, but were afraid to .
I don't see Dave Pack taking the kind of chance that so far has been implied in the braggart like quality of "Soon to be Reunited."  Dave is not the kind of thinker that finds some obscure scriptures , makes them to be speaking of him, set a date for some dramatic thing to happen and walk away unscathed if it doesn't.  Dave does not risk making a fool out of himself in his own mind at least and everything has a perfect explanation as to why it had to be so..  There is too much to lose if wrong,  as hundreds have been before, in setting dates.  Dave is not a date setter in the traditional sense in that when September 1st comes along, everyone will be laughing and he loses it all wondering why God did not mean what he perceived him to be saying to him in Haggai. .  There is more to this, in my view, than yet meets the eye.
Dave has always, in my experience, been the kind of thinker who is both clever and devious.  Clever does not last as long as genuine intelligence but it is more dangerous.   He does not take the same kind of chances that say a Ron Weinland did with setting date after date and making fool out of himself as have thousands before him.  Dave is a competitor and not winning is  never  an option. I don't believe for a minute this date of August 31, 2013 is an all or nothing and desperate attempt at doing the impossible and the implausible.  Something else, to me, seems to be afoot or at least the final episode will not be what you may be lead to believe.  Dave doesn't do all or nothing in the same way Ron Weinland did and failed.  .
I, as others, have seen this in Dave's sportsmanship.  From stopping games he was losing to changing the rules so he could win points, Dave simply has to win at all he does.  We have the notorious story of Dave allowing an excellent teen basketball player stay on the team in spite of his long hair as long as needed to win.  Once the season was over and the victories gained, Dave, from all accounts, sent the kid packing if he didn't get his hair cut.  Dave is a rule bender if it serves him and yet is never acknowledged as such.  This also accounts for his puzzlement over what "filthy rags" he must be wearing as "Joshua the High Priest", because, like Rod Meredith, major sins (or minor probably) are simply not factors in his life as he sees himself.  Thus, he concludes the filthy rags must be the sins of the COG splinters that he must carry and the fact that he did not realize this soon enough.  Weird thinking to the average human but not to the God haunted. .  The fault for everything in his life lies with others and Satan has been trying to stop Dave before his immaculate conception no doubt. This is typical and unchanging David Pack.
So what's going on here.  I can't picture the "I will win" or "one who undercuts others" Dave taking a Ron Weinland type risk.  I also don't picture many transferring their membership in the splinters over to the Restored Church literally.  I picture few if any ministers now willing to expose themselves to Dave's scrutiny with the 35 ways back to his good graces.  But I do picture a shift in Dave's mind on August 31st as to who really is the true Apostle over ALL the splinters and ministers, whether they know it or not.  Once that is established as a fact in his mind, he can work on members coming to him as well as ministers who make that leap down the road.
In the past, and i say this based on my own experience in NY pastoring and what others have told me over the years, Dave has had a tendency to redraw church boundary lines to his advantage.  Ministers in neighboring churches would only learn that some of their members were being told to come to Dave's Church when the member got a letter or at least told that they now were in Dave's area.  This was news to the pastor.  Dave tended to add to his church by subtracting from the church areas of others.  He also tends to multiply by causing division.  In some way, this Haggai/Joshua/August 31st thing is some form of that, if only in Dave's mind.  I just don't think he would risk a Weinland or even thinks that way. Dave does not put all the eggs in one make or break basket.  He calculates which is why I have always kidded about it always being about the numbers when denied.  Dave is simply redrawing lines again and making Haggai mean what it never meant to see just how this can work in his mind.  It's highly possible all the splinters , members and ministers will end up, in Dave's mind, in Restored as predicted.  It will not be literally true, but it will be mentally true.  It will be yet another boundary adjustment, just on a grander scale.
I will try to be discrete with this, but this same undercutting habit was used by Dave against someone who confided in me that Dave tried to take his customers and undermine his business.  Actually, it near destroyed the business. Sensitive topic but the person to whom this happened confided this to me and is credible.   It is just more of the same.  In business, Dave had to win no matter who it was he was undercutting and trying to ruin. Stealing customer or stealing church members = all the same thing. There are many former employees of RCG who will agree that Dave has great tendencies to undercut others, cause division between partners and "win."   If he wants something, the ends justify the means it seems.
So, we'll see.  I could be totally off base with this sense of just what is going on. Maybe I should not even say this publicly, but as Dave is so very public with what will happen in his mind, I can be equally as public with what my intuition and gut feelings are telling me is possible.  I have challenged him THREE TIMES to debate me, but I am sure he is unsure he would "win" and so can dismiss me neither stooping to do so or daring to lose.  There is no losing so if you think you might, you don't play.
Unlike Dave, I don't have to right all the time or win anything. But this setting of a date seemingly to get a specific thing to be or  to be risking everything,  (radio, TV, building ambitions, college, awesomeness)  is not typical of Dave Pack's thinking.  In his mind, whatever he means by "return" fits the fairytale he has told about Haggai and his being Joshua the High Priest in fulfillment.  If he literally thinks that, then I would say all bets are off and we are not seeing typical behavior and thinking as seen in the past, but a deterioration of thinking and a risk taking that is not typical at all.  Somehow, none of this date setting and bravado and distortion of Haggai pointing to himself is not as risky as it seems in his mind or in how it will be finally defined when this specific time comes and goes. And it will...
It is either a very calculated and clever move , to him, to undermine others and define it as "All will be reunited again on August 31st 2013, or it will be yet another Weinland miscalculation and foolish theology  putting Dave in the same category, or worse, than those who have been equally stupid about dates before him.   Dave has at least had years of experience in seeing the folly of others so why would he want to duplicate it?  Dave does not miscalculate in such a way in my opinion.   I choose the former, but it has not fully expressed itself which is why these announcements become more and more dramatic as the time draws near.  When all is finally revealed it may just be "are you kidding me!"   We'll see.
So....what am I saying.  Yes, I know I tend to repeat myself because I need to know you got it!  lol.     All the churches of God being reunited again under the one banner of the Restored Church of God and the leadership of David C Pack, does not happen as one has been lead to believe.  I suppose we picture all the cars backed up for miles in the closing scene from Field of Dreams as minister and member flow to Wadsworth on that day.  Nope....  In some way Dave, in his mind and with the permission of Ol' Minor Prophet Haggai, will redraw the Church of God boundaries to take in the unsuspecting and even unapproving.  Somehow he will undercut  and undermine others to his advantage. In effect, he will steal the sheep.  It may not be what we all have in mind in any literal sense.  It will make perfect sense to the Apostle Dave.
On the other hand, if Dave really thinks Haggai predicts his coming after HWA (which sounds insane to me personally) as on the surface it sounds, this would indicate, to me, that a major deterioration in his thinking has occurred. His Church is doomed in one month and his building projects will screech to a grinding halt for lack of funds both now and forever.  People are not THAT stupid to follow  mentally, emotionally, spiritually and certainly not financially yet another fool. He can forget about radio and TV because he will just be another footnote of prophecy misapplied and televangelists making fools of themselves.  Dave is not the type to trust Christ/God/Angels or Satan to do or not do what he already know is in the works in his mind and humanly doable...conscience or not. .  When Ron Weinland told everyone "Christ is doing ...." this or that or "God will..." this or that, he didn't know how but trusted that it would be so.  He really stuck his neck out.  When Dave says similar things, I believe he has done more of his homework and taking less of a chance, in his mind, than it might appear to everyone else.  This is just my view of the difference between the two men.
I may be totally wrong with stinky instincts that stink, but I have no problem with being wrong.  I have a problem with having sat for years on my instincts and gut feelings only to see what I thought would be the outcome of such stupidity actually becoming the outcome I envisioned, including for me personally.  So I guess I do this to make up for lost intuitions.  I also have a problem with seeing people taken advantage of but that is the defender of the underdog in me and it is hard wired.
If Dave is really this theologically stupid and it is all literally as perceived, then the end is near for his church.  One man shows collapse quickly in such cases.  But it is possible that what he calls "Reunited Again"  is not what we would call it.  Stay tuned I suppose.  It won't be long now.....Maybe I'm just bored.  :)

Davey Pack: Do NOT Miss My Next Two Articles!!!!!!!!!!!! Unexpected Miraculous Things To Soon Happen

Davey promises that he only has two articles left till the great reunification.  He wants you to pay close attention to these next articles.  They will be filled with "shocking" scenarios of "climatic" events to soon happen.

Finally, do NOT miss the final two Friday announcements! I will cover many other scriptures related to the Haggai prophecy that I have only broadly referenced up to now (most not at all). They clarify some central parts of the prophecy that have not yet even been touched upon. They include serious—and shocking!—climactic events within God’s plan to successfully reinstate thousands to His Church. God must GET THE ATTENTION of people who are largely now not paying attention—brethren who think they have no reason to pay attention. Surely by now, if you have been reading regularly, you realize that things miraculous are scheduled to occur. But what they are remain completely unexpected. There is SOBERING news inside the GOOD news of God’s awesome purpose for His people in the immediate days ahead.

Davey Pack Says His "christ" Is Going To Help Him In Unimaginable Ways

Imagine a "christ" that has been so weak and impotent over the centuries that it now has to come in a greater role than it ever had before.  It's like the dude forgot all about those people that were following him and now has to make up for lost time.  Of course Herbert had to lay the groundwork for this"christ" to come back to work in.

Third, many ministers and staff today in the splinters who make the right decision in the days and weeks to come will immediately be of enormous importance to the detailed FULL REORGANIZATION process that will follow in the wake of reunion until the whole “army of God” is marching together doing the Work in unity and rhythm. Yet again, we can anticipate Christ helping in uncounted ways during this process. In fact, a series of verses in the latter part of Zechariah 6 describe His coming greater role in His Church to complete what Mr. Armstrong called “the greatest Work” ever.

Davey Pack Warns About "Tares" and "Flatterers" That Will Seek To Join Up And Spy On Him

Davey wants you to know that his HQ staff is working overtime on the reunification.  He also wants you to know that "tares" and "flatterers" will attempt to join up with the reunification just to see what is happening.  He warns the enlightened ones to be on guard for these people.

Second, 96 current staff members (soon to be 102) at our Headquarters, working alongside our worldwide ministry, are readying in every way possible that human beings can to prepare for the remnant to join us. Christ’s continuous help is also powerfully evident in this regard. Realize that we will have our part to do in learning about those who come with us to try to eliminate as many “tares” (Matt. 13:24-30) and “flatterers” (Dan. 11:32-34) as possible. Think of these as people who never belonged in the Worldwide Church of God, do not belong today even in the splinters, and certainly do not belong in God’s Church going forward. While some will choose not to come—generally the “beautiful people” who see loss of position looming—certain others (possibly many) will “follow the crowd” due to the normal human “bandwagon effect.” (Some of these will get in, so say the verses above.)

Davey Pack on Jesus' Behind the Scenes Vetting Process for COG Ministrers and HQ Employee's

Davey wants you to know that the created creature he calls "christ" has been working overtime in getting the mess all together into one unified body.

His "christ" is already doing the first round of vetting the ministers that will jump ship.  this is even before they have to answer to Davey and is 35 questions.   This "christ" is also vetting the office personnel in all the splinter group HQ's as to whether they will make good employee's.

First, Christ has told us within the prophecy that He is working out a host of details in advance of reunification—things that human beings cannot possibly do no matter how much or how hard they would try. There are many things that Christ knows that we simply do not know, at least yet. These include the advance “vetting” of faithful ministers, splinter office personnel and brethren. Without Christ’s help this could not happen, and we know that we could not begin to do it properly with so many, never mind at high speed.

Davey Pack On The Most Important Aspect of the Reunification

Now we get to Davey's most important reason for this reunification....money!

Davey is moving into the 21st century and open plate offerings are soooooooooooooooooo passe.  Davey will be using electronic transfers for all tithes and offerings.  That way he has immediate access to your money.  No more long delays for checks to clear or credit card companies transfer payment.  It's Davey's money and he want sit NOW!

Finally, all must know where to send tithes and offerings. This must be understood from “day one.” Exact details will be worked out when the time comes, but here are some overall points. For those living in the United States or Canada, an online banking bill pay option is available. Upon reunification, brethren may also contact our Headquarters for wire transfer information. For international brethren, The Restored Church of God has some regional offices around the world. These offices can be used as a hub to receive tithes and offerings—Canada, S. Africa, Nigeria and the United States. At least four other countries are in the process of seeing corporate entities come into existence. Again, additional details regarding electronic wire details and banking information for our regional offices will be made available.

Many of our donors, co-workers and members use various online options (for instance, PayPal), which can be made available in the future to others. It is also common for members to deposit funds directly into the Church’s bank accounts.

Davey Pack on the Reunified Feast of Tabernacles 2013

This years Feast will be one of the most inspiring and superfantabulous in human history!  As with everything in Packland, it is over the top and glorious

Davey has set up 21 Feast sites right now and will be adding more as the the Feast approaches.  With the tens of thousands flocking to his convention sites around the world will be overwhelmed!

On August 7 Davey will announce his preliminary Feast sites.  All COG brethren who have already made plans to attend another site with their own group need to be prepared to change locations.

In nine weeks baby!  Nine weeks!

Next, the 2013 Feast of Tabernacles: This will also be among the most special and inspiring times in Church history. It will be a Feast of unity and harmony among all of God’s people. Everyone will keep this joyous occasion as members of The Restored Church of God in scores of sites across the world. At this time, we have 21 sites, but we anticipate adding many more. In some areas, former splinter brethren will attend our current sites. In other locations, we will have to quickly add new ones. In still other areas, splinter sites will simply become Restored sites. The total number of Feast sites, and where they are, will depend entirely on how many brethren answer the “stirring” of Jesus Christ to return to His Church, and in what areas they live. Details may begin (and only begin) to come into view on the first of the month of Elul (in God’s calendar—August 7 in the Roman Calendar). A more complete picture will emerge by Elul 24 (August 30). Right now, all are urged to have in their thinking that they will be reassigned to a new nearby Feast site, and those who choose to return to the Body of Christ will attend with what becomes a much bigger organization—probably significantly bigger than the largest splinter! Be ready for the most inspiring Feast you have ever attended—now less than nine weeks away!

Davey Pack: Here Is What Will Happen Sabbath August 31, 2013

Davey is getting specific on what will happen on August 31, 2013.  The more details he gives the dumber he is going to look in August.

In six weeks all the Church of God's will be meeting in the same locations around the world.  There will be no more divisions and separate COG services in the 700 some splinter groups.  All will be reunited in domestic bliss and communion.

Davey is expecting entire congregations to "rollover" into his church prior to that day.  The elect will have had time over the several weeks until the day before to make their minds up.  Then come August 31 the heavenly choirs will sing, Jesus will shine again as the morning Star, rabbits and baby deer will leap with joy, bluebirds and butterfly's will rejoice and the lion will dwell with the lamb. Oh happy day!

In six short weeks, the “Church of God landscape” will forever change. Saturday, August 31 will be a Sabbath unlike any other in history. It will be the first time in decades that all of God’s people around the world will be meeting together in the same locations for services. Words cannot describe the excitement and happiness that will be everywhere soon after this reunification. In many areas, much of or possibly even entire congregations might “roll over” into The Restored Church of God. Brethren will have had weeks to prepare for this and to “consider their ways” before God. Those who come will have been led to return to the Body of Christ the day before this Sabbath. Reread this last sentence.
God has been busily planning this event for 3,000 years.  God inspired Davey's mother to get pregnant so she could deliver The Chosen One II who will restore and reunify the work of God that He somehow was not powerful enough to keep going.

Davey will have phone operators standing by to take the phone calls of churches that want to defect.  Mail will increase at such a dramatic rate over the next few weeks that the Wadsworth Postal System will be inundated with hundreds of thousands of pieces of mail from Church members inquiring where they can attend church.

Realize that a host of logistical details must be worked out for this to occur. God has been planning this event for thousands of years—at least 3,000—and His Church has been preparing for it for almost a year. Headquarters and our ministers will be ready to receive potentially a great many phone calls from splinter ministers and members even in the days and weeks before August 31. Mail will also explode, but we are ready for it. We must do our part to ensure as orderly a process as possible for receiving God’s people on that Sabbath.
COG members should be ready for another Church split, angry members and hostility from those not enlightened enough to jump ship.

Of course, human beings are free moral agents. Obviously, some brethren and ministers will choose not to return—with this number being few, many or anywhere in between. In some areas there will be splits in the congregation, with some ready to obey God and others not. Emotions will potentially run high, possibly on both sides. We will work out how and where those determined to return will meet with Restored Church of God congregations and brethren. No one will be overlooked throughout this process. The Great Shepherd—Jesus Christ—will make sure of this!
 Fun times are ahead!!

Dave Pack: The Church Will Soon Come Together In A Manner Not Seen in 2,000 Years

On the road to Wadsworth

Davey is still predicting that the entire Church of God will soon be coming to his "church" to do a might work that last 23 days then culminate in one big "single" day.

Davey says there are huge implications for the tens of thousands of COG members who will be flocking to his group.  What will happen on August 31st?  More importantly, what about the money?  What about all of the money a few days later on Trumpets?  Where does that money go?  What will happen at the Feast this year?

Davey says not to worry, he and his team of 16 are planning this all out as it will be the most complex "coming together" in 2,000 years. Not since the Exodus as a Church of God leader ever done such a huger under taking.

Previous announcements explained that the group in Haggai described as “this people” by God, who now reside in separate church “houses,” suddenly come to understand the reason behind their decades of failed efforts. “ALL” of God’s people are foretold (twice—Hag. 1:14; 2:4) to return from their houses to work again in God’s House. A full reunification is foretold! We saw that Haggai describes a process that lasts 23 days, but culminates in a single day. God states that everyone “CAME and did work IN the House of the Lord.” This of course means they were SOMEWHERE ELSE—they were OUTSIDE God’s House—and returned to it to be put back to work INSIDE (“in”) it. Also, having been occupied elsewhere, they had NOT been doing GOD’s Work.

There are certain immediate implications to Haggai 1:14-15: “The Lord stirred up…the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of hosts, their God, in the four and twentieth day of the sixth month…” These “nuts and bolts” include practical realities that will come to be on your mind—first and immediately: (1) What happens on the Sabbath of August 31, (2) how do people pay tithes and offerings, as well as a Holy Day offering just days later on Trumpets (September 5) and (3) with Opening Night just 13 days later (September 18), what happens at the Feast of Tabernacles. While there are almost endless other details being planned in the background here at Headquarters for the most complex “coming together” that the Church has undergone in 2,000 years, the most pressing concerns become these three simply because of when they occur in order of sequence. (Previous announcements have spoken to some of the other elements of the coming back together of God’s people so suddenly and in such large numbers.)

Dave Pack Is Back Mockinginig The Other COG's

Davey is back today with another magnificent missive about how important, magnificent and amazing his Church of  "god" is.  Is just so superfantabulous that he can't get over it!

Today they are finishing a week long "ministerial" conference where one of the major discussions was the imminent reunification of all the Churches of God under Davey's thumb.

First, last Sabbath we began our 10th annual Ministerial Conference from July 12-20—the first one on our new Headquarters Campus. It was completed this afternoon, with most attendees scheduled to return home on Sunday. By every account, it was a spectacular experience, and was made more inspiring in that it was held in our absolutely beautiful new assembly hall in our new Hall of Administration building. Field ministers and Headquarters managers had the opportunity to hear six days of lectures on a range of topics, with the imminent return of all God’s people an overarching theme woven into many presentations.
After bragging about his new building, which actually looks upside down, he mocks the other COG's for their epic failures in doing a work as might as his.

Davey still is ticked that no one in the various COG's seems to care about Davey's church.  If only they knew!  He says they are all "blissfully ignorant" but will soon be so overjoyed after their church leaders die that they will flock to him.

Davey is adamant that ministers and members will soon be flocking to his cult.  If ministers do then they have made it plain to the entire church that they are willing to sell their soul to Dave and the devil after they complete that 35 question questionnaire.

We cannot help but think of the large splinters that are so far—far!—FAR!—behind God’s Church in so many of these regards (and many others). Many would care about this if they knew, but they just do not know that they are. “Blissful” ignorance will soon give way to jubilant exhilaration at what lies ahead for ministers who have been sitting for years in almost desperately boring conferences that primarily served only to waste time. If you think this an overstatement, WAIT AND SEE! We are left to contemplate how many more ministers and elders will soon be meeting with us, probably in an extensive Conference scheduled for soon after the Feast.

Davey Pack: Humans Are Just Squatters and Renters In God's Homes, Everything Belongs to God (and Me)

One should never pay tithes to God’s representatives and then try to supervise or otherwise watch over the way the ministry or Church headquarters spends them. The ministry answers to God because it is God who employs them, not the people who paid the tithes.

I was checking out the Preterism blog today and they had a short entry on Davey Pack.

It says this:

Today, Pack is claiming the beast of Revelation is “just ahead.” Armstrong made the same claim in 1934 suggesting the beast might be Mussolini, Stalin or Roosevelt. In 1956, he predicted the Great Tribulation would arrive by 1975. Of course, all this came to nothing. So, why Pack wants to be associated with such an abysmal failure is baffling. It’s doubtful he spends any time telling his duped followers about Armstrong’s failed predictions. (Revealing the truth would undoubtedly affect his income stream.)

Here is what Davey says about money:

What You Earn Is Not Your Own

He then blabbers on about banks and loan companies that actually "own" your home.  That the government requires taxes.  But what then is left after taxes? Who owns that?

Davey says that God owns all that you ahve.

Notice. God says, “For all the earth is Mine” (Ex. 19:5) and “Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord’s your God, the earth also, with all that therein is” (Deut. 10:14) and also “whatsoever is under the whole heaven is Mine” (Job 41:11). King David wrote, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein” (Psa. 24:1). I Corinthians 10:26 repeats his words.

God also says, “For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills...If I were hungry, I would not tell you: for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof” (Psa. 50:10, 12). Finally, the prophet Haggai wrote, “The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord” (Hag. 2:8).

All money is God’s (remember, the value of money is generally attached in some way to gold and silver). He owns absolutely everything there is to own. Human beings are “squatters” on His land and “renters” in His homes. Everything you think you own is actually owned by God. You are merely its temporary custodian.

That is Davey's slick way of preparing his acolytes that all their money belongs to God and that they need to send it all in.

People manufacture products from natural resources, which come from the earth, but it is God who makes both the natural resources and the earth in which they are found. Men may own mining or timber rights, but it is ultimately God who owns the mine and created the timber, which grew because of elements in the soil—which He created and owns!
Any time Davey's god tells him to demand money from his members, they MUST send it ALL in.  After all, it is not theirs!  It is God's and Davey is God's custodian.

Any time He wishes, God could take back all that is His. After all, it is His! This includes your income. While you may have “earned it,” God owns it.

What things belong to God? Remember, we are to “Render...to God the things that are God’s.” Render means give. Since the heavens and the earth (or the land on which we live) cannot be “rendered” back to God by human beings, what does this mean?

We saw our entire income (salary, wages, interest earned, investments, bonuses, commissions and any other financial increase) actually belongs to God.

Davey then gos on to pretend that his members are required to tithe by his god:

God lays prior claim to the first 10 percent of everything people earn as income. This is called the tithe, meaning “the tenth.” To be a tithepayer means the same as being a “tenthpayer.” Tithe is an old English word commonly used to mean tenth. People have long understood that to tithe is to pay a tenth of one’s income.

There are small and large points within God’s Law. Some commands carry more “weight” than others. When speaking of some lesser points within God’s Law, Christ said, “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 5:19).
Davey then shoots himself in the foot by talking about a "pagan" so-called Christian who tithed and prospered.  Davey's members should be asking themselves: If God blessed that guy who tithes to a non COG, then why can't I give to another COG or non-COG church and be blessed?  Why does Davey get it all?

I have known men who sought to make God their partner. In my hometown of Lima, Ohio, a well-known, successful businessman put a sign on his factory saying, “God is my Partner.” He certainly did prosper.

John D. Rockefeller, the famous patriarch of the Rockefeller family, tithed. Other well-known tithepayers have prospered because they followed this principle.

No one can make God his partner. We cannot “let God in” on a “business deal” with us. But God can choose to make individual tithepayers His partners!
Davey then goes on to tell his acolytes that they "have no voice" in how he sues the money they "give" him.

Tithing works in this way. Each time you tithe, you have paid the latest in a long string of ongoing regular “bills” sent to you from God. Actually, His bill is always to be the first one paid! God is not willing to stand in line behind other creditors who represent mere human organizations to whom the tithepayer may also have existing or on-going obligations. Remember, God gives 90 percent of your income. What other organization would do this?

Another important principle to note: Tithes paid to God work differently from money put in a bank. If you place your money in a bank, you expect that bank to keep careful track of the funds you have deposited and to give you a periodic accounting. The bank remains responsible to you for keeping proper track of your funds. The reason is simple. Though the bank may be holding your money, it is still your money! The same with stocks or other investments. Brokers account to the investor.

Tithing is different! Since tithes belong to God, once they are paid, God (or His representative) is not obligated to explain exactly how, or in what fashion, they were spent. One should never pay tithes to God’s representatives and then try to supervise or otherwise watch over the way the ministry or Church headquarters spends them. The ministry answers to God because it is God who employs them, not the people who paid the tithes. God owns His “company,” and He has the authority to hire (or fire) His employees—His ministers. Tithepayers have no voice in how they are spent.

Davey says all money belongs to him since he is the ONLY faithful COG leader out there.:

It is only to the faithful ministry of the true Church—the only Church Christ built—that tithes should be paid. Those laboring full-time in the Work of God are hired and paid directly by God! Since tithes cannot be sent to heaven, He designates they go to His earthly representatives.
Davey then warns his followers, "I have now done my part.  If you do not tithe you will be gut off by God!"  As usual it is scare tactic time.  Make people fear for their salvation if they do not tithe.  Tithing is a salvation issue with Davey,, something that it never was through human history.

I have now done my part. I have taught you the truth about tithing. You have been given essential knowledge that you must act on, in order to be given more. Christ said, “Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not where he goes. While you have light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light” (John 12:35-36). Further, notice this warning to all: “Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, IF you continue in His goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off” (Rom. 11:22).
He then concludes with this asinine comment:

Tithing is a law. Like any other law, there is an automatic cause and effect relationship. Why do you keep the law of gravity? Because if you break it, you know there will be an immediate, visible and sometimes painful effect. Jumping from a 10-story building brings real consequences.

The tithing law is no different. If we break it, it breaks us. But if we keep it, it keeps us. But there is one fundamental difference between tithing, which is a spiritual law, and physical laws. Breaking spiritual laws rarely brings immediate effects on the offender. There is a delayed penalty—but a penalty, nonetheless.

Dave Pack is lying about HWA. What else is he lying about?

The Living Armstrongism blog has caught Davey Pack telling another lie.

Notice what Dave Pack wrote in the first two questions in his questionnaire for ministers in other COGs wishing to join RCG that he unveiled in his twenty-second and latest "Special Announcement".

1) Retirement—Mr. Armstrong taught that retirement is not an option for a true minister.
Did you retire? If so, when, and why did you think yourself an exception?
(2) Non-Career—Mr. Armstrong taught that “going non-career” is not an option for a true minister.
Did you do this? If so, why did you think yourself an exception?
Dave Pack is lying.
Dave Pack is lying about HWA.

What else is he lying about?
Check the above link for a direct quote from HWA in one of his letters.

Jesus H. Pack

Davey Pack has been going on and on over the last several months about how he is taking on the mantle of Joshua.  In every single article he writes you can tell he is pointing the finger right to himself as being Joshua.  However, he has not had the balls to really come out and say, "I am Joshua."

We know for certain that Davey is NOT picturing in his mind that Joshua would be someone else in his church, say....Dale Schurter.  If it is someone else in Davey's cult then it invalidates Davey as the true leader.

Could something far more sinister be in the works with Davey?  Is he about to proclaim himself something beyond Joshua?

You all remember  what Joshua is a derivative of don't you?

The English name Joshua is a rendering of the Hebrew language "Yehoshua", meaning "Yahweh is salvation".[6][7] The vocalization of the second name component may be read as Hoshea - the name used in the Torah before Moses added the divine name (Numbers 13:16).[8]

"Jesus" is the English of the Greek transliteration of "Yehoshua" via Latin. In the Septuagint, all instances of the word "Yehoshua" are rendered as "Ἰησοῦς" (Iēsoūs), the closest Greek pronunciation of the Aramaic "Yeshua" (Hebrew word #3443 in Strong's, Nehemiah 8:17).[9][10] Thus in Greek Joshua is called "Jesus son of Naue" (τοῦ Ναυή) to differentiate him from Jesus Christ. This is also true in the Slavic languages following the Eastern Orthodox tradition (e.g. "Иисус Навин" (Iisús Navín) in Russian).

Since Davey says salvation cannot be found outside his group and that he has the power to grant  salvation if you join his new superfantabulous church,  is he ready to declare himself something greater?  Is Davey going to become Jesus before long?  Only Jesus has the capability to reunite the church.  Does Jesus live in Wadsworth?

Davey Pack's Emasculation Camp For Incoming Ministers

Above is the first photo from Davey Pack's reeducation camp of a man who decided to join up with Davey.  This is what happened when he lowered his standards and took Davey's 35 point test to determine if he was qualified to kneel at Davey's feet.

No man in his right mind would submit himself to Davey's 35 point questionnaire.  No wife of a real man would ever let her husband do it either.

 Byker Bob wrote:

This is self- defeating. He's just limited his pool of ministers to zero. I'm sure he will provide a path around the obvious for any high profile ministers from the past who could bring additional status to his organization.

We would hope this would be self defeating, but there will be some weak men who will lower their standards and let themselves be humiliated.  That is what Armstrongism has taught them to do.  They have no voice now and certainly will not when they jump over to Davey's side.

Dennis  aptly wrote:

Dave has created a TERRIBLE Dilemma for any suck up fake minister that wants in. Now we know the process. He could have at least kept it to himself and in house but this will prove to be his biggest blunder of all. Well except from thinking he is spoken of in the Bible or Haggai had him in mind in the 500's BCE.

Dave wants the glory days back. This means that anyone that wants back also wants those days of pay, cars, respect not earned (there were many very sincere and respectable men and wives in WCG in my experience. You just never heard of them and they have since disappeard in disgust and lessons learned) and such.

I love "Are you willing to be an Associate Pastor?"

Dave was made an associate pastor under Steve Botha in NYC because of Dave's antics and offenses to people in Buffalo. Finally WCG had had enough of DCP. Ask Steve how well Dave was willing to be an Associate Pastor. Read Dave's won autobiography where he moans and bitches about his unfair reduction in RANK to an associate Pastor.
DAVE NEVER DID WHAT HE DEMANDS NOW OF OTHERS. I think his sub conscious mind wants revenge.

Steve told me when I asked how Dave was doing. He said, "Oh..fine...and he'll go back to his old ways when he gets free of this."

Prophecy comes alive.

I would like the names and phone numbers of any man who submits to this little exam. I'd like to meet a man who could share all their inner thoughts that no doubt they would be making up to appease the High Priest to get a job.

This really does limit Dave's ministerial options because now we all know what any man, falsely so called would have had to do to get back into David C Christ's good graces.

What a mockery of reality.

Davey Pack: Peace, Peace! When There Was No Peace

Davey wants the ministers to know that once they have completed the year long reeducation camp that they will be part of an amazing group that will be as big and as peaceful as the old WCG.

Davey truly is delusional if he thinks the WCG was a church where "peace" existed.  That was the period of time that the church was the most corrupt!  Who wants to go back to that pig slop?

You may soon find yourself pastoring larger or much larger numbers of brethren after reunification. God’s Church will again enjoy more and larger congregations around the world. This means greater service and greater reward—for you and those you serve. Do not jeopardize this!

God’s people can again experience the peace that existed during the Worldwide Church of God while it was on track. Realize a wonderful place—an awesome future opportunity—awaits you. We all look forward to thousands of people returning to God’s Church. Brethren will again “dwell together in unity” (Psa. 133:1), walking together in the “bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3). The I Corinthians 1:10 picture of complete unity will again be the case for ALL God’s people. These verses will be fulfilled a second time in this age, and your role will be crucial. You will again be helpers of people’s true joy, working together with brothers in the ministry you have not seen for years. Leaders have kept ministers divided as much as they have the brethren.
Davey said three weeks ago that he only had two weeks of messages left.  This will make over 5 weeks worth of new messages.  I cant wait to mock him for 5 more weeks!  Idiot!
Be sure to read the remaining three Friday announcements. Next week will be short, with the final two longer—and some of the most fascinating knowledge you will ever learn. This will be an extraordinary August—like none other in Church history…

Davey Pack: God Sent His Servant But You Are Too Stupid To See Its Me!

Words fail me.....
Your leaders once claimed to be searching for God’s servant. One was sent. Yet humanly I am no more special than any of you. God’s pattern of government starts with one leader. You once believed this. You also once professed to know an apostle when you saw one—meaning by the fruits. Just like you did not ask to become a minister of Jesus Christ, I did not ask for my responsibilities. Who would? But God’s flock is before us, along with the greatest Work the world has ever seen.

Davey Pack: Even Gerald Flurry Knows About This, But Is Too Stupid To Really Understand It

Davey is adamant that his August 30 prophecy WILL happen.  I can't wait till September 1, rolls around and Davey is proven to be a liar.
Some or many ministers may be torn over these announcements, wondering if I could be right. Haggai is a book in your Bible! His prophecy WILL soon come to pass. No other explanation of it fits—and none but Gerald Flurry is even offering an explanation. (When has that man gotten ANYTHING about prophecy right?) The only thing you could question is whether the timing of this year is correct. Last Friday’s announcement made this plain, revealing many reasons (there are almost 40 more) that the prophecy is “on” for 2013.

Davey Pack: I Am Not A KOOK!

Davey does not want anyone to think he is a KOOK because of the kooky things he has written for the last several months.  No Sir!  Davey is NOT a kook!  A jackass maybe, but not a kook!
Always remember that you are not educated enough nor are qualified to understand the mantle I am taking on. Just submit and things will be OK.
Be careful you do not write me off as another “prophecy kook.” I am not a prophet and have never claimed to be. The fruits of my office show it to be different. With the passing of years, most ministers have grown confused about even some of the very biggest points of prophecy. Almost all have grown even worse with the details. Be careful you do not quickly dismiss a complex prophecy, one you are no longer equipped to readily grasp. Just think about how you probably could not even remember that Mr. Armstrong was the Zerubbabel of Haggai and Zechariah 4—never mind WHAT THIS MEANT.
Would someone get Davey some Coco Puffs.....

Davey Pack: Only I Have The Ability To Give You Eternal Life, Your Splinter Group Leaders Cannot

Davey wants the membership to know that only HE has the right to give salvation to those in his group.  Salvation cannot be found outside Packism.  Members risk their calling, as dot he ministers, if they ignore Davey.

If you want your ministry to continue, think carefully about the men you currently support. To pooh-pooh this announcement is to risk your calling. Think it through. The leaders of your organization cannot give you eternal life. They will soon be unable to even continue your employment as a pastor or associate pastor. I will reference in the final two announcements how God will deal with certain leaders. As we leave Haggai for other books and passages, the prophecy is about to grow MUCH more serious.

Davey Pack: All Splinter Ministers Are REQUIRED To Answer These 35 Questions And Are NOT To Discuss These Answers With ANYONE Except ME!!!!!!!!!!

Get out your pen and paper guys, you have some work to do before you jump ship to Joshua Packland.  Those of you ordained in the old WCG are guilty of dereliction of duty and will be held accountable!

Important Questionnaire

A crucial series of questions present themselves before every shepherd of any rank. As you read, think hard—very, very hard!—about your original calling to serve in one or more offices under the sure guidance and direction of Christ as Head of His Church. Ask yourself each difficult question today’s circumstances require you to answer. Do not permit yourself to look away from hard realities now confronting all of God’s people.

In every age of His Church, Christ’s sheep have needed shepherds. Those with special leadership training and experience from the past will be held accountable in a greater way than all others (Jms. 3:1-2). Dereliction of duty by those “to whom much was given” will mean that “much will be required” of them some day (Luke 12:48). Take a deep breath and think of yourself standing before the “judgment seat” of Christ (II Cor. 5:10). You will be forced to give answers to HIM then if you are unwilling to demand them of YOURSELF now.

The millions constituting the physical remnant of modern Israel returning from captivity are foretold to come “weeping and loathing themselves” for having rejected God’s Way (Jer. 50:4-5; Ezek. 6:8-9). What about the spiritual remnant, who once knew that Way, but largely left it? Will/does this describe you? Read the above verses, and then read the following questions slowly, carefully and prayerfully. They are the biggest way that the ministry should “consider their ways.” Consider writing out the answers:

Did some of you lazy ass ministers retire?  God is going to hold you accountable for that!  Bad boy!  Bad, bad, bad boy!

(1) Retirement—Mr. Armstrong taught that retirement is not an option for a true minister.

  • Did you retire? If so, when, and why did you think yourself an exception?
Did you leave the career ministry and get another job?  Your ass is grass too!

(2) Non-Career—Mr. Armstrong taught that “going non-career” is not an option for a true minister.

  • Did you do this? If so, why did you think yourself an exception?
Did you ever dare to question doctrine or the right of HWA to set doctrine?  If you did you ass is grass again!

(3) Established Doctrine and Tradition

  • In what doctrines or traditions do you believe Mr. Armstrong “got it wrong”? (Include all areas—be specific.)
Were you a liberal pussy boy in the 80's and 90's?
 (4) Did you actively resist false doctrine in your ministry?—or give safe sermons where you disagreed? (Be specific.)

  • During the liberal years of the 1970s?
  • In the WCG in the late 1980s and early 90s?
  • In your splinter or splinters?
Did you agree with some of the changes Tkach Sr. brought about?  If you did your ass is grass again!

(5) On each doctrine where you came to agree with God’s enemies—either Joe Tkach, those who assisted his destruction or your splinter leader—why did you agree?
Why would you even assume that I want you back in the church under me?  You pathetic worthless scum!

(6) Why should you still be considered for the ministry in God’s Church?

  • Why should God’s flock ever again be entrusted to your care?
  • Are you prepared to re-win brethren’s trust, including brethren now here whom you will likely also pastor? What about re-winning the trust of Headquarters?

Have you been diligently searching for the one true church that is building buildings and using cable TV?  These are important indications on who has the worlds most superfanabulous COG EVER!

(7) Did you actively pursue where God’s Truth, Church, Work, College and Government were found?

  • If not, why not? Be specific.
  • If so, how hard? Be specific.
Have you ever read any of MY propaganda on how I formed this church and studied at HWA's feet?

(8) Have you read or viewed any of our Splinter Explanation Packet material?

  • What items? Ÿ Did you at any time hear my “30 Reasons” sermons of 1993 and 1994? (Parts 1, 2 or 3?)
Do you believe that I, Dave, am THE man who now heads up the worlds most superfantaulous COG EVER???????
 (9) Do you now believe again that Christ works solely through one unified organization?
Are you submissive to church government? Are you too stupid to not see that my church is the only church that has it??????

(10) In light of government(s) you followed, how do you see God’s government today?
Are you still worshiping at the altar of Herbert Armstrong? In order for me to be Joshua, Herb had to be Zerub, get that through your thick heads!

(11) Have you returned to believing that Mr. Armstrong was the final “Elijah”?—and Zerubbabel?
Have you forgotten that only the Dear Leader can make decisions in the church?  No council of elders, no board of directors, NO ONE but MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

(12) Have you returned to believing that truth only enters the Church through apostles as Mr. Armstrong said so often?

(13) Do you believe I Corinthians 12:18 applies to you with no qualifications added?

(14) Do you believe there can be exceptions to I Corinthians 1:10 and 13—regarding members or ministers in the Church?
Are you willing to let me humiliate you into submission?

(15) Are you willing to temporarily or permanently become an associate pastor?
Are you willing to let me publicly humiliate you in front of the church until you kneel at my feet begging forgiveness?

(16) Are you willing to be excluded from the ministry until you requalify?
Are you ready to acknowledge that I have the capacity to add new doctrine to the church and to not be questioned about it?

(17) Are you familiar with the new teachings that God has added to His Church on top of what Mr. Armstrong taught?

  • Which ones?—and do you agree?
Are you willing to go top my reeducation camp where you will be trained to discard anything you think you know and learn MY way?

(18) If your ordination(s) is(are) invalid, are you interested in being re-trained for Christ’s true ministry?
Are you stupid enough to believe that you have a voice in ANYTHING or that I even care what you think?

(19) Do you believe ministers should be able to voice opinions to others about:

  • Where Headquarters is “wrong”?
  • What Mr. Armstrong taught/said/did “wrong”?
  • What Mr. Pack teaches/says/does “wrong”?
  • Where your boss is “wrong” or harsh, etc.?
  • Where you disagree doctrinally?
Are you a weak effeminate pussy-boy who has betrayed his calling?

(20) Do you consider yourself as having been (rate yourself from 5 being best to 0 being worst):

  • Weak
  • Cowardly
  • Slothful
  • Covetous
  • Confused
  • Compromising
  • Foolish
  • Political (And did you ever “run for office” in a splinter?)
  • Heretical
  • Deceitful
  • Easily deceived
  • Betrayed your calling
Why are you so stupid?

(21) Why did you lose the ability to “discern good from evil” (Heb. 5:13-14)?—and for so long?
You really are stupid if you think I am going to give you back your ranking once you join my church.

(22) What do you consider to be your ministerial rank?
Ÿ Evangelist Ÿ Pastor Ÿ Preaching Elder Ÿ Local Elder Ÿ Local Church Elder Ÿ “Elder” Ÿ Ministerial Assistant
Are you prepared to spend the rest of your life begging forgiveness for the messes you have created?  Since I am Mr. Perfect and have no sin in my life, I will be here to guide you down that path.

(23) Are you prepared to dedicate the rest of your life to serving God’s flock and fixing completely the horrific mess you helped cause in so many lives?
Are you intelligent enough to recognize that I AM an apostle of God?  If Herb could be one, I want to be one too!

(24) In light of how you once saw Mr. Armstrong, do you still recognize the fruits of a true apostle when you see one?

  • If you say yes, why did you follow Joe Tkach until he destroyed everything?

(25) Describe your spiritual condition today. (Also, rate your temperature from 0-10, with 10 the highest.)

(26) What 5 biggest lessons did you learn from and since the apostasy? (In order of importance.)
Did you fast before you answered all of these vitally  important questions?

(27) How many times did you fast for 24 hours (or more) before answering these questions?
How many times did you pray to me for one hour or more?

(28) How many times have you prayed over Psalm 51 on your knees?
Since you are all weak impotent little men who could not take a stand on doctrine, how are you going to prove to me that you will accept ALL of my teachings without question?

(29) Having now long abandoned many doctrines you said you would never leave, how would you convince Headquarters that this time you “mean it” if you intend to now “hold fast” (Rev. 3:11)?

(30) What have been your pastoral actions during the troubles of recent weeks and months?
Are you prepared to be reeducated for one year or more, just like Dale Schurter was?

(31) Are you prepared to spend a full year (or more) catching up with all you must unlearn, relearn, and learn new?
Do you feel any responsibility for being a minister of a splinter group that has been cut off from my god?  It is all YOUR fault that the members were disfellowshipped.

(32) What personal responsibility do you feel for the deplorable condition into which God’s people have sunk?
How are you going to prove to ME that you are spirit led?

(33) How would you prove that you are still Spirit-led?—or were ever Spirit-led?

(34) What date did you leave the WCG, and why did you remain beyond May 1995, if this is the case?

(35) What did you do after reading the article “God’s People Back Together—SOON!”?
All of you weak impotent little men who pretend to ministers in the splinter groups you need to be aware that you will be REQUIRED to fill out a similar questionnaire in September when you try to join up with me.  Your wives are required to answer these questions too, as long as it pertains to submissive women's rules.

FINALLY:  You are NOT to discuss this or share it in anyway with ANYONE (expect with me, of course)

In due course, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that looks very similar to this list.
*No answers that are blank, “I’m not sure” or short responses will then be permitted.
*All wives should answer the questions, including every point applicable. (Some are obviously to be skipped.)
*Aware of recent history, and the lies and deceit of so many men and leaders, DO NOT LIE TO YOURSELF!
*You are encouraged not to discuss or in any way share your answers with anyone other than God and your spouse.

Davey Pack Says You Will Loose Your Eternal Life If You Refuse To Join Up With Him

The sheer arrogance of Davey just gets weirder and weirder as his article goes along.  Davey now has the authority to make you loose your salvation if you do not join up with him.

Related to this, realize that God cannot stir His Spirit in ministers and members who do not have it. Sadly, this describes many in the splinters. And it means a tremendous battle of wills may soon develop. You must be ready to help defeat the devil’s attempt to continue the status quo. Confusion and division will temporarily reign. God’s people will be unsure of what to do. Satan will attempt to deceive them about what is happening. Recognize that God’s Church—HIS Headquarters—will back you up during this difficult time. Reread John 10:11-15 to understand what is about to fall upon YOU.

Tragically, some will make the wrong decision and lose eternal life. Consider carefully your actions. Your record is being written. Judgment is now on the house of God (I Pet. 4:17). You know human beings. You know they will broadcast what happened in your pastorate. (Future announcements will explain EXACTLY what God says will happen to everyone who does not come—one of three things, none good.)

Oh goody!  I can hardly wait to see what fate Davey Pack has poured on my head for refusing to join his dumb-ass cult.  One of three things?!  Is this a multiple choice punishment?

Davey Pack: COG Ministers Have One Last Chance To Repent And Join My True Church

Davey lays it on the line for ministers in the various COG's.  Don't assume when you leader dies that you are going to waltz over to the Restored Church of God and start giving sermons.  You will be sent to RCG's reeducation camp like Dale Schurter was subjected to.  You have to repent on bended knee with trembling lips, just like Raymond Buffy McNair had to do at Rod Meredith's feet.  You will need to kiss Davey's feet and wipe his ass for many months before you are even allowed to assume any position.

God forbid if you were ordained AFTER the the COG breakup in the 1990's, you are lower that the snake that crawls on it's belly!

For those ministers that refuse to receive correction Davey's god has a special warning for you.  You are nothing more than bastards because you are illegitimate in his god's sight (Hebrews 12:7-8)

Consider this, and how it relates to your ministry today: If a minister left God’s Church in the 1960s, 70s or 80s, could he later return and immediately re-enter the ministry? Of course not! There would be a transition back into service, and only then if he had not permanently disqualified himself. Also, if someone were ordained outside God’s Church his ordination would not be accepted in the Worldwide Church of God. Why would these things be different today? Now add another factor: the man was gone from the Church for decades. If brethren must be reinstated into the Church, so must ministers into the true ministry. (Again, a series of questions later in this announcement will explain this process in more detail.)

Christ is about to bring all those with His Spirit out of the other groups. He has a plan to gather His scattered flock. But what has not yet been covered is the crucial role that YOU can play in this gathering. Before full reunification of God’s people occurs, you will have one last opportunity to repent from a degenerate spiritual condition in order to assist Christ. It will take a jolt to awaken everyone to their condition—literally worse than wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked because this describes people inside God’s Church, and they have not yet even returned. Read Hebrews 12:7-8 and remind yourself of how God describes those who will not receive correction. Soon you will either help with Christ’s regathering process, or you will hinder His work. There will be only gatherers or scatterers. (Read Christ’s words in Matthew 12:30.) When the opportunity to do the right thing presents itself, do not blow it!

Davey Pack: Every Single COG Member Outside the RCG Have Been Disfellowhipped By God

Davey wants to make it clear to every COG members out there, that since you left the WCG to form your own group that his god has disfellowshipped you.  Only the frozen chosen in RCG are in fellowship with God.

Never fear, Davey's god MAY be ready to take you back into the fold.  It all depends on whether you are in a good attitude or not and are willing to be reeducated.

We saw God’s people will soon be reinstated into His Church after having been disfellowshipped for about 20 years. Recall what Mr. Armstrong taught YOU about the status of the disfellowshipped. None of the WCG ministry ever believed that a disfellowshipped person was still a member of the Body of Christ. We all understood and taught that such individuals did have God’s Spirit but were outside His Church. If the person did not eventually return to God’s Church, to be reconnected to the True Vine, he would gradually lose the Spirit of God. God has mercifully reserved thousands until many or most of these would “consider their ways” and be able to be reinstated by the “Great Shepherd and Bishop of their souls” (I Pet. 2:25; Heb. 13:20). God MAY be ready to reinstate YOU—even though you now almost certainly do not believe such reinstatement is necessary. This is about to change.

Davey Pack: As I Take On My Role As Joshua, Jesus Is Going To Come Down And Take Over The Church So I Can Do My Work

As Davey prepares to be Joshua he warns the ministry that he will soon stop writing these love letters to the ministers and members.  When he officially takes on the mantle of being Joshua he will no longer have the time to be writing letters to the dumb sheep.  Never fear though, as he assumes Joshua's mantle, Jesus will come and take over the Restored Church of God and lead it into glory.
...these announcements will soon end and with them my role for now. The living Jesus Christ is about to personally “shepherd” His flock. As ministers, this should be on your mind. Scattered into divided, competing organizations, Christ’s people collectively have not been listening to Him. This will soon change. Through His Spirit, He is about to start powerfully working with you, as well as laymembers, no matter their group or whether they stayed home after the apostasy.

Davey Pack Says Those In The COG Ministry Under 40 Years of Age Are Ignorant

Davey is trying sooooooo hard to live in the past. To him, the Worldwide Church of God prior to 1986 was the most fabulous era of Christianity.  Over 1,800 men were ministers in the Church.  Now due to deaths and apostasy the COG is a do-nothing church with do-nothing ministers.  Only the Restored Church of God and its ministers who are doing any work worthwhile.

He whines that those 40 and under have no idea of the past and apparently don't care enough to find out.

The group this announcement addresses should most be able to recognize the fingerprints of God working in His Church. It was the ministry—1,855 ministers and elders the day I was terminated in March 1993—that helped build, lead and manage God’s Work for decades under Mr. Armstrong’s leadership. With the passing of time since his death, this number has of course dwindled (and many never left the WCG), with groups having ordained many “replacements” who have no sense or knowledge of the ministry as it existed under Mr. Armstrong. So many today simply can no longer recognize God’s Church and Work when they see it. This includes ministers and laymembers alike. (A note to ministers under 40: You have not really seen what God’s Church is supposed to look like. Those under 30 have never seen it. GRASP THIS before proceeding!)

This is what Davey hopes to resurrect in August when his angry god kills the leadership of LCG, PCG and UCG.   The glory days are more important than remagining the church so that it relates to the 21st century realities.  The 1950's, 60's 70's and 80's will never be recaptured and are eras filled with disgusting actions by the COG leadership, its ministers and it's membership.  It certainly is NOT something to be proud of.  Sexual scandals, murders, suicides, rapes, destroyed marriages, child molestations, rampant alcoholism, and countless other deviant acts make up our history.  Who in their right mind wants to relive that?

Davey Pack Bitch Slaps LCG, PCG and UCG

Davey Pack, leader of the worlds most superfantabulous Church  of God ever to exist in the realm of humanity, has slapped LCG, UCG and PCG big time today with his latest proclamation.  Today he is filled with such huge amounts of boastfulness and narcissistic ego that he comes across looking like a buffoon.  He expects to be taken seriously when he writes this stuff, but all he comes across as is a complete moron who is out of touch with reality.

The Churches of God and specifically the ministry have been ignoring Davey for years.  People are not flocking to his personality cult and that really pisses him off.

Davey wants the ministry to know that he and he alone is doing a worldwide ministry of the last days.  He and he alone has such a powerful ministry that he is close to reaching 1 1/2 billion people worldwide, something the pussy COG's cannot do.

He writes today:
TWO new open doors—one BIG!—unexpectedly presented themselves to us to expand TV coverage in the United States and around the world. The first involves a network called theWALKtv where we have secured a prime Sunday morning time slot—11:30 a.m. ET—beginning July 21. It has 209 affiliates (many in small markets) in the United States, which reach 50.2 million households through antenna, an additional 37.2 million through cable and all Free-to-Air satellite viewers in North America and the Caribbean on the Galaxy 19 satellite. This is about three-quarters of all television households in the United States (plus more internationally). Outside North America, theWALKtv reaches the U.S. Virgin Islands, Finland, Curacao and India. And viewers can now watch The World to Come™ on the following streaming devices and services: ROKU, Film On, iPoint Television, Jericho Christian Television, Omniverse and Seen on Demand.

Another absolutely wonderful slot just opened on Word Network. We took it yesterday. The World to Come will begin airing on September 1, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY MORNING! This network has over 800 U.S. affiliates (broadcast and cable) covering 134 DMAs (Designated Market Areas), and reaches over 90 million TV households in the U.S. It also reaches over 100 million households in Europe and 610 million more worldwideperhaps close to one and a half billion people with a prime slot. Word Network blankets over 200 countries and territories via satellite and/or cable. Its fleet of five geostationary satellites spans the globe, covering everywhere except South America. This network also is on DIRECTV and Sky Angel Faith & Family TV in the United States, Sky UK, Sky Italia (Italy), Tata Sky (India) and Flow TV (Jamaica).

Davey apparently thinks just because some TV stations gives him the potential number of households reached that that is the number of people that will see his program.   He is too stupid to realize that 99.999% of humanity doesn't give a rats ass about him or his TV program - and that's being generous!  If 99.999% of the COG membership is ignoring him why does he thing the world will be interested?

Then he resorts to more hyperventilating bullshit.  Apparently he assumes we are to be impressed by some weird looking buildings in the middle of Wadsworth and with his other media adventures.

Oh, and he makes sure to point out that his members are being healed of all kinds of diseases and infirmities.  Those sill in the various COG's are not experiencing dramatic healing's because his god has spit them all out for their rebellion against Davey.

Again, ask why you never hear such announcements about the “Work” in your organization? Now think of our buildings, college, literature, vast television reach beyond all the splinters put together, healings, other open doors, outside media exposure, and so much more. Think of fruits in abundance seen nowhere else.
I think what people need to do is contact these cable religious stations and ask them why they are allowing a cult to broadcast anti-christian hate on their networks!  It is always amazing to me that Armstrongism despises Christianity so much yet whores themselves out to their TV and Cable networks  like a Two-Dollar whore on a street corner.

Davey Pack: They Continue to Ridicule ME(!) as MY god is Getting Ready to Traumatize the COG

Thin skinned Davey cannot figure out why no one is paying attention to him.  All he gets is ridicule and mocking.

The timing of this reunification is wonderful news for you, but terrible news for the leaders of the large organizations. They must continue attacking and lampooning these announcements. You may begin to see a new level of viciousness appear regarding the work of The Restored Church of God—or me.
Davey's god is ready to traumatize the COG as never before.  That impotent god has been doing that for the last 70 some years.  When will people wake up that that god is  impotent? If they really believed the new covenant they would be resting right now and not have to be worrying about some coming trauma.

Many reading the announcements are intrigued. Some are fascinated. Most are dismissive. The truth from the prophecy is that God is about to begin working with YOU. (But this includes those not even reading the announcements.) Although more explanation will appear in the remaining announcements, understand for now that God is going to have to traumatize His people with an event that will shock every last person in the splinters who has the Holy Spirit (and a great many who don’t). This will lead to God opening your eyes. It will take all of these actions for most to finally ACT. Whether you agree or disagree at this point is not relevant. What is important is that you know what is coming.

Dennis:  Davey's next letter is for you so he can bring you home to the truth once delivered.  You will soon be standing tall next to Davey in Wadsworth......all will be forgiven.
Probably only four postings remain. The next one speaks to the ministers (over 1,000) who never returned to God’s House—those who split up to enter the splinters, started their own or went home in confusion. This letter will at the same time correct, inspire and surprise you ministers. Ministers should want to tell others about it. Do not miss next week’s announcement!

Dave Pack: Is He Ready To Go To Extraordinary Means To Make His Prophecy Come True?

Davey seems to be setting himself up for abject failure this coming August 30. One has to wonder though if Davey is going to go to extraordinary means in order to make his prophecy come true.  Will his 16 men be agents to bring about August 30?  If I was a splinter group leader I would get out of Dodge on that day.  Who knows what some crazy RCG member might do!  There have been enough batshit crazy members over the decades that someone is likely to do something crazy!
Some summary review. Since the prophecy has been revealed, brethren have new knowledge. They know God disagrees with the remnant’s decision that it is not yet time to come together and build His House. With knowledge comes responsibility (Jms. 4:17; Heb. 10:26). Since God revealed the prophecy NOW, He clearly does NOT agree with the remnant NOW. If it were not to be fulfilled this year, He would essentially be agreeing with the very people He just commanded to change and come to work in His Temple. This would make revealing the meaning of Haggai pointless—because it would still not yet be time. Would God do this? No!

Dave Pack: 24 "proofs" Regarding August 30, 2013

Here is the list of 24 "proofs" that guarantees that Davey's August 30, 2013 prophecy is 100% true and will happen.  Tens of thousands of COG members will soon be streaming into Davey's cult compound in the must superfantabulous reunification EVER!

1) Understanding the meaning of the prophecy, starting with Haggai 1:2, automatically carries the requirement of taking a position on it. This cannot be avoided after one learns it. Think about this. The position of the remnant is that “the time is not come” to rebuild God’s House. Are they right or wrong? God indicts their thinking, meaning they are wrong! If the prophecy is not now, the net effect would be that God agrees with the remnant’s view. Worse, so should those currently in God’s one Church because they now know the meaning of the prophecy. Think this through. One does or does not agree with the remnant. God does not—and we do not. The time is now! Let’s go further.
Davey just set himself up for failure with hsi first "proof."  He acknowledges that the COG does not see the "time has come" for rebuilding anything.

2) Directly related, why (or how) would God command the remnant to “Go…build the House!” (Hag. 1:8)—but not mean NOW? How could He mean some undetermined future year? Why would God tell them (twice) to “consider their ways”—but not mean that they should do this now? Try to imagine God saying, “Consider your ways, but take your time. There’s no hurry. In fact, take years to think it over—even though you have been out of My Church for 20 years! You don’t have to DO anything now.”

3) Also related, if God waited 2,500 years to reveal the prophecy’s meaning (3,000 years when various related much older Psalms are considered), is not His waiting done? Does His revealing it not signal that He has reached the time to fulfill it rather than having reached a point one, two or three years out?

Davey's god apparently is a tired worn out wuss after sitting in Wadsworth  close to 3,00 years waiting for Davey to get his act together.

4) Next, why would God wait longer? What would He wait for? The remnant is absolutely ripe for deliverance.
Ripe?

5) Internally, and this is no small thing, God’s Church is truly ready to expand the Work in a BIG WAY. The prophecy features this as the MAIN PURPOSE of the remnant returning! Without the prophecy’s fulfillment, this expansion would be delayed one year—or more! Why would God notify His Church of the prophecy’s existence at the very same time our staff is ready, our websites are ready, our literature is ready and even God’s college is ready for more students if the prophecy were not imminent? Why would God notify His Church if HE were not ready?
Davey has just written in his escape clause above.  If August 30 does not happen, it could be a year or more till things shape up again.  God has NEVER notify the RCG to get ready.  Davey's delusion mind heard the voices and appointed himself, just as Bob Thiel appointed himself as a leader.  Both are impotent little men trying so hard to be taken seriously by the COG and all that happen sis they both get laughed at.

6) Related to this, the buildings on our campus can very soon handle significantly more staff than we have now. This is already true without the other two buildings scheduled for completion in the late fall. However, this extra size works perfectly if the prophecy occurs this year.

7) Also related, but separate, our infrastructure is ready to receive and serve a much larger flock this fall! This includes field ministry being ready, but also other things.

8) Maturing interest from many in the world due to one year of explosive television expansion requires many more laborers in the ministry by this autumn.
Davey's EXPLOSIVE television coverage has soon to being in hundreds of thousands of faithful.  Never in the COG's history has television every brought in tens of thousands of followers.  It wont happen this time either. Davey will not be drawing in any of the public to his cult.  All he has been cable of drawing so far is less than 1,500 people who were already COG members.  His cult is comprised of nothing more than church jumpers.

9) The Restored Church of God is experiencing an AWESOME period of growth and development at this time—in the runup period just prior to the prophecy’s fulfillment. This is putting it mildly! To us, this is powerful indication that we are on the right track for this year—that God is not only pleased with His Church, but that He is helping it get ready.

10) If the prophecy did not happen this year, the remnant would remain another year (or more) undergoing ever worsening false ways. Worse off, they would have a commensurate shorter time to spiritually recover before the Tribulation. Think worse condition, less time to recover.
If Davey's prophecy does not come true COG members will have one  more year to suffer under the legalistic churches they are already in.  They will have one less year to recover from their sins before the tribulation happens.

11) If reunification occurred next year (or any year after), those with God’s Spirit would have one more year cut off from God’s Church. This carries the potential for more to quench the Holy Spirit (I Thes. 5:19) and lose salvation.
COG members will have one more year to be separated from Davey if his August 30 prophecy does not happen.

12) The readers of the Haggai prophecy announcements (this is #21) who believed them would be the most disillusioned and the biggest candidates to QUIT everything if God did not return His people to one House this year! This would work directly against what God is doing—directly opposite His overall purpose.
Davey says his god would be an utter failure if August 30 does not happen.  He knows he will loose those diehard members who believe everything he says.  They would then know Davey is a lair and leave him.

13) Further desolation (Hag. 1:11; 2:16-17) from God of the splinter “houses” would practically wipe out the few remaining senior leaders in them. This includes pastors and elders, all of whom are NEEDED TO CARRY OUT THE BIG WORK!
Davey's god is soon ready to wipe out the foundations of the numbers COG groups out there leaving their senior leaders high and dry (or dead.)  Davey wants those remaining ordained men know that he will have a place for them in his engorged, expanding and ready to explode cult (after a stint in the reduction camps of course.)

14) The onset of all future years would never come with clarity—with any certainty! Would God leave thousands who are now aware of this prophecy in such a condition? Hardly.

15) Next, for those who will see the value of how to pursue spiritual matters, there is this: After fervently seeking God about it, not one reason the prophecy is off this year ever emerged in the minds of even one of our 16 Headquarters ministers! I (we) have NEVER prayed about, studied over, meditated on, fasted about and counseled with other ministers regarding a subject more than this one—in fact no other subject is even close!
16 idiots have all agreed that Davey's prophecy will happen on August 30.  On September 1, 2013 what will these fools be thinning?

16) Similarly, as questions emerged throughout our pursuit of truth with the many details of the prophecy, so many of these details kept coming clear as direct answers to prayer. And these were often immediate.

17) Recall Haggai 1:13: “Then spoke Haggai the Lord’s messenger in the Lord’s message unto the people…” Haggai is the messenger to God’s people, with what is an all-important message from God. Would not God make clear in such a unique message He describes as “the Lord’s message unto His people” the correct date for action? What kind of message would it be if people did not know WHEN TO CARRY IT OUT?

18) Since the apostasy, God had not wanted the remnant back in His Church, but now He does. He would first reveal the remnant to His leader, then tell him how they would return, and finally that He meant NOW. This was the order in which these things became apparent.
Davey's god apparently was sooooooooooooooooo pissed at COG members that he spewed them out for over 25 years til this time.  Now he wants them back

19) Imagine God not revealing the year the remnant is coming—but only the day and month. Vast amounts of time would have been wasted by His leaders studying and preparing for something that was not imminent. Would God put His Church in such a position?

20) Of interest, God revealed to me during ELUL four years ago my role as the modern Joshua.

21) Also of interest, I and The Restored Church of God learned about the New Testament remnant last ELUL (August). Let’s ask: Would timing of when we were shown the prophecy not be tied to its unique timing of fulfillment during the very next available ELUL?

22) We might ask: does the DEVIL know the prophecy is on? For those who understand how the devil works—that he counterfeits EVERYTHING God does—a variety of counterfeit theories have recently appeared about how God is going to reunite His people. Should not the devil be expected to do this at the time it would cause the most confusion? You will soon see that most of these theories are coming from men standing on the wrong side of this prophecy.
Satan is already pissed at Davey's prophecy and is coming up with alternatives to August 30.  Satan is working with the leaders of various splinter groups to encourage members to not listen to Davey.

23) With God’s people split up, it is now almost impossible to do a powerful Work. (This might be the one area where the splinter leaders would agree.) God’s Church is largely stymied in working with both brethren and the world because of the confusion and deception from top leaders about where God’s Church is, who has the truth, who is carrying on after Mr. Armstrong, who is doing the true Work, etc. (Reread #22.) There is no other way to proceed than for God to remove leaders who have lulled with deceit many thousands who were blind (Rev. 3:17) to begin with.
Davey's god sees no other way of accomplishing the august 30 prophecy than killing several of the COG leadership.

24) World conditions cry out for a big Work NOW!!!—not one or more years from now.
They world is NOT crying for anything Davey has to offer.  If they are crying it is over the sheer stupidity they see being promoted that a few messed up people will take as truth.  The  world does not want to see more people ruined by another dangerous cult and that is exactly what will happen.

I repeat: There are many more reasons for a 2013 fulfillment, with a few of a personal nature—and others involving God moving miraculously to reveal crucial things at certain times within an extraordinarily complex prophecy that involves hundreds of verses. I have not included all of these reasons because others would likely not accept them as legitimate. They are, however, on MY much longer list (now 56 total). And these reasons stand on bedrock in the eyes of ALL our Headquarters ministers.

32 more "proofs"????????????????  How crazy is this guy!   Another article all about himself and nothing about Jesus Christ.

Is Dave Pack Ready To "Squeal Like A Stuck Pig?"
3/3/12

The small group of apostate church jumpers at Restored Church of God have this little blurb up today about Dave Pack ridiculing Ron Weinland and his idiotic May 27th prophecy:

New Open Letter Addressing Ronald Weinland’s Prophecies

Mr. Pack has written an extensive Open Letter to followers of the Church of God – PKG. It is titled “Ron Weinland—Spectacularly Wrong!

Over recent years, Ronald Weinland fell into ridiculous teachings on many topics, but especially his framework of prophecy. He has announced a series of failed predictions. He is most noted for predicting that Jesus Christ will return on May 27, 2012.

Opening with a more than cursory overview of the truth of prophecy, including some brief statements from Mr. Armstrong, this article goes on to identify and refute Weinland’s bizarre, totally unscriptural prophetic scenario. Addressing a number of topics in a way you have not seen, it is a tool to help misled followers untangle themselves from a web of error and delusion.

Apostle Pack says:

Some time before (referring to Harold Camping), a lesser known “prophet,” Ronald Weinland (of the Church of God – PKG), had spun his own theory about how Christ would return on May 27, 2012. He began pushing in earnest his end-time scenario—through extensive ad campaigns much like Harold Camping—five and a half years earlier in late 2006, in belief that the Great Tribulation would begin on December 14, 2008. (Also paralleling Harold Camping, Ron Weinland has had to recompute events and dates because of failed prophecies.)

Dave does not recognize the fact that Herbert W Armstrong had hundreds of failed prophecies. Gerald Waterhouse had hundreds of them, Dean Blackwell had his share, John Rittenbaugh has his embarrassing failures.  The list could go on and on.

The most magnanimous Apostle to ever walk the face of the earth has this to say:

True ministers of God strive to never attack other human beings. They are for the truth rather than against people—and there is a big difference. Therefore, I have determined to actively resist and teach against any false doctrines that are deceiving people among the splinters. However, this subject presents a unique problem with this policy.
Dave then goes on to say this:

When a leader teaches a false concept or doctrine, it rarely has anything to do with himself. Generally, the heresy can be clearly singled out and countered without having to necessarily address the man who teaches it.

This is going to come back and  bite Dave in the ass big time!   RCG is all about DAVE!  It's all about HIMSELF!  Hersey in the Restored Church of God is centered squarely in Dave Pack's shoulders!

Dave goes on to say this about prophets, which of course does not apply to him:

The Bible says prophets fall into one of two categories—true or false. All prophets—past, present or future—are one or the other. They cannot be both, and they cannot be in-between. Within the category of false prophets are two types: Those who claim to be a prophet, but falsely foretell events, not being inspired by the true God—and those who do not necessarily claim to be a prophet, but who teach falsely about prophecy—and for that matter any other aspect of God’s Word. The latter would include false teachers and false ministers. Like false prophets, false teachers assert they are vested with God’s authority. Rather than falsely prophesying future events, they teach false doctrines supposedly from the Bible. Therefore, Jesus’ warnings about false prophets also apply to false teachers, who work in the same way.

Ronald Weinland is a complete fraud, and one who is breathtakingly ignorant of even the most rudimentary elements of prophecy—of events that should be impossible to misunderstand. He is utterly wrong—and in his case spectacularly so, and on virtually every point! The Bible does not validate any of his prophetic ideas. You are about to see this.

We can rightly says:

Dave Pack is a complete fraud, and one who is breathtakingly ignorant of even the most rudimentary elements of prophecy—of events that should be impossible to misunderstand. He is utterly wrong—and in his case spectacularly so, and on virtually every point! The Bible does not validate any of his prophetic ideas. You are about to see this.

Dave says:

Tragically, most who read Bible prophecy remain in near total ignorance of its size and scope. They are completely unable to recognize the speed, sequence and timing of its prophecies. And this is on top of not truly comprehending what any of them means! So many just cannot untangle the maze of what happens when, as well as where and to whom—and WHY!
Then says this  about his prophecies.  He knows EXACTLY how they will all come about:

The interested reader will want to view my 2-part World to Come broadcast series titled “26 Prophetic Events in Exact Sequence Before Christ’s Return!” It reveals in detail all that lies ahead.)

Dave then goes into a look screed about the specific things that will happen in a specific order.  Just typical Armstrongite prophecy silliness.

Dave does write some good things in his letter that are spot on about Weinland.

...seeing through Ron Weinland should be a snap. Incredibly, he has managed to get almost nothing right—NOTHING! It has been said that even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut. Not Weinland! He seems unable to get anything right, even accidentally. Again, if Elijah mocked the ancient prophets of Baal, I can mock a modern one.

Pack has this to say about lying false prophets.

A final word of caution: When their silliness is exposed for what it is, false prophets usually squeal like stuck hogs in protest. With his “credibility” now at stake, I realize this article might cause Ron Weinland to smear my credibility. He virtually has to. But at best his words will only carry “weight” until May 28 when his prophecy fails. The even barely discerning person will realize Weinland cannot use God’s Word in any intelligible fashion to do this.

I can see that very soon we will see Dave squealing like a stuck pig because of his lies.

Beware all you splinter cult leaders, Dave has his sight set on you next!  God's most powerful Apostle over the largest web based minister on earth today is coming after you!

I will address more splinter leaders in the future—and in detail. This includes certain other deceivers within these groups.
Dave's letter is long and boring, filled with typical Armstrongite theological stances with a Dave spin added to them.  Read it at your leisure because it is all fantasy:  Ron Weinland—Spectacularly Wrong!

Dave Pack: If You Knew My Plans This Room Would Rock and Gyrate!
3/3/12

Liquidate your assets now and send it to Dave Pack,
before the Germans arrive and take it all!

Every once in a while Prophet Thiel has moments of clarity and can see through a lot of the COG crappola.  He has posted on his blog some comments about Dave Pack and a sermon Dave gave on November 3, 2007 where he instructs members to send in all the money they can to support his work.

Thiel claims to have listened to the entire sermon and wrote down several key points when Dave was demanding money from his small group of members.  He commands people to send in half of their net worth. He also encourages women to take their rightful portion (1/2) and send that in.  But gives a stern warning to men who have unconverted wives, that they are not to let their wives have a voice in the matter.

Thiel writes:

(I tried to type verbatim and the following is fairly close) from what purports to be a 11/03/07 sermon by David C. Pack to his followers in the Restored Church of God titled Clarion Call -- The Time is NOW!:
"First Timothy 6 verse 17...'Charge them that are rich in this world'...If you were born in the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, then you're rich"

"If you hold those riches, I'm telling you, you trust in them"

"Go get a big chunk out of your home. And put your money where your mouth is and send it here. And I'm not talking about one, two, three thousand either. How about ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, or one hundred thousand dollars? Go do it"  This is the Pack Prosperity Gospel....the more money you give to your Apostle the more you will be blessed.  Not ion this lifetime though.  You will most likely end up in bankruptcy court when you find yourself unable to pay your mortgage instead of sitting in a cold damp gave in the middle or Jordan.

"Wives, you can be independent in this. You have 1/2 the worth of whatever you have in your house. I'm officially telling you this...Wives, legally you have the 1/2 the funds. What are you going to do about it?...Husbands...'well, my wife is not in the church'...tell her...'you don't have a voice woman' " The Plain Truth on how to have a Happy Marriage......."  That's when she should slap her husband across the face and tell him to try it and see what happens!

"Go get those assets and get them here"

"Don't sit on vast resources that we can use now"
"We do not have the funds...plans...bookstores...We need to redesign our website...We need many hundreds of thousands of dollars to arrive at God's headquarters soon...the timing is now"

"This is different...ask Him for the faith to liquidate certain assets and give it to the work"  Brethren, lets liquidate those stocks, 401K's, 403B's,mutual funds and all other investments.  You no longer need it, so give it all to me!

"I'll say it again, we are talking about liquidating existing assets...it all belongs to God and the brethren" Actually what Pack is saying is that it all belongs to HIM and the brethren will never see a dime of it.

"We have a lot of plans so big going on in this office it would cause just this room to to rock and gyrate if you knew what was going on. We just need a lot of money and we need it post haste...I would give more if I had it"

"Herbert Armstrong wrote an article...'Prepare to greatly reduce your standard of living'...What he wrote by far, is more for us now than it was then...its all going to be taken away from us anyway brethren" You brethren need to reduce your income, but now.  As your Apostle I deserve the best!  I need a new mini-me Auditorium and a new multi-million dollar HQ complex in order to make myself look legitimate.  Everyone knows I am nothing more than an idiot right now, but once my buildings are built I will FINALLY be important!
"Let us know how much you plan to send and when you plan to send it...You must be willing to communicate...If you do need to counsel, please do that...If you are not ready to distribute what you have...you don't believe the flow of prophecy"

"This is announcing the last blast, the clarion call as it were, to finish the work...Whether it is 4,5,7, 9 years to go, God knows...This is liquidating assets...I have the authority to tell you to do it...I have the moral and spiritual, and ecclesiastical authority to tell you to do what I have also done" Dave says the work is coming to an end yet in 2011 he is demanding millions to finance a new cult HQ and a pretend college.  Notice how he declares he has the AUTHORITY and POWER to tell people what to do!  How can people sit in his cult and put up with this bullshit?
"Get it now when it requires faith...when you are dead you don't need it...if you named us in your wills, it can take us months or years to get it" How dare you imbeciles put us in your will when you know you will not be dying for years and maybe decades from now!  How selfish can you get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The wives in the faith will say give everything you can...We don't have the luxury of waiting years...today, leaving everything in your will simply doesn't work"

"Now you just have a second mortgage...and frankly we flee before most of it ever becomes due"  That's right!  Mortgage your home a second and third time, don't worry, you will not be here to pay it off.  Stupid, stupid people!

"...some may think that they want to tap their 401k--maybe you want to let us know that...why would you want to tell us? We are starting to prepare a budget now, the needs are now...it would be nice to know now"

"Think big...Pull big triggers"  If I were Davey I would be really careful about making such a statement!  We have already seen this put into action in Living Church of God.  Once RCG members wake up to the fact on how Davey has defrauded them, I can picture serious repercussions in the future.

"We live in the most materialistic age in the history of the world. People trust in physical things. They trust in bank accounts...If you have excess and don't need it, those verses mean you...That's the Laodicean attitude...Put your money where your mouth is...Empty your assets" Yes, give us all your money so we can build one of the most materialistic mini-me headquarters in the middle of Ohio. It is important that we have a physical building to make us look impressive to the world.  Go bankrupt to help us!

11/13/11 a.m. RCG announced the following: World Headquarters Complex

Can there be a more deviant cult leader in Armstrong than Dave Pack right now?  Even Flurry pales in comparison!

It is only going to be a matter of time till Davey and his lap poodles, Schurter, McElroy and Beher start slobbering their defense of the apostle.  PERSECUTION!

Dave Pack: My Name is Derived From the "Passover"
3/2/12

Pack certainly has no problem opening his big mouth and making an ass of himself.  Did you know that he claims that his name is a derivative of the word Pascha?  As if this is supposed to give him some divine mandate for being an apostle.  Since the Passover has at is base the concept of forgiveness, redemption and wholeness, there certainly cannot be found in Davey Pack any forgiveness and he certainly does not have the power to provide redemption or the tools for wholeness.

Here is a letter from one of his former members calling him on the carpet for it.

One last and, what should be a, totally shocking example of Mr. Pack’s mind can be found in his latest book “How often should The Lord’s Supper be taken?”  At the bottom of the first paragraph on page 9 the following statement can be found, As a side note, while researching my genealogy, I learned that our family name is derived from this very word pascha.  This statement is made as a concluding remark for the section explaining the translation of the Hebrew word for Passover.  He not only makes the point about his name but it looks as though this is the fact he wants the reader to take with him or her!!  How can a man of God actually and publicly state that his name in effect is PASSOVER?  It should be made known here that Mr. Pack was advised at some length not to include this statement for obvious reasons.  He has insisted on leaving this remark in the book and I might add that this is the weaker version of that statement.  It originally read …I learned that my name is derived from this very word pascha.  Is there anyone in God’s Church who, if they had found this to be true, would actually include this in a book that they had authored?  I guess we have at least one!
Brethren, these are only the things that I am aware of.  I ask you what else is out there and more importantly how many times does this have to happen before we all wake up and realize that this man is not who he pretends to be?  I do not know how else to say it.  I know that all you have to go on is my word, along with a steady stream of other individuals, who have over the years tried to tell you the same thing again and again and again.

The time will come when we will all have to stand before God One at a time. Does it not make sense that He would test us now, One at a time, perhaps to see if we can stand One at a time, finding out if we can be trusted in his Kingdom that is surely closer than we think?

Dave Pack Says Doctrine Can Only Come Through Him
2/29/12

William Beher is on the defense today against UCG and COGWA.  He is in a snit because they have doctrinal committees that sit down and discuss doctrine.  William wants you to know that doctrine can ONLY come down through the proper chain of command (from Jesus through Dave) and NOT through doctrinal committees.

Is Dave afraid that some of his heretical doctrines are starting to cause issues and he wants to stamp out any rebellion?  Have some of the new converts had their eyes opened and realized that they made a mistake in joining his cult because of his heretical doctrines? By speaking out such as he has, he has once again throttled members  from questioning his decisions and man made doctrines.

Who is responsible for teaching the Church doctrine and for ensuring it speaks right doctrine—TRUTH? Groups and organizations such as United Church of God and Church of God, a Worldwide Association, would have you believe “doctrinal committees” and/or a “council of elders” or individual ministers of varying ranks leading their own groups may bring truth to the Church, including overturning what an apostle taught. Also, whose duty is it—apostles, committees or lower ranking ministers—to ensure all of God’s people “speak the same thing”? Mr. Armstrong brought plain teaching on this subject, and it is what scores of thousands in the Worldwide Church of God all once professed to believe.

No “doctrinal committee” or “other group of ministers or lay members” (or any single minister below apostle) may bring truth into the Church. Why then do organizations permit groups of men to decide what their organizations believe and teach—and throw out doctrines taught by Christ’s 20th-century apostle? Who gave these men such authority?

 William ends with:

Mr. Armstrong speaks with no ambiguity! Don’t believe false ministers. Do your own thinking. Examine the rotten fruits of organizations that teach contrary to the Bible pattern, and compare this to the fruits of God’s Church, which faithfully holds to ALL of the truth—what Christ’s 20th-century apostle taught.

We have examined the rotten fruit of the "restored" Church of God and is rotten to the core.  Smelly and vile.  It makes great pig slop.

Dave Pack Says: "...that he is not held to The Law (biblical) as members are"
2/28/12

November 22, 1999

Dear Brethren:
From time to time, Christians must do what is commanded by God concerning those whose behavior shows them to be an enemy of God.  While this duty and responsibility is quite unpleasant we are required to do it.  This letter concerns a problem with a minister who is sowing discord among the brethren.  So let us first look at what Jesus Christ told us concerning such a matter.  He said in Mat 18:
vv. 15-17 (NKJV)  "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. {16} "But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.' {17} "And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”
Notice that there are no exceptions here as to who your brother is.  Nor is there an exception where we are told how to deal with an errant elder or minister.  Notice what is said in 1 Tim 5:
vv. 19-21 (NKJV)  “Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. {20} Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. {21} I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without
prejudice, doing nothing with partiality.”  [emphasis ours]
We see where Paul had to deal with a similar problem in 2 Cor. 11:
     vv. 14-15 (NKJV)  “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. {15}
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose nd will be according to their works.”
Because God’s commands (Mat 18:15-17 & 1 Tim 5:19-21) were not always followed in the recent past, we have wolves among the flock.  In light of the prophecy in Dan 12:7, which talks about the power of the holy people being shattered, we see that we (ministers and members alike) are partly responsible for this shattering in that God’s instructions were not followed correctly, if at all.  This is in spite of what Jesus Christ told us in Mat 10:28 (NKJV)  "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”  The ministry, within the various corporations, has been afraid of lawsuits and therefore did not do as we were commanded.  This problem apparently started with the mishandling of a situation in the sixties, which resulted in a lawsuit for slander, libel, and defamation of character.  The end result is we now have problems with wolves that can and do attack the flock with impunity.

Because we are determined to do what God says, regardless of the physical  consequences, we must warn you about a wolf that has entered into our midst.  We tell you this because this “minister” has been sowing discord among the brethren.  And by his own admission, before several witnesses, is not a minister of Jesus Christ, nor meets the qualifications given in 1 Tim 3 or Titus 1.

This letter concerns Mr. David C. Pack and has not been done lightly.  While we are not ordained, we understand the implications of James 4:17.  Therefore, we have proceeded slowly and cautiously, obtaining counsel because we did not wish to act precipitously, and because we did not want to do as Korah did.  It is because of his [Mr. Pack] conduct and behaviors, that an investigation was done, and it was found that on May 3rd 1999, Mr. Pack had been terminated for cause from Global, disfellowshipped and removed from the ministry (“defrocked”)!  Mr. Pack did not disclose this to his congregation (Akron OH), but instead covered the truth.  Global had taken their actions because he [Mr. Pack] was found to be sowing discord among the brethren.  Unfortunately, Global did NOT make this public.

[Subsequent to the writing of this letter it was discovered that Global HAD made this public, although no one in this area has seen a copy of the letters of termination/disfellowshipment written to the brethren. If we obtain copies of these letters, we will post them for confirmation.]

On October 11, 1999, Mr. Pack was approached, at his insistence, by those people who had been employees, volunteers, and/or, contractors of the Restored Church of God, and was confronted with further explicit evidence of his sowing discord.  He told us that he was sorry and would repent.  We withdrew from him to give him time to show fruits of repentance.  The result was, rather than admitting before the church that he had been the one causing all the problems presented to him, he has decided to attack those who have confronted him over his conduct.

Per the admonitions within The Bible, as stated above, we must tell you and explain what we showed him to be doing (conduct) and the results.  Note that these problems are ones of conduct and some of the applicable verses are listed with each item:

  • Mr. Pack has stated that he is not held to The Law (biblical) as members are – not that he is held to a higher standard, but that these things don’t apply to him (1 Tim 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-15, John 14:15, 1 Tim 5:19-21)
  • Mr. Pack stated in the first office staff meeting, as Restored was being formed, that he would not look at tithe/contribution records.  He decided he could not be held to that promise and began looking at these records immediately prior to the Feast of Trumpets 1999 (Ex 20:16, Mat 5:37)
  • Mr. Pack divulged, among the office staff, those who were the largest contributors, and those who tithed once a year and/or quarterly (Lev 19:16)
  • Mr. Pack showed favoritism in duty assignments based on contributions (Lev 19:15, Jam 2:1-9)
  • Mr. Pack was divulging confidential information given him in counseling sessions and used the information in an attempt to divide family members or as a reason to sever people from their position(s) at RCG (employee, contractor, or, volunteer) (Lev 19:11, 13, 16)
  • Mr. Pack was found to be a talebearer in that he was repeating stories rather than putting a stop to them (Lev 19:16)
  • Mr. Pack “terminated for cause” one of the staff members of RCG because he had not paid tithes, even though he was self-employed and all during the time he worked for RCG had incurred losses – therefore had no increase to tithe on (Lev 19:11, 13, 15)
  • Mr. Pack claimed that certain people embezzled funds after his having approved of  the expenditure and or reimbursement (Lev 19:11)
  • Mr. Pack demanded people work for the church for free, while being paid their severance from their prior employer (e.g., if a person was being paid for two weeks of accrued vacation after resigning, Mr. Pack required them to work for RCG for two weeks without accruing pay) (Lev 19:13)
  • Mr. Pack was sowing discord within families and between husband and wife (Lev 19:16)
  • Mr. Pack was sowing discord between the various groups he was trying to get to join RCG (Lev 19:16)
  • Mr. Pack on a regular basis exaggerated figures as to income and/or attendance (Lev 19:11, Ex 20:16, Col 3:9)
  • Mr. Pack quickly and easily trampled on brethren who even slightly opposed or held a different viewpoint or opinion.  Many times this precipitated inconceivable schemes by him.  This was found to be a pattern throughout much of his ministry.  (2 Cor 1:24 John 7:24)
  • Mr. Pack stated that one of the persons bringing the problems to him had gone public with that information.  He [Mr. Pack] was challenged on this, and could provide no proof, yet continued to make similar statements.  (Ex 20:16, 23:1-2, Lev 19:11, 16, Deu 16:19-20)

(This is a short list, because to go over any more, or give specific details would be to invade the privacy of other individuals.)

These things were brought to his attention in explicit detail, with and before witnesses, and taken to the ministry (in explicit detail with witnesses) within Restored Church of God.  Those documents presented to the ministry of RCG have not been publicly or privately circulated due to the nature of those documents [see the last bullet above].

Meanwhile, Mr. Pack ultimately refused to accept his responsibility in these matters and then began attacking those bringing the problems to his attention.  Part of that attack was to attempt to discredit the persons bringing the Mat 18 situation, and the witnesses, with the ministers within RCG.  In doing this, he was telling those ministers to ignore what was brought before them, whereby he interfered with judgment – a violation of those principles found in Ex. 23 and Deut. 16 concerning interfering with the giving of judgment:

Ex 23:1-2, 7 (NKJV)  "You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. {2} "You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so  as to turn aside after many to pervert justice. {7} "Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I will not justify the wicked.” [emphasis ours]
Deu 16:19-20 (NKJV)  "You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. {20} "You shall follow what is  altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God is giving you.”
     [emphasis ours]
He even went so far as to “disfellowship” and “mark” one of the ministers who questioned him [Mr. Pack] on his conduct and his [Mr. Pack] sowing of discord.

These things show that Mr. David C. Pack has not only been guilty of sowing discord among the brethren but continues to do so with impunity.  Again, we let God speak via The Bible from Titus 3:

vv. 10-11 (NKJV)  “Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, {11} knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.”
As a result, we unfortunately have had to write this letter to finish what was commanded in Mat 18:17, of announcing it before the church and I Tim 5:20, to publicly rebuke those elders that sin.  Therefore, we humbly submit to you all (regardless of corporate affiliation) that David C. Pack has disqualified himself by his actions and behavior as a minister and should be considered the same as “a heathen man and a publican” (Mat 18:17 KJV).

Dave Pack: Former  Employees "...affirm that he has a lack of self-control
in the temper department."
2/27/12

Dear Brethren of The Restored Church of God,

Mr. Pack has often stated in the past that he wants us to be the most informed Church among all the splinter groups. I know you haven’t been hearing that lately, so here is some information that is vital for you to know, about which Mr. Pack has somehow failed to inform you.

It is with great sadness and heaviness of heart that I, Thomas L. Munson must write this to you. It is my duty as a Trustee of The Restored Church of God, Ministerial assistant and Ministerial trainee of Mr. Pack, Treasurer for the Church and a converted Christian who is committed to the entirety of the truth of God as taught to us by Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, to inform you of particular events that have occurred over a period of time. These events happened in my presence while I was employed at RCG. If you are as committed to the truth of God as I am, then you will want to know. If you are not, then you will not care to know what this letter contains. I now have the distinction of being the longest lived employee of Restored, although I was the newest employee as recently as mid-January of this year.

Mr. Pack has repeatedly stated in the past that he wanted to run the Church in a squeaky clean manner. As the Treasurer of the Church for the past three months now, I can see a clear and consistent pattern of overspending, wastefulness and worst of all, a misuse of all three categories of directed tithe funds. Anybody who is a contributor to the Restored Church of God should be concerned with that statement. What do I mean? Let me explain. Directed funds are funds where you, the contributor, specify exactly how they should be spent as a condition of RCG accepting the funds. Example: Third tithe. Everyone in the Church knows it is to go to the widows and the orphans and other needy people as their legitimate needs arise. This is a long standing doctrine of the Church. However, very little third tithe contributed to RCG is actually spent in the manner which God says it should be. Mr. Pack has even instructed me to deny people who need third tithe, and instead use the third tithe to help meet payroll, rent, attorney salary, and other expenses unrelated to third tithe. I cannot in good conscience comply with his demands any longer.

Mr. Pack has repeatedly instructed me to turn down those requesting second tithe assistance while also repeatedly instructing me to deposit all excess second tithe, and tithe of second tithe into our main checking account, (which is the first tithe account) to cover our shortfalls due to overspending. I have refused to do as he demands, explaining to him that my conscience tells me not to do as he demands. Of course his demands are verbal and not in writing. When I told him of my crisis of conscience, he became extremely angry and verbally abusive of me. He even made many untrue and unkind remarks to me about my wife, and even attacked Mr. Armstrong’s integrity. He claimed Mr. Armstrong misused third tithe and festival tithes in such a way that I “wouldn’t even believe it.” That saddened me. I had hoped he would have said: “Tom, you passed the test, I really didn’t expect you to do what I was telling you to do, I was just testing you.” But he didn’t. He told me a condition of my continued employment was to pay the bills with excess second tithe, and tithe of a tithe and third tithe. I won’t steal God’s tithe in my personal life and I won’t steal God’s tithes from the needy. Mr. Pack should have known I was honest when he hired me.

Even though the Church pays me $54,000.00 per year as a salary, and I am by no means the highest paid employee of the Church, I am no pauper either. After speaking to Mr. Pack about my crisis of conscience, he privately offered to give me money from the third tithe fund “to keep me happy and to help me out.” I declined his offer, assuring him that I did not need to be “helped out.” I could come to no other conclusion except that he was offering me a bribe. And, had I accepted the money, I felt I would be just as guilty as he.
Brethren, this is a new twist of a doctrinal change. He teaches excess second tithe, tithe of a tithe, and third tithe, but he seldom uses it for the purpose which God intends. And when he does, only a small portion is spent as it is intended. The rest goes to pay Mr. Pack’s salary, and the salary of his attorney and the excessive rent payment for our office complex. We only use about half of the space for which we are paying. Mr. Pack is only too willing to use these directed tithe funds as a part of the normal operating budget. Meanwhile the needy do without. God will not bless a Church or its leader who blatantly rob him. This is immoral and illegal. I cannot ignore the seriousness of what I have witnessed. As a trustee of the Church, I have an obligation to the members of the Church and to God that supercedes any obligation to Mr. Pack as my employer. I also have to consider the fact that my attorney has advised me that I may be exposed to prison time if I comply with Mr. Pack’s directions.

Reread Mr. Pack’s own book “There Came a Falling Away” on page 403, change 257. This outlines exactly how all the different tithes are to be used. On the bottom of page 25 of the revised “Why The Restored Church of God?” booklet , Mr. Pack states: “I have gone on record for so long, and in writing, through these books and tapes about exactly where I stand on doctrine and the pursuit of holding fast to all of it, no matter the cost, that I could never get away with making changes now. God’s people (and my detractors) would be quick to “call me on it.”” I “called him on it.” He treated me harshly when I brought up to him how I believed he was compromising God’s doctrines, teachings and law in a clear way. He compounded his wrong practices with unChrist-like behavior. His unChrist-like behavior has been witnessed by me since the day I began working at RCG headquarters. I can excuse this behavior no longer in my mind.

As Treasurer, I can attest to the fact that God has been removing his blessings from Restored. Mr. Armstrong often said “If our ways please God, he will bless the work.” Mr. Pack used to say that frequently, the last few months he has forgotten this. He even scoffed at me when I suggested that God is not pleased with some aspect of Restored a month ago. Income is dropping steadily, and so is membership in RCG. I believe it is in part due to Mr. Pack misusing God’s tithes. Membership in RCG is dropping faster than new members can replace the ones who are leaving, despite what Mr. Pack so often says or would have you believe. Over 100 of the less than 200 members at the feast last year have dropped out. Mr. Pack did the math himself. Most who left are not from the local congregation at headquarters, although some are. At least half of the new members gained after the feast have also dropped out. Some people beg for counseling and are ignored, others are dealt with so harshly only a masochist would take the abuse. I am not exaggerating, brethren. I could go on and on. I have worked side by side with Mr. Pack for the past eight months, I have witnessed too much. I refuse to be a witness to any further abuse or neglect of God’s sheep. Currently membership in RCG is less than 200 in total around the world and dropping, not rising as Mr. Pack claims.

The bylaws of The Restored Church of God seem not to be worth even the paper upon which they are written. I have ample supporting evidence to back this up. This legal document defining who and what RCG is and what it must do “By Law” has not been adhered to ever since the day Mr. Pack and his full time attorney wrote them. When I bring these matters to the attention of Mr. Pack, his solution is not to abide by them, but to rewrite them. There is so much more I could say about the matter of the bylaws of the Church, but space prevents me.

Mr. Pack changes his mind more than any person I have ever met in my entire life. This is very damaging to the morale of the office staff, both past and present. Now I can clearly see why so many have walked away from working with Mr. Pack. This instability doesn’t come out in sermon tapes but it sure does at the headquarters office. I have taken more than any reasonable person can withstand and I can excuse his behavior no longer. With my departure, his longest lived employee is employed 6 months. Is it a coincidence that ALL his employees but the two most recent have left him? After they leave he pronounces that they were unconverted. What are the odds that all his former employees were unconverted? What a very poor judge of character he must be after twenty some years in the ministry if all his employees whom he hand picks personally are unconverted.

Mr. Pack and his attorney have repeatedly, in the presence of the office staff of RCG, commented how thankful they are that Mr. Pack can fire any employee at anytime, for any reason, and the Restored Church of God will not have to pay out one cent in unemployment compensation benefits. Churches in Ohio can only rarely obtain unemployment benefits for its staff. Hearing this bantered about demoralizes the employees, especially those who quit more secure jobs, and had no knowledge of this prior to coming to work for Mr. Pack. The work environment at RCG headquarters, which Mr. Pack has created, is best described as dysfunctional. I have personally witnessed Mr. Pack lose his temper so many times I have lost count. Previous employees of RCG can affirm that he has a lack of self-control in the temper department. Many are the victims of his wrath. I believe the only reason Mr. Pack has not been sued is because of the unwavering Christian values of his former victims.

Mr. Pack has repeatedly told outright lies in my presence in order to manipulate people and obtain whatever results he desires as a result of those lies. He does not seem to care about the consequences those lies may bring to his victims. The scripture he has quoted most in my presence is 2 Cor. 12:16. He constantly goes around proudly saying “I caught you/him/her/them with guile.” Any study of the word guile in a concordance will show you if God approves of his private interpretation of this scripture. Rev. 14:4-5 is what Mr. Pack should try to attain and teach. As a ministerial trainee, I need to report that he has tried to teach me that catching people with guile (deceit) is a Godly attribute worthy of apostles. He knows that I cannot and will not agree with him on this matter.

RCG’s policy: If you don’t tithe you’re out. Over half of the mailing list was removed for one reason and one reason only, they didn’t give as much as Mr. Pack wanted them to. Forget about “freely you received, freely give.” One of the biggest events of the day for Mr. Pack is when the mail comes in. He opens the mail personally in order to count every last cent that comes in, and to see who has suddenly stopped tithing. If someone hasn’t given money in a while, he usually won’t counsel with them. What he does is to remove them from the mailing list. This is true of prospective members, too. Everything seems to revolve around money for Mr. Pack. If you knew how much he spent per month on rent and for his personal attorney, or how huge his salary is, then you would know why he is so concerned with the tithes, and why he is so willing to misuse the other tithes as well as first tithe.

He stereotypes people based on what group they came out of. Mr. Pack acts one way to people to their faces or over the phone but behind their backs he acts entirely different. Here is what Mr. Pack has told me he feels about those who are in Restored: If an RCG member came with us from PCG, they are as spiritually insane as Gerald Flurry and are likely to detonate. He says he shudders every time someone new comes with us from PCG. If you came from Living then you are lukewarm and compromised like Rod Meredith. If you came from Global straight to Restored, then you are balanced. (That’s the route Mr. Pack took!) All others don’t even register. How insulting of his membership. At best, this leaves no room for change or growth, assuming his stereotypes are correct. I do not believe his stereotypes are Godly or correct.

Mr. Pack gossips constantly. When you counsel with Mr. Pack it is not confidential. If you counsel with him about someone else and ask for confidentiality, sooner or later he betrays that trust and tells the other person what was said, and oftentimes he puts a spin on what was said. I have witnessed this repeatedly, and previous employees have witnessed this, too.

Make-up: Despite Mr. Pack’s claims to the contrary, RCG does permit the use of cosmetics when it is convenient to do so. I am personally aware of people who have left RCG because Mr. Pack refused to enforce his ruling on make-up. Many people he allows to come to services with make-up on as long as they, guess what, TITHE. Those who want to wear make-up and don’t tithe are put out.

Open door policy: RCG does indeed practice an open door policy. Perhaps the worst violator of the open door policy is Mr. Pack himself. He has invited his own relatives who have no intention of joining Restored to services and allowed the women to wear make-up. Protestants, other COG, ex WCG now unbelieving, etc., etc. Even a woman who works downstairs in another office but has no clue about God’s truth asked to come and the Packs invited her. The reason she wanted to come to Church was because she could hear the song service and liked the music and singing. Also in violation of his stated policies, Mr. Pack sent out Feast registration forms to dozens of people who are not members of RCG. He is flinging the doors of our Feast wide open.

Mr. Pack spends an inordinate amount of time trying to pin something, anything, on previous employees. It was Mr. Pack and his attorney who called the police on Don Tiger after Don refused to sign over the rights to his CD’s to RCG. Mr. Pack knew there was an outstanding federal warrant for Don Tiger when he hired him. Mr. Pack wanted the CD project so badly that he was willing to overlook the warrant. Don’s mistake was to counsel with Mr. Pack. Sadly, Mr. Pack used that information against Don later, violating yet another confidence. Mr. Pack turned Don Tiger over to the police. Read the following quote from Mr. Pack’s persecution statement: “The history of the True Church is replete with a basic replicating pattern of persecution that comes, almost entirely, from two basic sources. First, those who hold fast to the full Truth of God are eventually expelled, attacked and accused because they will not go along with either the wholesale, or even PARTIAL, sell-out of God’s Truth! Second, is that the civil governments of this world become involved in directly persecuting the people of God, as well. As true and painful as this is, in itself, this often happens (perhaps even most often happens) because the persecuting Church “members” are the ones who actually betray the true brethren to the authorities who, it is hoped, will seek to bring or precipitate greater persecution upon those same true brethren.” What a sickening policy for Restored to have!! Mr. Pack falsely accuses this man. Here’s an example of many: “In this light, it is interesting to note that the old Trust Fund was overdrawn by approximately $3,500, an amount that might now be difficult to recoup.” False! Untrue! Any investigation of the account can clearly show that Mr. Tiger never overdrew the funds by one cent! There was a balance of over $270.00 on the very day when Mr. Pack gave in to Worldwide attorney Ralph Helge and closed it down. I could literally cite dozens of outright defamatory lies Mr. Pack has made while attacking Don Tiger. I believe the Tigers have acted in an honorable fashion by not suing Mr. Pack for slander and libel. My hope is that Mr. Pack will repent of telling lies and will bring forth fruits of repentance by admitting the lies and setting the record straight with the truth.

Mr. Pack also knew about an outstanding traffic ticket Don received because the most recently hired employee told Mr. Pack about it. Mr. Pack wanted Don Tiger’s email list too. Don didn’t feel comfortable with giving it up so he declined to give it away. This angered Mr. Pack. Mr. Pack used confidential knowledge to turn Don in. I was there when it happened.

June 7 Update: “Do not be afraid to believe that God may dramatically intervene to protect His Church from enemies who threaten to attack it!” June 10 Update: “Just hours before Donald Tiger was arrested the second time on Wednesday night, Mr. Pack announced on this web site (please see June 7th Update) that “do not be afraid to believe that God will dramatically intervene to protect His church from His enemies.” We believe that God has dramatically intervened in a way we could have never imagined.” Mr. Pack sicced the police on Don Tiger days before and was told in advance that he would be picked up for the traffic ticket and warrant. There was no surprise involved. Both updates were written by Mr. Pack. Need I say more. The following is a quote from Mr. Pack’s persecution statement, I think it applies to what Mr. Pack did to Mr. Tiger: “Certainly, if I wanted to accuse somebody, and also make them look as bad as I possibly could in the process (probably because I wanted to also divert attention away from the real doctrinal issues), one of the most brilliant “strokes” that I could contrive would be to say that the person I am seeking to attack and accuse is really attacking and accusing me. What more effective and clever strategy to deflect attention from the real issues could you think of while you, at the same time, portray yourself as a victim?” Think about this and try to recall even one single incident where Mr. Tiger “attacked” or “accused” Mr. Pack. Mr. Pack has certainly made multiple attacks and accusations against Mr. Tiger, and even went so far as to send the police after Mr. Tiger. The reason Mr. Pack refuses to answer his accusers is that he would be faced with three clear and distinct choices. 1) Deny the statements and be called a liar. 2) Repent and confess his sins and change his ways and be forgiven. 3) Say nothing at all and hope it will all go away. Mr. Pack chooses to slyly deny anything brought against him by refusing to comment. Or he says something to this effect: “I refuse to answer those who accuse me falsely.” That is of course an answer to the accusation and a counteraccusation. He tries to hide behind his book “Should Accusers Be Answered” saying he will not answer his accusers and all the while answering and counter-accusing. The following is a quote from Mr. Pack’s persecution statement: “As I mentioned above, most people understand that I will never answer my accusers – no matter what those accusations may be. This particular accusation would never require an answer anyway because everything I do (books, booklets, tapes, and letters to members, Newsletters and Updates) is public and open for all to review themselves.” The question many people have for Mr. Pack is: How do you explain this in light of your removing updates from the website? How do you explain this in light of your open door policy? How do you explain this in light of the fact that many write in with requests, and you refuse to honor those requests? Where are all the things which you mentioned above public and open for all to review themselves? Mr. Pack, again you are not being honest with your audience. Why?

I fully expect that I too will be accused of the most heinous of crimes when I am gone. My real crime was selling my successful business and making the largest contribution to Restored in its history. The majority of the directed funds I contributed were not spent as directed, by the way. Now I will face certain economic hardship in order to stand on principle. I put my family in harms way by coming to work for him, but I do not fear. God is my rock. He has always been there for me.

As my final act as Trustee I send you this letter. For the above stated reasons and many, many more I hereby tender my resignation as a Trustee of The Restored Church of God, as its treasurer, my position as Ministerial trainee and assistant, and my membership in Restored Church of God. I join an ever growing list of former employees who wished Restored would have lived up to its promises but now believe that the man in charge is incapable of keeping his promises. You may contact me at 1-330-xxx-xxxx or email me at tmunson@xxxx if you so desire. You may write to me at P.O. Box xxxx, Wadsworth, Ohio 44282. It has been a pleasure to be of service to you for the last eight months. I wish you well.

Your servant,

Dave Pack: "I am not qualified to be a minister"
2/27/12

The gift of the internet that  just keeps on giving:

SUBJECT:  Mat 18:15-17, I Tim 5:19-21 vs. Mr. David C. Pack

Dear Gentlemen:

We are bringing a matter to you that is quite serious.  As “peers” [you gentlemen] to Mr. Pack, and as ministers, we are presenting a situation to you in light of Mat 18 and I Tim 5 as we have already gone before Mr. Pack with witnesses.

The gravity of the situation is such that the following two things have occurred in the Akron Ohio area as a result of Mr. Pack’s behavior:

· Of all the people hired to work for Restored Church of God (USA), prior to the FOT ’99, only one is left
· Of all the leading men in the Akron OH congregation (those who were in the Deacons & Elders meetings), only one is left

Again, both of the above situations are the direct result of Mr. Pack’s behavior.  Since the letters of resignation and/or termination (attached) by Darrell Gaug, Joan Thompson and Steve Thompson are quite explicit covering Mr. Pack’s problems, we will only summarize them here – Mr. David C. Pack is causing division within the Body of Christ.

The letters that we wrote were presented to Mr. David C. Pack on Monday, October 11, 1999 as the first step of a Matt. 18:15 process.

Immediately upon receiving those letters, Mr. Pack went to the Gaug’s home.  He [Mr. Pack] effectively escalated this to a review before witnesses (making this the second step in Matthew 18:15-17), by allowing Mr./Mrs. Bill Sheppard Jr., Mrs. Nancy Sheppard, and Mr. Tim Mobley to come over to the Gaug’s home to discuss various problems.  Mr./Mrs. Thompson arrived later that evening.

The end result of the meetings that day was that several of us heard Mr. Pack say the following:

“I am guilty of all points in all three letters.”

It needs to be noted that while talking with Mr. Pack during discussions on October 11 about the letters and other allegations, he lied.  Specific examples are: he said he had nothing to do with the selection of who was on the opening and closing prayer lists, song leaders, and speakers at the Feast sites (Mr. Pack is the one that specifically approved the lists prior to sending them to the co-ordinators).  He also denied calling Steve an “unbalanced fool” (note that he started with being guilty of the contents of the letters) to Darrell Gaug and then justified such a thing if he had done it by telling us that Mr. Armstrong had done similarly to Mr. Raymond McNair.  Notice this last thing carefully – every time something was pointed out to him, he pointed to Mr. Armstrong and says he did no more than did Mr. Armstrong in a similar situation.

Mr. Pack asserted over and over in these meetings that we had to forgive him (70 times 7) while continuing to lie about things!

Most of the witnesses (all the leaders of the local congregation) had decided to leave RCG permanently prior to this point.  However, after Mr. Pack had left, it was discussed that we should give him one to two weeks to show fruits of repentance.  The result was his spin doctoring in the updates of October 15 & 22, 1999 placed on the RCG website http://www.restoredcog.org -- copies attached (October 15 Update - October 22 Update).  He then started rumors about different persons.  He claimed that Steve Thompson emailed the world about the problems, but when challenged by Steve, immediately backed down.  He has claimed that Darrell and Joan embezzled funds on the day they left.

Due to the number of lies that Mr. Pack has been caught in, we have begun reviewing several things Mr. Pack has told us over the past several months.  One such topic concerned the events surrounding his departure from Global in early May of this year.  Please find enclosed a letter from what was the Global Church of God, dated May 3, 1999, wherein Mr. Pack was not only disfellowshipped and his employment was terminated, but he was also removed from the ministry for causing division.

He now claims to be the author of the two books, “Except the Lord Build the House” and “Except There Come a Falling Away”.  At one time he said he did not author these.  So Steve Thompson contacted Karen Ray.  What she says is what he use to tell people in Akron -- he had not written those books, but at best was a “co-author.”

We continue to discover things are not the way he “remembers” them.

In addition, we have uncovered a lengthy string of current and former members of RCG and GCG who have been treated in a similar manner by Mr. Pack as we are being.

Meanwhile, during the two weeks that we have sat out of RCG’s services (giving Mr. Pack an opportunity to show fruits of repentance), Mr. Pack’s actions need to be reviewed.  On Monday morning October 11, Mr. Pack said he was responsible for everything in the letters.  By Monday evening, he was only 90% responsible.  By late Thursday evening of that week, he was “maybe responsible” for a small amount.  While doing this, he showed partiality working to get Darrell Gaug and family to come back, while slandering everyone else.

Let us be perfectly clear.  Mr. Pack has been trying to get Darrell Gaug and family to return to RCG, while ignoring ALL the others he has offended this year.

We are now into week three and there have been some pretty wild rumors that have been going around.  Mr. Pack was found to be the source of several of them, such as “Steve Thompson wanted the church to pay him $125/hr,” “Bill Ambrose was writing checks to himself and embezzling funds,” and, “Steve Thompson said that Mr. Pack would file a suit against us in three weeks.”  We (collectively) have been accused of calling and writing members of RCG to get them to leave.

It has occurred to us that Mr. Pack may be spreading these rumors [lies] to give him an opportunity for a preemptive strike so that he may disfellowship and mark all of us “for cause” wherein none of the Akron congregation would ask questions.  This would then discredit us in this Mat. 18 and I Tim 5 situation as far as the Akron congregation is concerned.

Darrell, Joan, and I, therefore, with regret, have no other option other than to bring this to you as the next step in the process of “rebuking an elder” (I Tim. 5:19-21).   Considering Mr. Pack:

· said before witnesses that he does not qualify to be a minister as stated in I Tim. 3:2-7 and Titus 1:6-16, and

· admits he is guilty of all points in the attached resignation/termination letters, and
· considering that he has already been removed from the ministry by Global for cause, we must regrettably request that you take the same action against him as did Global.

We understand the gravity of what we are asking, but we believe that this request is necessary to protect the flock from further damage.  Therefore, we must ask that you reply with your decisions and/or actions to be taken no later than November 30, 1999.

Dave Pack: Violated Confidentiality of Those He Counseled
2/27/12

The internet has turned out to be an unforgiving tool at exposing the lies and hypocrisy of various Church of God ministers in charge of several of the splinter cults.  So when Dale Schurter and Larry McElroy get on and post absurd letters about the glorious  mind boggling work being done in Wadsworth you need to look beyond the propaganda and lies to see the depth of depravity at work.

The issue related below about Pack breaching confidentiality of counselees under his care is not unique to him alone.  This has been a problem in the COG for decades.  It was common knowledge that ministers in Pasadena would sit around and talk about peoples problems and life issues while laughing about them with others.  When the Pasadena Church Offices were moved to the first floor of the Hall of Ad between Telecom and the Security Office, you could regularly hear people there talking about members problems and laughing about them.  The Security Office personnel were appalled at some of the things they heard.

Here is a letter from 1999 that was sent to Dave Pack from his office manager.

October 11, 1999

Mr. Pack:

I am immediately resigning from my position with the Restored Church of God.  This action became necessary due to a crisis of conscience precipitated by your actions.

Since just after the Feast, I began to seriously consider resigning, but not until after the book and the quarterly receipts were completed.  However, my husband advised me to speed up the timetable as a result of a recent conversation he had with you, the substance of which he could not inform me of, according to your request.

The leadership of a church must conduct itself in a manner that is consistent with the tenets of the Church, and, since I began working at Restored, I have observed you violating basic tenets of our Church, including the following:

· Slandering church members
· Attempting to cause division within a family by going to a wife and insulting her husband, and then going to the husband and insulting his wife
· Reneging on commitments, such as your statement that you would not look at tithe records, then doing so with impunity.  Also, entering into agreements with people, then unilaterally changing the terms knowing that everything was verbal and that they would have no recourse
· Having little regard for employees’ commitments to their families by continually mismanaging your schedule and then requiring employees to work overtime to make up for it, demanding they change their schedules to solve a “crisis” of your making
· Berating employees for making purchases or decisions after they had cleared them with you in the presence of others
· Violating the confidentiality of those who have counseled with you about their problems by discussing them in the presence of others
· Haranguing and casting dispersions at those who attempt to discuss the above problems with you.

I cannot work for, or be associated with, a church where these kinds of actions have become commonplace at the top level.  You have clearly placed yourself above God’s law and have become unapproachable by those who would like to discuss problems in the Church.

You will find RCG’s checkbook in my office.  I wrote payroll checks and expense checks to bring us current to my last day of work.  You will find everything to be receipted and above-board.

I bear you no ill will, but sincerely hope that you will come to see the gravity of these charges and correct your conduct before many of the wonderful people in Restored are injured, as so many others have been.

Please do not attempt to call me or come to my home to discuss these charges.  Any contact should be by e-mail or letter.

Sincerely,
Joan Thompson

Can Dave Pack be trusted to tell the truth about himself or anyone else?
2/26/12

Can Dave Pack be trusted to tell the truth
about himself or anyone else?

Dave Pack has made many false and disparaging remarks about those that have left his employ or have left his church. How can you be sure whether he is telling the truth or telling lies? Unless you have firsthand knowledge of  him and his behavior, it may be difficult to determine with absolute certainty.
What if it can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has lied about himself, in order to make himself look good to others? And what if those lies can be exposed for the lies that they truly are? Then you could know with certainty that he is the type of man who will lie about others who are exposing him in order to make them look as bad as possible and him as good as possible.

Let’s examine some claims Dave Pack has made about himself!

"I am certainly ready and willing to do the work of spreading the message of the Kingdom of God to the world. I have a whole host of ideas about HOW to do it should Christ make the funds and staff available. For instance, The Plain Truth newsstand program was largely a project that I developed, almost from its inception."David C. Pack, Why The Restored Church of God? Page 19 second Paragraph Edition 1.2 June 1999

Surely, Dave Pack would not mislead anyone or "misspeak himself" about himself. He of all people would know whether the above statement is truthful or not! He of all people would know what events have happened in his life!

To put the above statement in print in a foundational booklet about his church must be proof that he is telling the truth about himself. Right?

Let’s see what official Worldwide Church of God documents and publications from the time period in question reveal.

In Volume 1, Number 2 of The Worldwide News dated April 30, 1973 on page 3 it says:

Plain Truth Newsstand Distribution Rapidly Accelerating Worldwide
Bricket Wood – A dramatic idea fired our imagination almost two years ago here in England. The idea – newsstand distribution – came from Mr. Ronald Dart, then director of the foreign educational service.
The door of radio broadcasting in Britain had already closed very firmly in 1967, and the Work had one less medium by which to advertise and educate. A new method of promoting The Plain Truth had to be found.
In 1971 Mr. Dart said he believed that newspaper and magazine shops and outlets in rail, bus and air terminals would prove effective distribution points for The Plain Truth.

Experience has shown he was absolutely right. Now, the program of newsstand distribution is gathering momentum in other countries.

From humble beginnings in July, 1971, when 399 magazines were placed on newsstands in Britain, the operation has accelerated rapidly.

Now, a total of 170,000 copies are dispatched each month to the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Switzerland, Portugal, the Falkland Islands, French Canada, South Africa and Japan.
By including subscription cards in the newsstand issues, many thousands have been encouraged to request regular mailed copies. A full five percent of each month’s readership request a subscription.

It is clear and beyond any shadow of a doubt that Dave Pack has lied to us in the pages of his booklet entitled "Why the RCG?" Official Worldwide Church of God literature informs us the idea was Mr. Ron Dart’s, not Dave Pack’s. Nowhere in the article does the name of Dave Pack even appear. Interesting indeed if the statement "The Plain Truth newsstand program was largely a project that I developed, almost from its inception" was actually true. What is even more interesting about Dave Pack’s claim to fame regarding the newsstand program being his idea and not Mr. Dart’s is the fact that Dave Pack was still a novice in the truth at AC at the time Mr. Dart created the newsstand program. His claim has a similar ring to his stealing the credit from Karen Ray and her compilations of doctrinal changes and calling it all his own ("Except There Come A Falling Away" and "Except The Lord Build The House").

This is just one of many provable examples of how Dave Pack makes boastful claims about himself, in order to glorify himself, all the while telling a pack of lies.

From the Way Back Machine:  Can Dave Pack be trusted to tell the truth about himself or anyone else?

Disfellowshipped = Let's Start A New Church Under Me
2/26/12

Why is it that so many "ministers" that run so many of the splinter cults of Armstrongism are all decredentialed ministers?  These guys all claim they follow the authority of this thing they call "christ", which to them means top down government, yet as soon as they have lost their preaching credentials they run out and start a new group.

Almost any other Christian minister that loses their credentials will stop preaching. None ever start new churches or start begging for tithe money to be sent in.  Why is it that ministers of the "world" actually follow authority while these enlightened ones in the Church of God are in constant rebellion?

Just take a look at Dave Pack's disfellowshipment letter where he was stripped of the right to preach.  Yet he continues to pass gas today as if he has something important to say.  I find it interesting that those that claim to adhere to the law and top down government are always rebellious law breaking men.

Mr. David C. Pack
4xx Pxxxxxx Rxx
Wadsworth, OH 44281-2376
May 3, 1999
Dear Dave,
In a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Global Church of God, held today in San Diego, with all members present, your relationship with the Church was further discussed.

As you know, the Council of Elders heard charges against you and your response in your own defense. The Council then read to you a judgment which you acknowledged by saying you would accept it and comply with the Council’s decision.  That if you found that you could not continue to comply, you would contact the Council before taking any further action.

Subsequent to this meeting, you chose to place a lengthy letter on your website on Sabbath, May 1, in which you made numerous false accusations and continued to sow discord among the brethren. Clearly, you did not "hear the Church" as described in Matthew 18: 15-17. As a result, an ecclesiastical decision, guided by God’s Holy Spirit, has been made to disfellowship you from church membership in the Global Church of God.

This means that you are not permitted to attend or speak from the pulpit in the Global Church of God unless or until your membership is reinstated. Consequently, your ministerial credentials from the Church are hereby revoked.  You are not to hold yourself out as a minister or employee of the Church. All property belonging to the Global Church of God which might be in your possession, which would include, without limitation, any membership lists, equipment, computers, etc., should be returned to Global or its agent forthwith.

Your salary will be paid through today, along with accrued vacation time, and the check will be put into the mail today.

The Board wishes to express that we hold no animosity toward you.
Sincerely, in Jesus’ name,

Raymond F. McNair, Chairman
Larry R. Salyer, Director of Church

UCG Reject Larry McElroy: "We had been wandering in a toxic spiritual wilderness full of deadly vipers for five years."
2/22/12

United Church of God reject, Larry McElroy gives another spiel about having his eyes "anointed" so that he could see clearly that God was only working with Davie Pack.  Apostate McElroy abandoned his responsibilities in UCG in 1999 and then went splinter surfing for several years till he visited the worlds largest and most miraculous ministry that God had ever placed on earth.

McElroy writes:

Upon leaving UCG (after four years there), we sought out, bumped into, observed, visited, and in some cases tried to participate in a wide variety of groups in our quest to find where God was working. We could categorize the groups in the following manner:

  • Fellowships—loosely organized groups in which there were continual doctrinal conflicts and friction
  • Prophecy groups—false prophetic nonsense was their main focus
  • “One-issue” groups—such as calendar and sacred names groups
  • Intellectual groups—leaders who didn’t want to serve people, but had a following
  • Internet ministries—800 number call-ins for Sabbath services
  • Groups playing Mr. Armstrong’s tapes—living in the past and doing nothing to give others the Truth today
  • Isolation groups—taught members to leave the big city, strive to make themselves ready by living together, and not worry about warning the world

It's interesting that not one of then would have him.  He was looking for a place that would let him minister and they would not.

He then leaves all the splinter surfing behind and starts holding own home church.  He writes:

In 2004, we were on our own, meeting in our home with our family and several friends. Again, we asked, “Where is the Work of God?” Was the Work destined to just die out? The “churches of God” were contaminated, bickering, tepid, a confused consortium of individuals thinking they were “just fine” (Rev. 3:17)! Each group believing they were the answer! Blindness caused so many to depart from the “old paths” (Jer. 18:15).
Is McElroy too blind to see that he has just described the Restored Church of God? Only I would call it a cesspool.

Then low and behold, a message from God caused McElroy to see and ad for Davie's group.  He sent off for a reprogramming packaged of Davie's books.  Then a month and half later his eyes were anointed and he could see clearly.  Then he set up an appointment to go and visit the headquarters of Davie's group.  From meetings with King Davie and with back slapping Department heads, he went to members homes (hand selected so that no crazy RCG's members could influence McElroy into taking his money elsewhere).  It was one big lovey-dovey love fest.  Smiles and hugs all around.  Even the Care Bears could not get this sentimental.

He concludes his love fest with this:

Back to the beginning: Truth is the rarest and most important commodity on Earth, and it is few that find it. How far will we go to qualify for eternal life? How much effort will we exert to obtain salvation? How much will we give up to serve those who need a powerful message of hope in these desperate times?

Truth cannot be found in Packism, that is a plain and simple fact!  You cannot qualify for salvation.  All the law keeping and government following will never lead anyone to salvation.

Then he concludes with a final sentence that explains what Davie is doing with his posting by these apostate ministers.  He is wanting them to all come to his cult.  The more ministers that come to him, the more people he thinks will be drawn over with them.  More people equals more money.

His entire ad little letter is here:  A Most Important Trip

Dale Schurter Resurfaces Claiming He Is Suffering "Intense Persecution"
2/17/12

Poor little Dale is suffering from persecution!  Are we making your miserable life even more miserable?

One thing I have learned over the years is that when an Armstrongite claims persecution they are generally lying through their teeth.  Armstrongites have NEVER faced persecution like they perceive they are. Real persecution is what is happening to the Copt's in Egypt, Iraq and Syria.  Persecution is the 50 some million Jews, gypsies, gays, JW's, Russians, etc., that were killed because of ethnic cleansing in WWII. Persecution is what happened to the Christians martyrs killed in Rome's coliseum.  Being pussy whipped by a few blogs is NOT persecution.

You despots in leadership positions in the Churches of God that claim persecution, while sitting in your quarter million dollar homes around your dinner table with a spread of food before you as classical music plays on your stereo on Friday nights, have NO idea what persecution is!

You, Dale Schurter, are one sick puppy!

There also continues to be persecution for me, some quite intense. All who have regained spiritual sight will suffer persecution. As we participate in this end-time Work of proclaiming the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God, along with the trials we also experience joy. Both will continue to increase “as we see the day approaching” (Heb. 10:25).
Dale starts out his appalling letter with this:

Thank you for the encouragement we have received from so many of you. What a joy to have returned to the Body of Christ, with God’s Government in place and all its parts zealously doing the Work, headed by Jesus Christ!
It's all about control! Government that makes members lives a living hell is NOTHING to be joyful about! I have news for you bud, Jesus is NOT present in your organization. Never has been and never will be!

Apostate Schurter continues:

My wife and I are so thankful to God for answering our prayers to be led to where He is truly working. We had become severed from the True Vine, but are now reattached. As some of you may know, I have studied and employed biblical agriculture for decades, and understand what happens when a branch is cut from a vine or tree. The environment in which it falls will determine how long it will remain alive and able to be reattached, grafted back into the vine before it completely withers and finally dies—then to be gathered and burned. Brethren, I was withering as a part of Laodicea, as “blindness and nakedness” crept into my life and work. I had taught against taking on a Laodicean attitude and lifestyle for decades. Yet I had drifted into it myself. What a sobering reality!

Yes, denigrate the WCG and UCG which paid you hundreds of thousands of dollars which you took eagerly over the decades.  You stayed on the dole in UCG stealing their money for years when you were researching and teaching things that UCG did not agree with.  As for your "biblical agriculture," your experiments at Big Sandy have left infertile ground that can only support pigs right now.  Some fruitful vine that produced!

You continue:

After we prayed diligently for a solution, God performed a miracle and led us to The Restored Church of God. It was a jolt, to say the least, but so heartwarming to confirm where the Head of the True Church is continuing His Work—and not only continuing, but greatly expanding it. The fruits are truly manifold. I cried with inner joy! We had again found the faith once delivered to the saints, the Government of God, the Church of God headed by Jesus Christ, an apostle in place, and a dedicated ministry, staff and brethren—all on fire—vibrant and very busy doing the Work of God!

News again bud, the "faith once delivered" was NEVER lost.  Millions of Christians have know about it for centuries. I also have news for you, that if HWA ever came back, he would not recognize the filth that RCG preachers.  Even he would be appalled!  Thanks for confirming that your apostate leader has now declared himself an apostle.

Apostate Dale writes about his reeducation process he has been through recently:

Last week I had the privilege to again travel to The Restored Church of God’s World Headquarters in Wadsworth, OH, and engage in an uplifting and motivating three-day work experience. The urgency and work ethic there are inspiring.

I certainly do bet it was an "experience" to be told to abandon the things your have been fraudulently preaching for the last few years as revealed truth.  Apostle Dave  can't have his minions running around dreaming up new ideas and thoughts.  If his brain did not manufacture it, it is not worthwhile.

For those of you not turned off by revolting garbage, you can read the rest of Apostate Dale's pathetic letter here:  What a Joy to Be Back in the Body of Christ!

Excuse me while I go and throw up.....

Hey Dale Schurter!   Where For Art Thou? Is Your Email Being Monitored?
2/16/12

Thanks to MishMash for pointing this out to me today.

Our beloved Dale Schurter has been absent from the scene after he posted his initial letter on the Restored Church of God site for defecting UCG ministers.

He had his own email address, mailing address and phone number listed.  He encouraged people to call him or write with questions.

No longer are you worthless Laodician peons allowed to do that.  Dale's email is now being filtered through the Restored Church of God servers and monitored by them. Brother Dale's new address is:  dschurter@rcg.org

MM writes:

His previous one was a Juno address.  Also his phone number is gone.   Hmmm.   I have a feeling that he taking a lot of heat and they are now cutting off access to him.   For sure they are now monitoring everything that comes into him.  I still have his regular email address its daleschurter@juno.com  I wonder if he has pulled the plug on it or not.    If he is smart, he would keep a private laptop on a separate isp and keep his own email.  But who said anything about smart.   Or, the other scenario is that he is kicking himself right now for such a dumb decision.   Latest article on the ministers site says that Dale is upset because people are thinking that he is saying that they lost the holy spirit.   Mr. Bill wrote that one for him.  Why didn’t he write it himself?   Suspicious is all I can say !

RCG's Gestapo made one tiny mistake though, his old email address is still visible on his initial letter:

William Beher Speaking On Behalf of Conspicuously Absent Dale Schurter
2/16/12

Has William Beher become the "mouthpiece" for Dale Schurter?  Schurter has been conspicuously absent since this blog revealed that he held many beliefs diametrically opposed to God's most important inspired man, Dave Pack. How dare he have an original thought in his head before Dave had one!

Now William speaks out on behalf of the absent one:

Some have written Mr. Schurter quite upset, as they feel as though he believes they do not have God’s Spirit. That impression is simply not true. God’s people do reside in various splinter groups. But, and this is important, they are branches cut off from the vine! It does not mean they do not have God’s Spirit, but rather they are no longer connected to the Body of Christ, and those who do not reconnect at some point are in danger of having the Spirit dwindle down and eventually be entirely gone.

The question that needs to be asked here is, "If you have God's spirit but are cut off, what is the point in having it?"  What good is it going to do you  to be cut off from the tree or the vine? Branches cut off die, especially vine branches.  They die within minutes.  What William is really telling these people that they are dead and have no hope unless they come over to Pack's cult.  I guess William cannot think from both sides of his brain at the same time.

William goes on to quote HWA trying to placate those that got offended by Schurter's baloney:

Next, Mr. Armstrong talks about how a person with God’s Spirit can temporarily exist outside the Body of Christ. This includes a few who are converted—given God’s Spirit at a baptism—outside the true Church. But notice what must eventually happen.

“Can one who does not know of the true organized Body doing God’s Work, and therefore is outside of it, be a member of the true Church which Christ built? The answer is yes—for it is possible for one to have truly repented, believed, and received God’s Spirit—and be following that Spirit as far as he sees and understands—who does not know of the organized Work Christ is using today. But surely God’s Spirit in him would lead one, in due time, into his part in the organized Body the living Christ is directing.”

Once again William is blatantly telling anyone who thinks they have God's spirit that they are damned if they do not join up with Pack.  According to him there is no truth outside Packism.

Obviously then, it is very much possible to have God’s Spirit and be outside the Body of Christ. But that does not mean that wherever such people are found is also where the Body of Christ—the one true Church—is located. God’s people can be scattered in different groups, but they are outside the Body of Christ, and need to reconnect to the Vine at some point.

In other words, get off your lazy asses and join the one and only true church.  Get your eyes anointed today and see the light! Don't think for yourself anymore, let the Packman do it for you.

Larry McElroy: "SUCH GARBAGE WAS DUMPED ON THE MINISTRY!"

2/11/12

The latest Restored Church of God minister that has had a "mind washing" is Larry McElroy.  He has his own version of  his escape from being blinded by subtle demonic doctrines and teachings in WCG and UCG.

What shocked him the most about WCG was that Tkach Sr. made this comment:

“The sign of true Christians is faith in Christ, not keeping the annual festivals. So, like the Sabbath, we keep the festivals to celebrate salvation in Christ”

McElroy writes:

SUCH GARBAGE WAS DUMPED ON THE MINISTRY! Where was the outrage? I pounded my fist on my desk when I read this!
What's really outrageous that a man who claims to be a "christian" is outraged that some one tells him that the sign of a true Christian is that they have faith in Christ.  McElroy would rather be doing something, law keeping, sabbath keeping, not wearing earrings, not having his wife wear make up, etc, rather than just having faith in Christ.  Anyone religious or not knows that the sign of a Christian is that they have faith in Christ.  Yet the idiots in far right-field Armstrongism are too dumb to see that.

Later the behavior of numerous ministers’ children was like a kick in the stomach, with some marrying outside the Church. How could this be (ll Cor. 6:14-18)? The results were inevitable—several went back to the world, keeping Christmas and other pagan holidays, and never returned to the WCG. Next, the dress code went into a nose dive—long hair and earrings for men and revealing outfits and make-up for girls—all done to accommodate the world!

McElroy then like all rats on sinking ships, jumps  to United Church of God, where he is looking to be disgusted again.  Of course they immediately find all kinds of things wrong:

My first meeting with UCG pastors and elders was in 1995. An evangelist, now leader of UCG, came to Phoenix. A meeting was held with the pastors, local church elders and a few deacons—a large group, as Phoenix had three UCG congregations. The evangelist asked for questions. The first came quickly from a pastor: “When do we get a raise?” I couldn’t believe my ears—after all that had happened, this was crude! But it was also very telling—the word “hireling” comes to mind. Where was the love for the brethren? Where was the desire to lead God’s people to safety? Later in the meeting, finances were discussed. After some discussion, I raised my hand and commented, “Mr. Armstrong said we should prepare to lower our standard of living.” That comment was the “lead balloon” of the day!

Later my wife and I attended the 2nd and 3rd conferences of UCG, held in Cincinnati, OH, and Louisville, KY, respectively. Our first conference had to some degree a Feast-like atmosphere, but it featured wrong government, voting, politicking and coveting for power. Several major questions were asked: “How soon before we get insurance? How soon do we have retirement?”

What an outrage!
He goes on:

At the 1996/7 UCG conferences, we witnessed several things that were mind-boggling, but they seemed to faze no one:

  • Those nominated to be on the Council of Elders posted resumes including their titles and accomplishments, and why they would be good for the position.
  • After the 1996 elections, one newly elected council member came by us and said in a loud voice and with raised arms, “hey, we won—let’s go out and celebrate!” I couldn’t believe my ears. I Iooked at my wife; she looked at me—how could anyone treat such a responsibility so superficially, so flamboyantly?
  • Voting to change church doctrine became an option
  • The designation of a “Home Office,” not a “Headquarters.”

Isn't it outrageous that that called their HQ a Home Office instead of a Headquarters?  How STUPID can these COG people get!  So I guess that because Pack calls his church HQ a Headquarters then that's what makes them a true church?  How stupid!

He ends with:

We got it! The adventure of a lifetime began—the journey to find the true Church of God. We were yet to wander in a toxic spiritual wilderness for some time. There were many lessons for us to learn—even unlearn. But eventually we arrived “back home.”

Today, an increasing number are returning to the full Truth they once loved. They see the dramatic difference between The Restored Church of God and the splinter groups. They see the unity of purpose and doctrinal purity found nowhere else. They see God’s hand in His one, undivided unified Church.

"Everything is glorious in Restored Church of God.  We have the worlds largest and fastest growing Church of God.  We have the ONLY end time Apostle as leader, we call our headquarters a HEADQUARTERS instead of the wimpy, effeminate Home Office, we talk about law all the time, we anoint our eyes, WE ARE THE BEST!"

Like all the other moronic letters written on Pack's corny blog for defecting Church of God ministers, there is no mention of Jesus. Jesus is irrelevant to the law.  Not wearing make-up, not voting, not marrying outside the church, and law keeping carry far more weight than Jesus does.

You can read this rather boring and sad letter that truly says nothing worthwhile here:

Where's Dale Schurter?
2/8/12

Since this blog exposed the many different beliefs held by Dale Schurter that were opposite of Dave Pack's, he has been conspicuously absent from the scene.  Is Dale going through reeducation at the campus of the world's largest Church of God?  Is Dale getting his eye's anointed AGAIN so that he can come back on the scene as a proper Packite who toes the party line?

Perhaps Prophet Thiel could join us below.
Oh wait, it's an evil, satanic football game.

Can you help us find Dale?

Another Restored Church of God "minister" Has His "Eyes Anointed" But By What?
2/5/12

This latest Restored Church of God "minister" to admit that he the "anointing" of his eyes is Gene Zhorne.  He writes:

We eventually found The Restored Church of God’s website and the book Anoint Your Eyes on the “Why the Worldwide Church of God Apostasy and Splinter” webpage. One word: wow! We learned how obeying Christ’s command would give us clear vision to see the miserable state into which we had drifted—and allow us to recapture the portions of the Truth we had lost over the years.
As we read more of the book “Anoint Your Eyes,” we came to the sobering reality that we too were “wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked”—just as Christ said all of His people would become in the final era of His Church. This was a terrible shame on us before our Creator. Yet, our spirits were forged during this time of deep personal reflection.

Zhorne goes on to write about the subjects that are important to Packism:

To grasp all that it contained, we had to read the book a second time. One pass was simply not enough. We then went on to read The Government of God – Understanding Office and Duties, The True Church – One Organization, or Many?, Surviving Perilous Times, There Came a Falling Away, among many other books offered in the Splinter Explanation Packet (SEP)

For a group that claims to be Christian take a notice of the important topics that occupy this list. Nowhere do you see these sick little men ever talking about Jesus, the message he brought, the example he set, and the grace he delivered.  You can spend quit a long time on RCG's web site before you ever see them talk about Jesus.  There are hundreds of pages on law and commandments and other useless nonsense, but scant information about Jesus.  Jesus came to lighten the burden and set the captives free.  Pack and his sick cult are all about taking people hostage and imposing hundreds of rules and regulations.

Zhorne then makes in incredible claim that he is too blind to see how this perfectly describes Packism.

The Book of Numbers, Chapter 13 and 14, brings out an interesting parallel in the commandment that God gave to Moses. He was to select a man from each tribe to spy out the land of Canaan—the “Land of Promise.” They were to be “strong and of good courage,” and to bring back the fruit of the land, as well as a good report. Yet after searching the land for 40 days, only two men, Joshua and Caleb, out of the 12 who were sent, gave an accurate and positive report—that there was a land flowing with milk and honey. The rest were afraid of the land’s inhabitants. They lacked faith in God to fight their way into the land of promise. Because a different spirit was present in Joshua and Caleb, only they made it.

Pack and other deviant men in Armstrongism had a chance to search the "promised land" of God's unconditional grace and redemption for the milk and honey it gives to believers.  Instead these deviate men come back with law, government, rules, more law, and every kind of imaginable bondage they can weigh people down with till they are so burdened they give up hope and submit to their deviancy.

When will those that claim to follow Jesus start trusting in Jesus and turn their back on the dishonest, fearful and fear-producing deviancy of Packism and is small cabal of sick ministers?

Zhorne claims that listening to lies of those that speak out against Packism are destroying your chance for the land of promise.  I can state with absolute confidence that following the lies of these deviant men will destroy any spirituality that might be trying to break forth.

Just as God, in Deuteronomy 22:9, tells us not to mingle seed, neither should we mingle truth with error. The end result with seed is a greatly inferior, tainted product, and the same can be said of the beliefs held by human beings. Error, like leaven, eventually spreads throughout its host (Gal. 5:9). But unlike leaven in bread, the end result for one with God’s Spirit is that He eventually loses it, and with it eternal life.
I agree with Zhorne's comment above.  No one that claims to follow Jesus should  be mingling with the errors and filth that is Packism  It is an inferior, tainted product that is destructive to the core.

How sobering.

Yes, it is indeed sobering that 2,000 some people can prostitute their lives to one of Armstrongisms' most degenerate splinter cults.   Even Flurry and Cox, as mind numbingly stupid as they are, pale in comparison to these morons.

Restored Church of God Receives Partial Approval To Build Monument to Dave Pack
1/30/12

Davie Pack has received partial approval to build his monument to himself in the middle of Ohio. The Post has an article describing what Pack wants to build and the city ordinances he has to pass. Perhaps people can write in and let the City Planning Commission know what kind of cult is in their midst.  You have until February 13th to let them know the monstrosity in their midst. Entire article is here: Church planning campus, world headquarters Commission approves plat, tables site plan approval

"I'd recommend that the commission grant the variances to subdivision regulations for the sidewalks on the south side of Ambassador Drive and also allow the right of way width of Ambassador Drive to taper from 80 feet to 60 feet and also to allow the roadway to taper down to 28 feet. And I think at the point that the right of way and street width begins to narrow is best determined with the city engineer ... and then I'd recommend that the commission approve the preliminary plat that would extend Ambassador Drive and split city lot 9679 into two lots subject to the three conditions listed in the staff report," Kaiser said.

Members of the planning commission then unanimously voted to approve the preliminary plat and grant the requested variances.

Moving onto the site plan, Kaiser presented the submitted plans for developing the complex, which will consist of six buildings. As envisioned, the church would like to construct a 34,000 square -foot administration building, an auditorium with seating for up to 450 people, a 7,200 square-foot office building and training facility, a 5,400 square-foot mail processing center and two dormitories, each with accommodations for 20 people.

"It does appear that all of the usages comply with intent of the C5 district, which is really to provide space for office buildings for business, industry and nonprofit organizations and engage primarily in general office uses and professional services. I'd also point out that churches are conditionally permitted in C5 districts," Kaiser said.
Kaiser said that the development does meet zoning code setback requirements. The commission also reviewed the planned parking facilities, as well as future sites that could be used to expand parking facilities if necessary.
Following the initial site plan presentation, Kaiser said that the applicant is working on completing a traffic study analysis, which could possibly show a need for improvements to Akron Road. In addition, the applicant has been asked to submit a photometric plan and a revised architectural plan indicating the height of several of the complex buildings, including the auditorium. Finally, some additional clarifications regarding the site plan were requested by the city engineer, the fire department and the electric department.

"There are some issues that need to be addressed before approval. I'd recommend that the commission table any action on the site plan approval until the next meeting in order to allow the applicant time to address any questions ... we would also have access to the traffic study results at that time," Kaiser said.
Commissioners, after speaking with the project engineer and Scott Clark, a representative from the Restored Church of God, voted to table action on the site plan review until the commission's next meeting, which is scheduled for Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.

One thing we do learn is that that Dave's Mini-Me group has close to 125 people who attend on Saturdays.  Obviously this has to be the largest congregation because it is the cult HQ.  That means all of the rest of  RCG's churches are less than 100.  Most likely less than 50.  It is no wonder that his little cult has no more than 2,200 people in it!  Even Six Pack Flurry has more members than Pack!

Local Saturday worship services, which are held between 2 and 3 p.m. depending on the season, attract about 125 people. Services are not open to the public, Clark said.

More Tales From The Dark-side: William Behrer Eye Anointing!
1/26/12

Here we go again with the eye anointings at Apostle Davie's Restored Church of God.  Our latest "minister"is William Behrer. He had his eye anointing and has now seen the light.

When my wife, Jackie, and I anointed our eyes (Rev. 3:18) we were living in northwest Connecticut. In addition to my five-hour daily commute to NYC via car and train, we traveled two hours to attend a United Church of God (UCG) congregation in Worcester, MA. My wife and I were both baptized into God’s Church (WCG) in the early 1970s and we attended the Worldwide Church of God until February 1994. I was ordained as a deacon in 1985 and as a local church elder in 1987.

Of course, like Schurter and Vidal this story is all about him. William and RCG's PR Department want to make sure you know that only the world's most important men are joining the most important and worlds largest end times ministry. These men have to come with huge qualifications in order to make it into Davie's spotlight.

My name is William Behrer, and I have been serving as the executive director of operations at The Restored Church of God Headquarters in Wadsworth, OH. My previous employment was as the chief operating officer of an international non-profit organization in New York City, dedicated to strengthening ties between the people of the United States and Israel. My first trip to Jerusalem was through my work with the Ambassador International Cultural Foundation (AICF) and the International Cultural Center for Youth in Jerusalem (ICCY), an endeavor dear to Mr. Armstrong. I have been to Israel 40 times, most recently introducing Mr. Pack and others to senior government officials.

Oooooooooh impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

William then gets right into the gist of his letter.  Attacking the United Church of God.  It's all UCG's fault that he had to leave and join the RCG.  It seems that William was really upset that UCG had married a young man from UCG to his Roman Catholic fiancee!  The Great Whore of Babylon was infiltrating the church!  It was time to flee!

What finally got my attention was a young man from our congregation calling me from ABC (UCG’s Bible learning center). He said that he had been advised by a teacher to marry in the church—“if” he could find someone. What?! I participated in this young man’s baptismal counseling and covered this point clearly with him, i.e., that we should not marry outside God’s Church (I Cor. 6:14-18). He was confused by the counsel he had been given by his “teacher” and his statement hit me like cold water in the face. I began to see how “lukewarm” I personally had become regarding the Truth, standards and traditions God restored to the Church through Mr. Armstrong (Rev. 3:16-17). Shortly after this phone call, I saw the error of this “teaching” demonstrated when the local pastor consented to perform a marriage between a UCG member (man) and his Roman Catholic fiancée! Though my wife and I received an invitation to the wedding, we could not tacitly approve such disregard of Scripture by our attendance. When I later asked the pastor why he performed this marriage he said, “Well, they were going to get married anyway.”

William's wife then immediately started looking for another "true church" to attend.  That lead them to Davie Pack and his little 2,200 member cult.  William was at first blinded by the Internet blogs and web sites that were making fun of Davie.  William was a little confused and he wants to make sure you are not confused now by this little blog and the other blogs and web sites that ridicule and expose the lies of Davie Pack and the Restored Church of God.  William writes:

My wife began to look for God’s Church because we knew it had to exist somewhere—somewhere else (Matt. 16:18). To my deep regret, in 1999 and early 2000, I had allowed the stories and avalanche of lies promulgated about Mr. Pack to keep me from seriously considering The Restored Church of God (RCG). I urge you not to make the same mistake. Do not let the several self-appointed Internet “watchdogs” (of varying perspectives) who espouse hatred, venom and disregard for the Truth to keep you from looking into RCG.

Brethren, do not let the stories you have heard or things you have allowed yourself to read on the Internet—about Mr. Pack, Mr. Schurter and others—keep YOU from investigating for YOURSELF as to where God is working today (Ezek. 14:14, 20). Examine fruits (Matt 7:20)—not accounts from others.

William and Davie Pack are not happy that this blog and others are mocking their "anointing eyes" malarkey.  William has this to say:

Anointing your eyes is NOT simply reading a book, and it is not a mantra from Mr. Pack as “watchdogs” accuse. It is an overt biblical command from Jesus Christ (Rev 3:18). It is a process that all those in the seventh era of God’s Church must undertake! Again, so says Christ. I had to come to understand that I was a branch cut off from the Vine, and to repent of thinking that I wasn’t. Though I still had a small dwindling amount of the Holy Spirit, like all in the seventh era of God’s Church, I had become blind to my spiritual condition. I needed to anoint my eyes, as Christ commands all in the Laodicean era to do (Rev. 3:17-20). It was the knock of Jesus Christ—NOT MR. PACK—that my wife and I heard. Open your ears to hear if He is “knocking” at your door.

William, I hate to tell you but there is another ministry that is "Knocking" and it is NOT the RCG.  Though it is a fraud just like RCG.

William goes on to write about the world's most amazing Church of God:

The Restored Church of God does not claim to be the only place where people have God’s Spirit. But RCG is the only place where Christ is working, through the government in which He is Head. Many in the organizations of the seventh era (the Church [ecclesia] of Laodicea, composed of “called out ones”) DO have the Holy Spirit—and that is the reason for the urgency of our message! Christ is standing outside and knocking on the doors of individuals who are sitting in organizations HE DOES NOT LEAD. He is not the Head of your organization, else He is divided, no matter how your leaders spin this. In Laodicea, the people rule, not Christ!

Not once in Williams story or in Schurter's and Vidal's, have they talked about the new amazing life in Christ.  They never talk about the things Jesus did or what he accomplished.  It's all about Davie, the RCG, church government and law and law and law and law and law and law.

William then goes on to list several sins that are in all the other COG's (partucarly UCG).

Some of the egregious sins are:

Rejection of the government of God as Mr. Armstrong taught it—every aspect of it.

Use of makeup is permitted, even though Mr. Armstrong said time and again this is the very thing that permits the devil to get a toehold in the Church.

Members in some groups no longer have the responsibility to keep third tithe (denying them the blessings promised by God – Deut. 14:28-29), and instead are encouraged to depend on social security and other government aid to care for widows, orphans and others in need.

Most physical standards from the past have been thrown out—proper hair length (men and women), proper dress, Sabbath or otherwise (men and women). If your congregation is a little closer to “Ambassador” standards, but others are not, how is that “all speaking the same thing” (I Cor. 1:10)?

Voting is permitted in a host of settings

An “open door policy” now exists

allow birthday celebrations, a wide liberalizing of how the Sabbath is observed, as well as Sabbath attendance,

allow true ministers to retire (being temporarily or permanently forced aside by bad health is different), with the church (really the brethren) giving them a pension to do nothing.

But there are two really important sins that they are committing:

Assistance to worldly relief organizations in times of disaster is encouraged—instead of following the clear command of Christ to care for the brethren (Matt. 25:40).

The injection of the Person of Christ into the gospel.

How dare these people bring Jesus into the picture!  Damn them!  Everyone True Christian knows Jesus is a long haired pussy boy and has nothing of value.  Their standard is Herbert W Armstrong and Davie Pack who carry on the Restored Gospel!  Enough of that wimpy Jesus crap!

In light of that, William closes his missive with the following quote from Jesus, sorry Christ, sorry,  Herbert W Armstrong:

Finally, I leave you with a quote from Mr. Armstrong, from the October 1962 Good News article “Must God’s Ministers Be Ordained by the Hand of Man?”
“The Word of God clearly teaches us that there is but the one Spirit, and the one Body. (I Cor. 12:12-13, 20.)”
“That one body of Christ, carrying on His work, must function as a unit. It must work in harmony and unity, with teamwork, for God is not the author of confusion. There must be no pulling off in different directions by different men in that one Body. There must be no competition, or division. And any who knowingly promotes, or encourages anyone in promoting, such disharmony, competition, and division, becomes the enemy of God, and is serving the devil and not God!
“In order that this oneness—this unity of purpose and action—this harmony and co-operative teamwork, be maintained and preserved in God’s work, God has ordained government in His Church. And He has empowered His Church with divine authority.
“That government in God’s Church is government from God, thru Christ, thru apostles, thru evangelists, thru pastors, thru other elders, in that order!
Did Mr. Armstrong’s statements apply only to his time? Or are they timeless, and applicable today?

Ex-UCG Minister Vidal Has More Tales From The Darkside
1/25/12

"Just look at those demon possessed youth from the other tribes that are having FUN!
Shame on them!"

The craziness in Restored Church of God continues on tonight with another entry by Vidal Wachuku.  Poor whiny Vidal is in a Royal African snit about UCG's Youth Camps. If you thought Vidal and Schurter's letters were weird before, this one is even worse!  Does Davie realize how incredibly STUPID this is making his cult look?  Do these men realize how incredibly STUPID they look?  If I was one of those "supposed ministers ready to tell my story" I would be thinking long and hard about doing it.  Especially after these two imbeciles have prepared the way!  Vidal's Tales From The Darkside 2 contains his latest letter.

Like any good African tribe member, loyalty is to one's tribe above all others. Vidal does not seem to like the fact that UCG's Youth Camps brought youth in from a large number of tribes.  All those different languages, customs, and tribal uniqueness all barging together at one place. Is there any wonder there might be a little competition?

“The UCG youth camp was filled with a competitive spirit, and rules were ignored. The competition was not just between sports teams. There was also unhealthy, parochial competitions between the various tribes represented from different parts of the country. Those from the UCG Regional Office in Lagos were always in the majority and their language was Yoruba, the Owerri branch spoke the Igbo language, the Benin branch spoke Edo, and the youths from NWCG Abuja mostly spoke the Gbagyi language. Campers had been told during orientation to cease from speaking their native languages in favor of English, in order to prevent barriers between people and undue strain. But with the lackadaisical attitude of the campers and even some members of staff, that rule was ignored and everyone did whatever pleased them.

Oh boo hoo!  When I went to WCG's summer camp at Orr Minnesota in 1971 there were kids there from all over the country.  Those from the Southern States tended to congregate together, those from Western States had more in common with each other than they had with the kids New England States.  On I could go with the many differences. You get that many kids together and they will do what they want even if they are told otherwise by some snot nose Senior from Ambassador College.  Kids are kids, regardless of where they are from.

Then God's most perfect Christian, Vidal writes:

“The major strain was caused by the leaders themselves, who were from the Yoruba speaking group. The Yorubas in Nigeria are generally known to love their native language so much that they simply could not go a day without speaking their mother tongue—in defiance of camp instructions.

A little tribal hatred there Vidal?  TRANSLATION: Those poor trash from the other side of the tracks (border) think they are better than us and I don't like it!

Because the Southerners (the Yoruba, Edo and Igbos) kept speaking their language, there was no shortage of gossips, which in turn polluted the camp and robbed the setting of a true Christian atmosphere. Members of the two major Southern tribes, the Igbos and the Yorubas—traditional arch-rivals in Nigeria—were like cat and mouse, resulting in several unruly clashes between them in the camp.

Vidal, I should introduce you to Harold Reiman, a true Church of God racist. You obviously have a lot in common with him.

Vidal then goes on to imply how the dirty, filthy kids from UCG were fornicating all over the place while the sweet and innocent kiddies from his tribe were the pillars of righteousness.

What next sets Vidal into raging fits of anger is some UCG students who made a spoof of the UCG Home Office. Those disgusting kids are making fun of UCG leaders and themselves!  Oh the tragedy!  Ambassador students at all three colleges have done this since the day the colleges were founded.  Why is Vidal on such a stupid harangue?  At least these kids have sense to make fun of themselves.

Watch for yourself this shocking and disgusting piece of filth these apostates have made!

Vidal then showcases two other videos.  One of a UCG Summer Camp and one of Hitlers RCG's Youth Camp.  Three guess on which Summer Camp is the Holy and Righteous one and which one is the demonic evil one.  If you are having difficulty, it is the film with the archival footage of HWA since the RCG Youth Camps seem to be such BORING places and it is important to get HWA's face into ever story.  Plus, comparing an interior shot of a UCG class room with an outside shot is also disingenuous and rather petty (and I am not talking about Gary here). You can see Vidal's other videos here:   Youth Camp in Nigeria

Again, I have to ask.  Why does the Restored Church of God not see how incredibly STUPID they are looking right now?  These two men (Schurter and Machuku) have published their incredibly WEIRD stories and have come across as two of the biggest fools to leave UCG.  I can imagine UCG is quit releived these two guys are gone.  My hat is in UCG's court on this one!

Another UCG Minister Goes Over To The Darkside
1/20/12

Today, another UCG "minister" spills his guts on how he was brainwashed into coming over to the dark side.  This so called "minister" is Vidal Wachuku.

But before we get started, Davie is orgasmicly delighted at this latest revelation.  He writes breathlessly:  [The following letter, in its entirety, is a “must read.” - rcgtruth.com]  Strangely, this is the same thing he said about Schurter.  But Schurter then had to go and embarrass the hell out of him.

Before Vidal starts his story, he and RCG's PR department, want to make sure  that you are not being swayed by the rampant criticism of Schurter's mind washing that has spread around the world over the last week and a half.  Davie Pack and his Restored Church of God cult are circling the wagons in order to save the minds of people who have been turned off by criticism of Davie and Schurter. Schurter has come off looking like a complete fool with the things he has been forced to write about after he was exposed for  many of his aberrant beliefs that went against Davie's revealed knowledge.

Before telling the story of my previous affiliation with the United Church of God (UCG), I first want to urge you, brethren: do not allow slander and false accusations against Mr. David Pack, Mr. Dale Schurter or RCG to keep you from returning to the “faith which was once delivered” (Jude 1:3)!
Vidal/RCG PR Department goes on to write:

Have you ever considered that ignorant and mischievous people falsely accused Jesus Christ of all types of sins? True servants of God have over the millennia similarly been attacked, including Mr. Armstrong!
Since Schurter never once discussed Jesus in his letters and Davie is largely silent about the man, I find it laughable that Vidal equates pointing out the hypocrisy and lies of Pack and Schurter as persecuting Jesus. Plus, Schurter, Pack and you Vidal, are NOT true servants and in no way, shape, or form are anything like martyrs down through history.  Turncoats, backstabbers, and hypocrites, yes, martyrs no.

Vidal goes on to write:

To provide some brief background on myself, I am a Prince of the Royal Wachuku family of Nbawsi in Abia State of Nigeria. My grandfather was the Supreme Head of All Ngwaland, presently constituting 7 of the 17 local government Areas of the State. I come from a large extended family of lawyers, judges, doctors, engineers and other professionals. My legal career commenced under the tutelage of a late Uncle, Dr. Jaja Anucha Wachuku, who was Nigeria’s first Foreign Affairs Minister, the country’s first Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and First Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives. He later served two terms as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Over the years, I have also had the privilege of serving in distinguished capacities in my country.

So?  What's the point in all these personal accolades?  You sound like Davie who is the biggest narcissist in Armstrongism today.  There was a Prince in Ambassador in 1975 from Nigeria also. He too came from a large family with a father that had 20 some wives. So what! As Yoda says, "Not, we are impressed."

Vidal then goes on to throw more accolades around about his wife:

As an Attorney-At-Law (Solicitor & Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria), I was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. My wife, Christine, is a professional colleague who was admitted to the Bar in 1986. She served as a State Prosecuting Counsel for some years before joining me in private legal practice..
Davie must be soooooooooo impressed!  Yoda still is not.

Vidal then tells about how he also started a splinter cult in Nigeria called The Narrow Way Church of God.

In time, with the Church’s doctrines being watered down and eventually thrown out by apostate leaders, some members, including two other faithful ministers and I, later formed the Narrow Way Church of God (NWCG), with our base in Abuja, Nigeria.

Next Vidal  throws around a recurring phrase that Schurter and others have used, "anointing our eyes".  The paragraph he has supposedly written below sounds exactly like what Pack and others have repeated over and over.  Can these guys ever come up with an original thought that does not have Pack's hand all over it?

Even though some followed his advice, the majority decided to individually investigate RCG, and came to the conclusion any discerning inquirer will reach: that in the cacophony of dissenting and disagreeing voices among the “COGs,” RCG, by its fruits, stood out (and still stands out) as the only genuine continuation of the Work led by Mr. Armstrong. For us, the process started with several days and sleepless nights of investigating the over 300 splinters and slivers on the Internet, followed by several weeks of intense study. Despite all the attacks launched against Mr. Pack and RCG, our studies revealed that it alone held to and taught the precision of doctrine as restored by God through Mr. Armstrong. In the circumstance, my wife and I, after anointing our eyes (Rev. 3:18), along with our children, became reconnected to what we once all knew and believed. So did more than two-thirds of the membership of the now defunct NWCG. This was a homecoming that immediately rejuvenated many who were beginning to be discouraged.

Vidal next writes:

I have first-hand knowledge of what Mr. Schurter and others are battling as they return to the Body of Christ. He looks forward to resuming his posts on this site, but as he continues to work intensively with members, I and other ministers will relate our own personal experiences. Recognize that deceivers (II Tim. 3:13), including many “long-time ministers” thought to be “faithful,” will do everything in their power to cloud the real issues and distract us from what really matters—truth, traditions, standards and fruits!

Translation:  I have seen first hand how Schurter got ripped over the coals by THE Mr. Apostle Davie and there is no way in hell I am going to write something here that would lead me into the same reeducation and mind washings sessions that Schurter is going through right now.  Please bear with us during this reeducation process, once he has been  mind washed completely he will return with glorious pre-chosen words from The Dear Leader.

He then goes on to smear United Church of God with rather angry words.  It looks like not all of his  small cult followers went with Vidal to RCG but stayed with UCG.  That was because these foolish members had NOT "anointed" their eyes.  They were too dumb and blind to see that the worlds largest and most important Church of God  on the face of the earth was calling them.

At the time we made contact with RCG, the aforementioned UCG minister immediately flew to Nigeria and came to Abuja to try to persuade us not to go with RCG. He and the former WCG minister (who had so recently passionately disavowed UCG) succeeded in convincing some (15 out of 55) who were not willing to study and anoint their eyes. The attacks on Mr. Pack got so personal that even the UCG Pastor in Nigeria sent text messages to one of my daughters, claiming that Mr. Pack would lead her astray and advised her not to follow us to RCG.

Vidal ends with :

I urge you to take time to find out what RCG is. Determine to dismantle the mythology that others have woven about Mr. Pack—just as my wife and I did, along with many others! There is not space here to tell you all that I discovered and how life has taken on a new meaning since we returned to God’s Church.

Thank God!  It would be hard to read much more of this kind of silliness.  The back stabbing and whoring out of ones self to Davie is appalling.  These letters just get weirder and weirder.  I can't wait to see who the next back stabbing UCG minister that has defected over.  Will his letter be just as dumb?  Will his be written and approved by Davie and RCG's PR Department too?

You can read Vidal's entire letter here.  Another Voice Speaks Out
There is more that was just to dumb to make fun of.

Is Dave Pack Doing His "Utmost To Deceive You?"
1/19/12

Apostle Malm has a letter on his site today from a person that claims to have known Dave Pack before he started Restored Church of God and was then with him as he started RCG. It's in the post where Malm plagiarized my earlier post about Schurter "washing his mind."  Dale Shurter repents: Bob Thiel Justifies: One Accord out

This person has one very telling observation about Pack that many have recognized over the years. Notice particularly the last paragraph

We were one of the first brethren to join Dave Pack in this exciting new venture, we loved his enthusiasm and great oratory but soon and I mean immediately soon, trouble began. As time passed, my only comment I can say to the brethren is the Dave Pack has built the Restored Church of God on spiritual blood and many brethren have been murdered along the way financially. It is a sad organization of brutality, enforcement, immaturity and greed via the many sermons and messages based on ”the get system” which is the opposite of what Mr. Armstrong taught in the 1980’s.

HERE IS WHAT IS REALLY INTERESTING: In the “early years” just months after he started the church he gave a sermon and said, in quote, that if he ever proclaimed he was an apostle or some greater position higher than being a humble minister….he would be deceived”. Further, he said, “that if he was deceived, he would do his utmost due to his dynamic personality to deceive YOU the brethren AND that we should not follow him”.in quote.

What a narcissist! Dynamic personality?

This dude is a case study for the next edition of DSM 5.

Dale Schurter: "I Have Strayed From The Truth," "I Have Washed My Mind"
1/19/12

Never underestimate the power of these blogs.  As much as we are hated by many of the diehard Armstrognites, they are regular readers here and elsewhere.  I guess they love to be titillated, or they silently admit that their news sources are not as good as ours.

On January 14th, I published the comments of a reader here as a blog post, Dale Schurter: The Master of Flip Flopping (Updated)   It has went viral through many COG networks and has landed at the feet of Davie Pack and  Dale Schurter.  You may have noticed the week long absence of posts from Schurter during his reeducation process when Davie got wind of his many heretical beliefs.

Today Schurter and RCG's PR machine had to answer some of those accusations.  His comments are very telling of the cult mentality he has jumped ship into.

He starts off by laying blame at UCG's feet for his actions. He claims he was not following "true church government" and that he sinned by sharing his papers with his congregations on various topics.  Ministers only write papers on subjects that are dear to them. Schurter is being disingenuous by trying to pass the buck.

Those in the United Church of God understand that this group allows, or encourages, local ministers to present “study papers” and include input from local members before sending them on “up the ladder.” I personally have worked on several research, study projects, and would sometimes share the study with the local congregations I pastored. The idea was for brethren to be like the Bereans, who “searched the scriptures daily, whether these things were so,” and to give feed-back and input, etc. It was always my intent to help broaden and deepen our understanding of a doctrine (if doctrine were indeed involved). While well-intentioned, I now realize this was wrong.
Obviously Schurter has had to deal with the wrath of Pack on the various weird beliefs that he had when he jumped ship to RCG.  Schurter has had to "repent" of his grievous and erroneous beliefs that have watered down church doctrines

Without church government as we understood was restored to God’s True Church through Mr. Armstrong, this type of confusion occurred. And, yes, through anointing my eyes with more oil and eye-salve, I found that I had some repenting to do…and I have; and as I continue to see more clearly, I continue to restore the full truth in my life, lifestyle and teachings. This includes repenting of my slow changing and watering down of church doctrine, traditions and practices because I had lost sight of how---through which office---doctrine is placed into God’s Church.

Schurter goes on to say he had to "wash out his mind" in order to fit in to Dave Pack's off the wall  beliefs. Washing ones mind sounds a whole lot better than saying "brainwashing."  It is quit obvious that we are all first hand witnesses to a real brain washing by Davie Pack and what it does to his followers.

While the “modern” approach appeals to the typical twenty-first century, democracy-oriented mind, it is wrong---and the fruits make this plain. Just this practice makes it impossible to follow Paul’s exhortation in I Corinthians 1:10: “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” This is the environment that I realized I had to come out of, after learning many hurtful lessons from inside it. And I have had to wash out of my mind the approach used there---so different from what God established and used through Mr. Armstrong’s tenure as Apostle and Pastor General of the Church of God. Mr. Armstrong’s---and the Bible’s---approach, and this washing is an ongoing process.

Through Dave Pack's miraculous, mind boggling inspiration, Schurter has had to admit he has "strayed" from truth.

Some of what has been reported of my past beliefs is true. Thus, I found I had strayed, although unintentionally, from truths in a number of areas. I realized from scripture that one cannot be “partially” in a Laodicean era condition, we are either Laodicean or we are not.

One of the things we nailed him on was his widely know belief in the "sacred names" malarkey.  Many Armstrongites have gravitated to this legalistic belief system.  Schurter was one of them, no matter how much he wants to gloss it over.  Too many people have heard him talk about it.

For example, I developed an incorrect focus on the Hebrew names of God. I did not intend to be part of any “sacred names” movement (and I never taught that it is “evil” to say “God” or “Jesus Christ”). Our Father’s and Savior’s names are pronounced differently in many different languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, German, Hebrew, etc. However, I often over-emphasized the Hebrew to the point of creating a potential stumbling block. I firmly believe that we should speak God’s names in our native languages…wherever we live around the world. Those who make Hebrew names a point of contention become self-righteous and divisive. This can be seen among some groups that make the “sacred names” their sole identity.

The next thing we had reported on him was his belief in a "young earth."  This did not sit well with Davie and as a result, Schurter has had to repent of that understanding and return to what Pack believes and HWA taught.
I had also moved toward the idea of a “young earth,” based on certain Bible translations. I had a certain line of reasoning driving my thinking. I had forgotten that Mr. Armstrong was settled in his mind on this by explaining the time “gap” between Genesis 1:1 and verse 2, and re-confirmed it in his final book, Mystery of the Ages

Next he calls those who made claims about new moons and other astrological events are lairs. I guess Dale seems to forget that there are countless people that have heard him talk about this.

This said, some of what has been presented regarding my past is either misrepresentation or pure fiction. I did study new moons from the agricultural perspective, as astronomical events related to growing seasons, and the way to mark the beginning of a month, years, etc., using God’s calendar. Most of this stems from when I was asked by Mr. Armstrong to lead the agricultural department at Big Sandy. But I never advocated new moons as holy days for the church to observe, as some have proposed. And, I also continue to believe and teach that the Sabbath begins and ends at sunset, not at any other time. Recent reports to the contrary in order to discredit me (and RCG) are simply invention, or perhaps the intent of what was spoken/heard was communicated poorly, not understood correctly, or both.

Schurter writes:

Many of you may believe that, “in your own way,” you are holding to what you learned from God through Mr. Armstrong. But I have learned how far one can drift from his teachings, traditions, and example and not realize it!

No where in his entire letter did Schurter mention following Jesus.  It is all about following Dave Pack as he follows the teachings of Herbert Armstrong.  You have to look far and in between to find Dave Pack talking much about Jesus too.  It's all law, all the time.  But have no fear, Schurter is just like Hebrew prophets and leaders.  They were sinful men used by God and he (Schurter) is a sinful many being used by God.  Through Dave's almighty instructions he has come to see the error of his ways and has repented.

I am encouraged when I recall that mistakes made by Moses, King David, and others are recorded in Scripture for our learning---and that, because of their repentance, they still will receive great reward in God’s kingdom. It is good to again be in the Government of God. Again, the good fruits of The Work He is accomplishing through the leadership of the Pastor General of the Restored Church of God, Mr. David Pack and his support team, is both encouraging and inspiring. On a more personal note, I have heard Mr. Pack say, just as Mr. Armstrong often said both publicly and privately, “I have made mistakes in the past for which I have repented and also, when proven wrong, I changed and corrected the error.” Good example.

Dave Pack has used this heretical beliefs of Schurter as a tool for reeducation and publicity.  Schurter says he has repented and had his eyes anointed.  Lo and behold, Pack as a booklet on that same topic!

Brethren and friends, if my public admissions, needing to anoint my eyes, repent and change will help others to do the same, this would be a rewarding joy. I do urge you to seek God’s help to anoint your eyes. You will find Mr. Pack’s book, “Anoint Your Eyes – Christ’s Warning to His People,” contains all of the scriptures to recognize where one stands, and how to go about the anointing.
Schurter signs off by letting you know that other ministers who are "chomping at the bit to write about their exodus from pagan, filthy UCG into the glorious light of the Restored Church of God.  Besides, these men will need to write as Schurter continues his reeducation at the feet of Apostle Pack.

Please understand that I am deluged with emails and calls, and that other RCG ministers who were formerly in UCG (and some in other splinters) will be writing posts for the next period of time. It was always the plan to include other voices on this website (as outlined in “About This Website”). These men are “chomping at the bit” to add support to what I have written over the last week and a half.
Not once has Schurter mentioned he was following Jesus.  That alone tells a whole lot about what a fool Schurter has turned into.  Maybe I should not have said that, now we will get to see a flurry of posts from Schurter and other defecting Ministers all talking about how they are following Jesus.

Why anyone in their right mind would continue to follow this man now is beyond belief.  Members of UCG know exactly what this man was like, what he believed and taught.  Even though he was widely liked, they know exactly what he taught no matter how much he denies it.  Now he has done a 180 degree turn and seen the light; in one of Amstrongism's more aberrant cults.  Since he made such a dramatic turn around and has now repented of countless beliefs, what is there to make us want to believe him now? The mind washing and reeducation in Restored Church of God must be mighty powerful.  Especially since it has been revealed that RCG only has 2,100 members.

Dale Schurter: The Master of Flip Flopping (Updated)
1/14/12

A reader commented on the  "The Dale Schurter Propaganda/Resignation Letter":

We had him for a pastor for awhile in UCG. Dale flip flops in his beliefs in unbelievable rapid fashion. In this letter he uses the names God and Jesus Christ. Last I knew in UCG he was using the " Sacred Names"....and admonishing UCG members they should be doing the same (to the point of members getting very upset with him). He had come to believe that using the names God and Jesus Christ was very evil. Now it seems he is using them quite frequently.

Also, the last I knew, Dale believed in keeping the new moons. And had some very different ideas than HWA about what will happen when Christ returns....like the bride will go to heaven (the sea of glass) and live there for awhile...I forget all the details, but it was radically different from what HWA taught.

He also claimed to know (via Ron Wyatt propaganda) to know where the Ark of the Covenant was (in a cave under Golgotha with Christ's blood on it), not to mention, where Noah's ark was, Sodom and Gomorrah (he even brought some sulfur smelling rock to church and in his sermon invited people to come up later to smell it...claiming it was authentic rock from Sodom & Gomorrah). Plus the true crossing of the Red Sea site by the Israelites, plus more. And also, the Sabbath doesn't begin and end at sunset...it begins before sunset (unspecified time) and ends after sunset (again unspecified time).

Oh, I could go on and on....oh yes, he also claimed to believe that members should have input and that he believed in a team effort...not the old top down stuff.

So now fast forward just 6 years or so and now he is claiming to believe in everything that HWA taught. RCG has it all just right and is God's only true church on earth. Yet it was UCG that tolerated Dale's "different" beliefs, and didn't boot him out on his behind.

So my question is: has Dale now changed his beliefs back to what HWA taught (has Dale now gotten "back on track"?) or does he still hold to some of the beliefs he was teaching in UCG (one week instead of sermon we had to watch a Ron Wyatt tape)? If he has reversed a lot of what he was teaching....I guess he will be OK in RCG. If he hasn't...and is "just pretending" to put a good face on to the Packman...then trouble is ahead for Dale because I do not think RCG will tolerate his beliefs for long...after they finish using him as a propaganda tool.

According to Dave, the earth is millions of years old. According to Dale its 6000.      Is the Earth 6,000 Years Old?
So "Mr. Dinosaurs lived with man" is already at odds with his new guru.

Dave Pack:  "Freedom of the Press Is Not God's Way"
1/14/12

In looking through Pack's screed on being persecuted by the unjust he has this little tid-bit about the Internet and the press which now hold him accountable for his lies.

The arrival of the Internet, coupled with a long-time American institution, has forever changed communication and the “rules” within the Church of God. Let me explain.

Together, these changed everything. When disruptions now occur in the Church, everybody has a “story” to tell. The Internet provides them with a vehicle to do this. And dirtmongers are only too eager to help them. When Daniel said, “knowledge shall be increased” in the end time, he could not have remotely understood how the computer would play such a large role in this.

Freedom of the Press

Compounding the problem, America and other countries practice the principle of “freedom of the press.” While this has never been God’s way, it is certainly the American and modern way. The American Bill of Rights ensures that the flow of “information”—good or bad, right or wrong—can never stop. Therefore, Americans (and citizens of nearly every Western nation) consider access to information not just a privilege but a right. They could not imagine life without all of the various written materials that are made available through this freedom—and the Freedom of Information Act has allowed them to access vast additional amounts of once inaccessible material!

The attitude that people are entitled to complete “openness” from all institutions of government has been absorbed into the splinters. An expectation has developed that visiting certain websites, or reading “church culture” newspapers, is how to get the real story. Now, “investigative reporters” take it upon themselves to “just report the news” happening in the splinters. They view themselves as neutral or acting on God’s behalf, while distributing every conceivable kind of garbage, filth, muck, sewage, dirt and trash landing on their desks!

Obviously, these “journalists” are not dirtmongers in their own eyes. They see themselves as merely performing an “information service.” But they function much like the National Enquirer, The Star or other supermarket tabloids, so popular today. The difference is that they do this on behalf of the many splinters, assuring themselves that God is pleased with their efforts. Actually, these “journalists” directly serve the “god of this world,” who loves gossip, talebearing, slander, bad news, discord, division and every other form of human disagreement. While God hates these things, the devil and human nature feast on them. But try to tell them God hates what they are doing.

Additionally, most of these “information services” link their websites and newspapers. One “service” may specialize in muck, while another specializes in dirt. Still another in sewage, while yet another features trash and garbage. But since they all “cross-pollinate,” one need only stumble onto one source to find a veritable treasure trove of every vile thing under the sun—instantly available!

You must come to see that, in a host of ways, these sources have rejected Christ’s most basic teachings, and have departed from even the fringes of marginal true Christianity. (From Should Accusers Be Answered?)

The only people I know on the fringe are the legalistic splinter cults of Armstrongism who promote worthless legalistic mumbo-jumbo that enslaves.  They follow a weak, impotent little god who is powerless.

Dave Pack: Miraculous Healings, Demons Being Cast Out, Thousands of New Members
1/13/12

Packatolla wants all of you COGers out there that are looking for a home after years of wandering around from XCOG to XCOG and never being satisfied.  Pack wants you to know he has the worlds largest, most important and most miraculous COG on the face of the earth. He has written a letter to all of you apostate, demons possessed, slackers out there.  Amazing things are happening in RCG.  Web hits are up dramatically, Web downlands are earth shattering.  Miraculous healing are occurring.  Demons are being cast out.  Income is up 102%.

His church is experiencing, allegedly,  astounding growth with "thousands" being brought into the church.
He refuses to release his numbers though, as well as his finances.  So when he claims thousands, that could literately mean two thousand and two people as members.  "Thousands" plural can mean a lot of things, but in Armstrongism it usually means minuscule and irrelevant.

Dear Dave: Can I call you Dave?  Ok Dave.
The above picture is what thousands (maybe even ten thouosand) symbolizes.
Not the miniscule little "thousands" you claim.
Once a liar, always a liar.

Jesus taught, “You shall know them by their FRUITS” (Matt. 7:16, 20). How often did Mr. Armstrong repeat this? Only one organization passes the test when fruits are the standard. These fruits spring from having the truth, traditions and standards of the past, and God’s guidance and blessings—which are all demonstrably provable! The many fruits in this letter represent the fingerprints of God for those interested and willing to look.
Every year the statistical growth in all categories within God’s Church and Work show an increase, and usually all of them a significant or large increase. But what follows is nothing short of a STATISTICAL TIDAL WAVE unlike anything we have seen before—and we have seen a lot of growth!

Some mind bloggling statistics of the greatest show on earth are:

"...it should be obvious that 20% growth for 12 straight years puts our official attendance in the thousands."

"All ministers (and wives) in the RCG ministry undergo a very extensive, sophisticated training program, via Ambassador Center, The Pastor General’s Report, numerous special Pastoral Care lectures, and an annual Conference for all ministers, among other means. Nothing like our training program is occurring anywhere else. In fact, nothing else is close."

"2011—102.2% above 2010
It is my prayer that God will help everyone in the splinters understand what the statistic you just read—growth in income—should mean to you. It should be literally IMPOSSIBLE to miss God’s fingerprints in just THIS SINGLE NUMBER. "
" The millions of dollars we received in 2010 more than doubled in 2011!!!"

"A World Headquarters campus is scheduled to open in April 2013—and to begin construction in April 2012. " (Obviously this will be in the Guinness Book of World Records for the fasted construction of a college campus and Auditorium in human history.)

Someone had better get out the measuring tape to see who's dick is the biggest. with this boastful pissing contest:
"Perhaps examine the quality, professionalism and “authority” (or lack thereof) of your organization’s telecast, in light of World to Come broadcasts, which can all be found at worldtocome.org and youtube.com/restoredcog. Incidentally, RCG’s YouTube totals for World to Come views is significantly greater than UCG, LCG and PCG combined! And we are just starting."

" Finally, and this is most important, view any of the 125 broadcasts available to compare the messages with those of your organization—and then decide who is continuing the fulfillment of Isaiah 58:1-2 in the same way as did Mr. Armstrong!"

" Regarding the amount of literature we offer, virtually all of our enemies ascribe the writing of these books and booklets to me, at the human level. While these enemies are trying to discredit me, they in fact greatly overcredit me. When they suggest that either I or my late wife (as my constant typist) could have done this on our own, even a fraction of it, they have unwittingly assumed a human being is capable of what no man could do, and over a short period of time, without tremendous miraculous help from Almighty God. Discerning brethren in the splinters will recognize God’s handprint."

"God’s Church continues to experience many dramatic healings, as well as a host of other miracles. Of course this has been most inspiring—and faith-increasing!—for the Church. No one hears in the splinters of outright truly miraculous healings any more. We do time and again. Here are just five brief examples, quickly assembled for my letter, of what is a long list of such healings:" ( Obviously God hates all the other splinter cults because they are dying from all kinds of diseases while we are being healed.)

"Healings are only one of many kinds of miracles we see in God’s Church on a regular basis, miracles that His enemies cannot gainsay. For instance, we see dramatic open doors, special protection from calamities, and demons cast out. In this regard, Jesus instructs those listening in Luke 11:20 that “the finger of God” is responsible and “no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.” Are you listening to what these miracles mean? "

"I fear—I truly FEAR—for those who so freely speak against the work of the Holy Spirit in The Restored Church of God. If only they could have the good sense of carnal Gamaliel in Acts 5:34-39, and stop attacking us “lest haply [they] be found even to fight against God.” " (So we are supposed to fear Pack and his impotent little god? Hardly!)

"All eyes in God’s Church are looking ahead to the absolute explosion of additional growth that this letter heralds for 2012! It will surely be a year like none other for the reconstitution of God’s Work for this final age. It could now be said that we are on the last few pages of the last chapter of God’s Work!"

Dave goes on to prostitute out Dale Schurter some more:

We are pleased to announce that a longtime minister in God’s Church, Mr. Dale Schurter, has resigned from the United Church of God (UCG) and, with his wife, Mona, come with The Restored Church of God (RCG). A resignation letter to UCG brethren and ministers explaining the reasons for Mr. Schurter’s decision has been posted on rcgtruth.com. Over the last five days, a great many people from every corner of the world have contacted us from UCG, but also other organizations, because of Mr. Schurter’s powerful letter and call to action. Our Mailing Department has been extremely busy. To see more and more people waking up to the false doctrine, wrong standards, poor fruits and continually worsening condition of their organizations has been most encouraging. We will have more to report with the passing of time.

Schurter and hundreds of other defecting ministers will soon be exposing the false doctrines and teachings of all the other 600 some splinter cults of Armstrongism.  With the mind boggling, soon to come defections, of hundreds of COG ministers, the RCG will have first hand knowledge of how evil these 600 some splinter groups are.

Has the Church of God ever had such a bold liar as they now have with Davie Pack?

Schurter Says He Offers Hope to COG Slackers
1/12/12

Dale Schurter has written about his amazing and mind boggling defection over to the Restored Church of God.  He claims hundreds have written to him and been restored back to wholeness by his amazing letter.  You would think that this event is the most miraculous thing to happen in the Church of God in decades.

Greetings again, everyone. As I continue to hear from people around the world, many are emailing and calling from several of the break-away groups of the WCG, in addition to folks in general. Comments indicate my letter has already helped many to see that they have slacked off in regular and heartfelt daily prayer and Bible study, among other things, and some have again committed to “get back on track.” As of this evening, my website has reached 960 cities in 40 countries. How encouraging and sobering at the same time.

He then goes on that not all comments have been warm and fuzzy.  Some disagree and he is not happy about the detractors ridiculing him. But takes it on the chin as a martyr for the truth no matter how painful..

And yes, some comments are negative, a few of them even hostile in nature. How we all long for the day “the accuser of the brethren” is no longer able to accuse the faithful daily before the throne of God. However, the vast majority of the comments are positive, including comments of appreciation to receive a “wake-up call,” and gladness to be back in touch again. Please continue to pray for all the brethren and those being called of God….yes, including those who do not yet understand in full, and strike out at others. This can be painful, but should never dissuade us from our commitment to the Father and Jesus Christ to stay the course to which we are called. Remember, “All who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (II Tim. 3:12).

He should realize that his "detractors" see through the malarkey of his miraculous visit to Packman's HQ and how that cult is damaging hundreds of lives.  People are still shocked that he wants to be part of that kind of evil.

Pack's Agenda For Schurter And Other Defecting Ministers
1/10/12

Don't I Look Like The Most Important Person On Earth Today?

Davie Pack is taking full advantage of the Dale Schurter defection from UCG.  Poor Davie has been getting so much negative publicity that he sees Schurter as the new mouthpiece to stem that flow of negativity.  Poor Davie may have jumped his guns on that one because the reaction form a LOT of people is pure shock that Schurter did what he did.  People are amazed that Schurter would join up with such a wacko as Pack. What Schurter and these other soon-to-be defectors are becoming is Pack's lap-poodles.

Davie is on a steamroll to gather in as many new members as he can. He has a multimillion dollar Auditorium and college campus to built within the next three years.  The only way his fledgling cult can do that is with more members and more income.

In his typical arrogant and self righteous mindset he gives the reason behind his new web site that features Schurter and hopefully more UCG ministers who defect.  He wants their voice to counterbalance all the negative publicity he gets.  Plus, he wants you to know that his church, The Restored Church of God, is experiencing mind boggling new growth that is unparallelled in Church of God history.  I guess two new members for a minuscule cult IS mind boggling.  Who knew!

Longtime Ministers Speak Out About The Restored Church of God and David C. Pack

About This Website

This website’s purpose is to highlight the unparalleled growth and fruits of The Restored Church of God (RCG), and to counter many years of falsehoods and misinformation regarding the Church and its leader. It will feature ongoing posts, including eyewitness accounts from a number of ministers who have left Worldwide Church of God (WCG) offshoots for RCG. Readers can look forward to information on the rapid expansion of the Church and Work, as well as its educational institution, Ambassador Center. Additional ministers who come with The Restored Church of God will also contribute. Answers to readers’ questions considered helpful to a broader audience will be posted.

Dave Pack Gloating Today That He Stole a UCG Minister
1/10/12

Dave Pack with his puffed up chest is even bigger today as he gloats about stealing Dale Schurter from United Church of God.

Longtime Minister Comes with RCG: We are pleased to announce that a senior minister in God’s Church, Mr. Dale Schurter, has resigned from the United Church of God (UCG) and, with his wife, Mona, come with The Restored Church of God (RCG). Mr. Schurter was first ordained in 1965 after graduating from Ambassador College in Pasadena. He served for 19 years on the faculty at Ambassador’s Big Sandy campus, and has pastored members in Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania.

All brethren in the splinters, regardless of affiliation, will want to visit the website often, where he and other ministers formerly in splinter groups will make exciting announcements and take you inside RCG, but also counter the years of misinformation, spin and disinformation about RCG and its leaders. He will regularly post many kinds of information, and answers to questions sent by readers.

So what exciting announcement are we all in for from Dale and the rest of the backstabbing ministers who have jumped from one church to the next over the last few decades?  Now that they have joined the largest and most important work that has ever been in existence since creation will they be thrust into new prophetic positions or will they just became Pack's lackeys in his new mini-me cult college he is building?

 The Dale Schurter Propaganda/Resignation Letter
1/10/12

You have to checkout Dale Schurter's complete propaganda/resignation letter on Dave Pack's Restored Church of God site.  This has to be one of the biggest propaganda pieces I have ever seen by the splinter cults of Armstrongism.. It is quit obvious the RCG PR Department went into overdrive on this letter!

It is too big to post here, but here are a few excerpts:

In the early years, Mona and I had the honor to know Mr. and Mrs. Herbert W. Armstrong personally, and over the years spent many hours with them….especially with Mr. Armstrong, on numerous occasions. We learned much directly from him one-on-one about the way of God and His purpose for all of us, in addition to the many ways we all learned from God and Jesus Christ through him --- directly or indirectly. This brings responsibility, hence the length of this letter.

Now in the very last years of this age I am both burdened and moved to share a message of hope, vision and serious concern for our spiritual wellbeing --- and a way out of spiritual confusion in which the churches of God find themselves. God and Christ provide the way out, and it includes “anointing our eyes” with the oil of the Holy Spirit and “anointing our ears” with the Word of God. Everyone can read Revelation 3:17-18 --- “anoint your eyes with eye salve” --- but many fruits and teachings in the churches indicate it is not understood as it applies to each person individually.

My message is straight and to the point, and shared in sincere love for each of you.

Mona and I now know that the Truth which was lost during the buildup and final volcanic eruption of the apostasy in the late 1980s and early 1990s, following the death of Mr. Armstrong, has definitely been found and restored to God’s Church….including the all-important Government of God headed by Jesus Christ.
-----
The work and work atmosphere we witnessed was also seen in a four-day follow-up visit that included a great many hours of interaction with Mr. and Mrs. Pack, department heads and staff. Both visits reflected the same spirit of unity and zeal we saw during the exciting growth years of the Worldwide Church of God when it was fully “on track” under the leadership of Jesus Christ through Mr. Armstrong and his support team. (Translation: While I was still on UCG's payroll I was  conspiring on how I could leave and jump straight into another paid job while bringing UCG members along with me.)

------

Think about this. When the conference of “elders-of-like-mind” convened in Indianapolis in 1995 and established the United Church of God, some among the leaders present openly commented that a government based on casting lots (balloting, voting) was, at best, a poor second choice compared to the Government of God restored by Christ in the Philadelphian Era through Mr. Armstrong. The idea was to keep our eyes open --- to watch for fruits of a work that might emerge in or from one of the “Church of God” organizations. It would reflect the Government of God at work, and have fruits similar to the WCG when it was on track and being so obviously blessed by God. THIS would be the signal for all the groups to reunite as one!

To my knowledge no committee was ever formed --- and assigned --- to be a “watchman” to look for this organization. Mona and I, as a self-appointed committee of two, have been keeping our eyes open, being frustrated with the fruits of division all around.

When we were led to the Restored Church of God, and did due diligence in our research, we confirmed to our satisfaction that the works and fruits of this organization were of God. Christ is the Head of this Church. We saw Christ at work through one He had called and appointed to finish the work --- to fulfill the prophecy of Revelation 10:11, which we should all know, “You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” This prophecy was on Mr. Armstrong’s mind, especially in his latter years.
 --------
The Restored Church of God is truly about our Father’s business. I am thankful to be a part of this very end time work --- and I urge you to take a very serious look. Investigate it as we have. I heartily recommend as a starting point Mr. Pack’s book “Anoint Your Eyes” – Christ’s Warning to His People.

I must caution that you will probably experience a “blizzard” of lies and deception about Mr. Pack. Do not let this deter you. I have prepared myself for some of the same treatment. You all know me, and I have known Mr. Pack for almost 30 years. Think of how Mr. Armstrong was and still is being slandered and attacked. It could not be different with Mr. Pack --- and maybe with me!
(Translation: Brethren!  Mr. Dave Pack is NOT an egotistical liar. Mr. Pack is NOT a narcissistic cult leader! Mr. Pack is NOT lording it over his membership to fund his new college that will employ ME and probably my wife. Those are all demonic attacks by Satan to destroy the ONLY TRUE CHURCH!  But beware, they will also be coming after me for leaving the apostate and corrupt United Church of God which is NOT under God's government.  Brethren, I could go on and on about the magnificence of this end time work of Mr. Pack but will let my letter suffice. I am here today to work with you UCG brethren that are disappointed in your church to come over and join up with us, the ONLY TRUE CHURCH ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH TODAY!)
To our surprise, we also found that over the years several hundred UCG brethren, with many brethren from all the other major splinter groups, have already anointed their eyes and gone to the Restored Church of God to support the only true Work of God. They, as we, have found where all that we had in the past has been restored and is again available….including the same Government and the same gospel of the Kingdom of God.  (Translation: We will be working diligently to bring many more of you UCG members into our TRUE Church!)
Mona and I remain available to serve you and all others, spiritually or physically, just as we have continued to serve others around the world over the years. However, from now on I will be a minister of the Restored Church of God, serving in the New York City area. I will also be serving as a “pastor at large”, freely communicating with anyone in UCG or individuals in other groups who wish to contact me.

I will regularly write on an important website/blog (www.rcgtruth.com) to keep you informed and updated. This will include more of my observations and thoughts. It will also contain exciting updates about God’s work, including reports from other ministers who have joined RCG, but also many other kinds of information. There is much more to say.

Our hearts and home remain open to you as they always have. Do not hesitate to contact us in person, by phone, email, snail-mail or fax.
(Translation: Please join with us in conspiring behind your Church HQ and its leadership to come over an join with us.  You should no longer be part of a lost and impotent splinter group who no longer has the where-with-all to proclaim God's TRUTH TO A LOST AND HURTING WORLD!)

Dale Schurter's Ego Getting As Big As Pack's
1/10/12

In an update today on his magnificent defection from United Church of God to the ONLY TRUE CHURCH, Dale makes several boastful comments. Because he is part of the worlds largest and most important COG ministry on earth, his resignation/propaganda letter is rapidly spreading around the world.  People in 645 cities in 33 countries have read it.  Woo Hoo!  Look at me!  I am here to help you all escape from your dead and dying COG's and to help facilitate a smooth transition to God's Largest Church on earth today!

In beginning to go through, one by one, the many incoming emails, phone calls and voicemails thus far, it is quite encouraging to receive so many….so quickly. My letter has reached people in some 645 cities in 33 countries at this point. Yesterday Mona and I hosted an Open Forum all afternoon and were able to answer a large number of questions, personally….questions (and answers) which may be posted later. I was especially encouraged by one attendee who said, “I’m so glad to hear what you’ve been saying. I’m so in need of more strength and spiritual truth.” Brethren, that strength and truth can be found only in the Holy Bible, The Scriptures, and is taught in its fullness in The Restored Church of God, yes, as taught by Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

My wife and I made an important decision, and are very thankful for the exciting calling and opportunity to now be enabled to assist RCG and its Pastor General, Mr. Pack, in reaching out to people around the world who face that same choice where this is being accomplished. We must come to understand all that it means to be in the very last years of the very last era of the Church. It is soon going to come to an end, and it is time for all of us to wake up to that reality. God’s work needs to be done, and my goal is to help brethren understand the reality of the stark choices every person in the 7th era faces…to wake up now, before the Tribulation strikes….and not wait until it is upon them. I pray all of God’s people will begin to investigate the truth now, before it is too late….and find themselves in a much worse situation.

Packo-Flurro-Weino-Centricism
1/8/12

Flurry, Pack, Weinland - Evil Incarnate

Packo-Flurro-Weino-Centricism

Dennis Diehl - EzineArticles Expert AuthorAs a child, I sat through many a Presbyterian church service.  We went twice every Sunday, morning and evening which also included Sunday School after morning church and our youth group until about 8:30 PM after evening service.  I was on churched kid!

NEVER in all those sermons did I hear our minister utter anything that he remotely thought was speaking of him, our church or his place in it all from the Bible.  He never said such a stupid thing as , "And yes brethren, I am an Apostle."  He never claimed to be a prophet , priest or king of any kind.  He never would have spoke of himself as "that Prophet" or any other for that matter.  He never bragged about how big our church was because it wasn't.  He never pushed to build a college in the parking lot.  I never heard him utter the words, "Send it in" and by that he meant the proceeds from the sale of our home and my dad's Kodak retirement.  He never used the words "incredible", "awesome", "Overarching" or "amazing" all that much.  Actually I never recall hearing those words.  He never ever read anything from the Book of Revelation that I recall which is one reason I got snookered by WCG. I wanted to know what was in it and where it came from.  Presbyterians must have learned long ago that "John" had good drugs and that book should be avoided if you wish to stay sane and have a normal life.
And this minister never ever ever saw himself in the Book of Revelation as one of the Two Witnesses.  We would have starred in disbelief and then laughed our asses off. He would have been out the door by next Sunday with a parade of new guys hoping to get selected by the board as permanent minister in about a year from then.  I'm pretty sure we would not have even known what a Two Witness was but would have seen some serious mental problems with the man.
Not so in the COG splits, splinters and slivers huh?
I did not personally take HWA all that seriously when he or others beat around the bush about his being this or that.  Whether Apostle or Elijah to come, I have to say (along with British Israelism) it was all a rather ho hum topic to me.  You all know how I felt about Gerald Waterhouse's perspectives.  (My kids called him Mr. Watermelon) Pure bunk which I often prayed would not prove to be the least bit true as I could see it tanking the church when it came not to pass. I certainly knew I was not going to tell the church anyone had decided it was time to "flee", whatever that meant.  Sometimes such talk and tales made my stomach hurt.
I never bought into GTA being the Joshua with "filthy rags " either.  Most of us, minister and member had filthy rags to worry about so how could we know if we weren't the Joshua to come?  :)
This ego centric habit that the highly untrained leaders of the Revelation based COG's is disturbing to say the least.  Who sits week after week listening to these guys repeat the same stuff about me, my and I over an over?  Where is their critical thinking?  Are they afraid to listen to that "still small voice" that I know speaks to them during most sermons that notes, "this is stupid,"  "he is nuts,"  "how does he know that,"  or "if I and my family keep following this guy, I can see a train wreck in our future."  Why do they suppress it?  Habit I guess.  I thank the gods that I did not grow up in my youth with this kind of mentality in my minister.
One can't help the church or life one is born into, but one sure as hell can look at it and sense something is very wrong and move on.
So, to be blunt.  Gerald Flurry is NOT "That Prophet."  He simply is not.  He's a God-Haunted man as are the others in competition with each other for the title of the most or best or truest.  Neither Ron Weinland nor his silent wife in the matter are the Two Witnesses of Revelation, and David C Pack is NOT a real Apostle who has restored anything except the misunderstandings of others he worships.
These types don't have the theological training and education to utter such things and if they did, they would not utter them.  While David C may mock Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and Einstein (because he had "wild hair" of all things), he'd have done well to actually read them.
Ron Weinland makes fun of science because he doesn't understand science or it goes against his form of literalism.  Nonetheless and unlike himself, when science makes a mistake they admit it, add the facts found out to the existing body of information on the topic and keep looking.  Ron simply makes a new end game with no admission of being wrong in any way at all.  It's either "God is giving us more time," or "God is not done revealing truth to us...incredible, amazing brethren."
So, what's the point?  For those who attend those groups with those kinds of leaders who have those kinds of visions dancing in their heads about themselves and how they fit into the Bible, please at least think and listen when your stomach tells you what you mind is dismissing.  When you have a choice between how your stomach feels when this or that is said and what your brain and head is telling you, your stomach is always telling the truth.  The mind is fooling you into staying a bit longer than will prove to be to your benefit.
"Prove all things..."  Remember?  "Trust me Brethren" is a formula for personal disaster and disillusionment.
What word don't you understand?
The COGs are excellent Bible readers .  The vast majority of the followers are sincere people or they would not put up with that niggly feeling in their stomachs they get when their leadership makes some other lame ass announcement about how it all is and where he fits into their lives.  They know what is in the Book but that's can be not much different than knowing what is in the story of Hansel and Grettal or The Emperor's New Clothes if you get my drift.

Questions That We the 99% Sheep Wish To Have Answered By Dave the 1% Pack
11/17/11

Questions That We the 99% Sheep Wish To Have Answered By Dave the 1% Pack

Dennis Diehl - EzineArticles Expert AuthorFor decades, COG Sheep sat in service after service hearing announcement after announcement about the great breakthroughs, opportunities and projects that the Armstrongs had in mind without accounting for how they would be paid for and by whom.

Those days are over.

No longer will we just sit quietly and wonder if this is really such a great idea or plan.

No longer will we neither nod yes or no as we sit listening to the grand schemes of one man who simply has to use our contributions to achieve his visions and dreams.

No longer will we pretend to be inspired by God's amazing decisions when we think they might just be the decisions of those who refuse to ask us what to do with our money.

No longer will we believe that once we give our hard earned monies, it is no longer our business what is done with it for or by  God, Christ, Jesus and our small church.

No longer will we be intimidated by your Biblical quotations about keeping our mouths shut and our bank accounts open.

No longer will we act inspired when we are really skeptical

No longer will we allow you to speak doublespeak about time is short while watching buildings meant to last forever being built at our expense.

Pack's New Mini-Me Auditorium

Therefore  Dave...we'll call you Mr. Pack when and if we choose, not you, please give us a reasonable answer to the following...

1.  Knowing that the local Pasadena Community was never all that impressed by the Church and the Church and "the truth" had little effect on them by listening to concerts, why do you think this doesn't work idea will work for out good now?

2.  Please explain how you can pretend to know time is short and yet spend our monies on permanent buildings and only now just start a college that will take years to mean anything to anyone?

3.  Please explain why Herbert Armstrong did, small college in one room, small college in one building,  two dorms, a place to eat, offices and then an auditorium, while you start with a huge Auditorium (for what..just church?), huge office building for a small staff and yourself,  and then a class room for students.   Why are you doing it backwards to your hero HWA?

4.  EXACTLY how much is this going to cost US and over what period of time?

5.  EXACTLY how many baptized members do we actually have in our amazing Church?  It embarrassing to belong to a small church and not be able to answer the questions as to how many of us there really are.

6. Why are so many family members on the Church payroll.  Is this a family venture as seen in both the Armstrongs and Tkaches?   Do you remember the drama and mistake that all seemed to be?

7.  When you die, do we ministers that are alive and remain, have a retirement?

8.  Are we to assume your seriously under trained and untrained family members will lead us all into the kingdom?  Can we decide we'd rather have someone else?

9.  If we stipulate our tithes and offerings are NOT to be used for Time is Short Construction, can we stay in the church?

10. Why do you always tease us with, "....but I can't tell you that now," when what you are up to might be something we'd prefer not to fund or participate in?   Are you like Paul who told us he went to the The Third Heaven and heard stuff no man, but him of course, could hear or see or tell about, so don't ask?   If we think that is a bit of the lame "I know something you don't know," stuff, will you get mad at us/

11. If we snicker when you sermonize about where we are in prophecy and the time left kinda matches the time you might have left, will we have to be the ones that have to bring a watermelon to the picnic?

12. Can we sit in on the meetings you will be having about how this is all going to be paid for with our money?  While we realize "not many wise men now are called," some are,  and may wish to know exactly what you alone are deciding for us and give some input into the wisdom or lack thereof in these plans?

13. Will you shake your jowls at us like HWA did when he got really angry?  Do you have jowls yet?  Can a COG Apostle even be an Apostle without jowls?

14. In time will we have to refer to you as DCP or Mr. DCP as we did to HWA or Mr. HWA?   You just don't have the same ring to your initials.  Sounds more like an illegal drug than an Apostle.  You know like, "Oh man, I'm flyin' high on DCP."

15. Could you consider noting we have "the largest online copied theological website on the Internet?"

16. Once we become a household word throughout all the world of Christianity and all things Pagan, could you put the name "Jesus" in a sermon once in awhile?

17. Would you consider using the New Testament at times in your sermons, studies and to inform us all as to where we are in Bible History?

18. Could you show us some credentials as to where you learned the background, history, language, culture, politic , and origins of the Bible, besides from you know where?

19. Would you get a chuckle out of it all if once in awhile I came up to you and said, "that was the most dumb ass sermon I have ever heard.  I don't think I have heard a sermon quite like that before, and hope to never hear one again"?

20. Could you stop saying "it's not about the numbers," when we all know it exactly is all about the numbers?

21. Have you ever had a personality profile done and would you share it with us?  Would you consider some mental health testing so we can relax a bit at times when you say some of the things you say about yourself in sermons and such?  Could you give just one sermon without the pronoun "I"?   Just askin....

Well, that should be enough for now.  We anxiously await your answers.  What?  What do you mean I'm disfellowshipped!!!   Hey, hey...I was just .....doh!

Dave Pack Releases Plans For New World HQ and Auditorium
11/16/11

I thought I had seen everything that an Armstrongite cult could come up with to imitate Herbert Armstrong and his Pasadena campus, but I guess I haven't until now.  Many had always thought that Pack was not happy that Six Pack Flurry preempted him by building a mini-Ambassador Auditorium in the middle of Oklahoma.  The HWA worship in the Edmond campus is appalling, but even Six Pack Flurry's Edmond abomination pales in comparison to this!

Is this not disgusting  or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!  With all the trinkets from the Ambassador now in Edmond, what is Packman going to have on display?  Herbert's underwear?  His gold rimmed glasses or champagne flutes?

The latest Real Truth has this article in it.

The publisher of The Real Truth magazine, The Restored Church of God (RCG), is pleased to announce plans for its magnificent World Headquarters, to be built in Wadsworth, Ohio, USA.

This state-of-the-art complex will echo the magnificence of the Worldwide Church of God’s Pasadena, California, campus (which produced The Plain Truth, the predecessor of this magazine), and will benefit both the Church and the local community. It will provide a beautiful setting for RCG’s rapidly expanding administrative and publishing operations, as well as serve as a conference site and a location to receive visiting dignitaries.
With significant site preparation already underway, construction of six buildings is to begin in early April 2012.
The campus will include:
• An elegant hall of administration.
• A stunning auditorium in the style of the original Ambassador Auditorium.

Read the rest of the articled here:  Coming Soon: World Headquarters Complex

The following blabber is from his main site. This guy has the biggest ego of any cultists I have seen.  Even God Almighty himself who resides in Edmond and Charlotte pales with this:

“After returning to Headquarters, we all ‘hit the ground running’ with the many projects that are underway regarding an entire new Headquarters complex of many buildings (beginning in the spring), the dramatic expansion of Ambassador Center attendance, the imminent arrival of The World to Come program on nationwide television, and all the other inspiring developments in the Work that members in North America heard about in my Update Message at the Feast…Events are developing so rapidly—and in so many different directions at the same time—that regular updates may need to be presented just so the Church can move together—can stay on the same page—regarding these sudden large expansions of the Work.”
“Try to imagine both the number and staggering size of items that have suddenly come to be on our plate just since late summer. We think of them here as 12 ‘trains’ running on parallel tracks that must all move together. (There are two more ‘trains’—both potentially very big!!—that I cannot yet discuss.) Seven separate project management categories (trains) are tied to building the upcoming campus, now to include even more buildings that are all currently scheduled to be built at the same time. We might ask: Who else would even attempt to ‘bite off’ such a vast project in this way? Of course, the sole answer might be the Church of God, which understands that there is not enough time to do it any other way. Long gone are the days when we could take decades in the way that Mr. Armstrong could.”

“We are working with (1) builders, (2) banks, (3) an architectural firm, (4) an engineering firm and (5) the city of Wadsworth all at the same time. (Just think of the meetings, recognizing that we are now working with a number of banks.) A sixth element is that there is an enormous Public Communications factor within this particular project. First think of the local community, and then the general region of communities around us—which will see such a massive project occurring in economic ‘down times’ (250,000 people pass the worksite every day). Next is the world as a whole that will monitor this extraordinary development carefully announced on our websites. This is also true of tens of thousands of people in the splinters and slivers who will see and hear of it in the same way…Finally, the seventh ‘train’ is/are the incredibly complex financial factor(s) in all of this. (On a side note, I can report that our income in the first 10 months of this year was 45.95 percent above the total income for ALL of 2010.)”

“But realize that there are more ‘trains’ that we must drive at the same time: (8) The expansion of Ambassador Center—although the benefits will be wonderful, this is big and complicated, and in a host of ways. Next, (9) we are planning for nationwide television by May, and not merely on little public access stations that virtually no one watches. (Television is now in the budget, as is the cost of the enormous amount of additional literature that we will be distributing as a result.) When this new medium for the Work is launched, we will be able to reach vast numbers of people on top of those we are already reaching via the Internet. The scope of this new development is ABSOLUTELY HUGE for God’s Work. This much should be obvious. We can project that almost 1 in every 25 people ON EARTH will have access to the VERY FIRST World to Come broadcast when we begin on television. Brethren, again, this is staggering to contemplate.

Dave Pack: God's Greatest Gift To Humanity
9/14/11

There is something not quit right about this guy!  It shows in his face and demeanor.

Poor Dave Pack. he gets no respect!  But one can only respect that which is honorable and there is NOTHING honorable about Dave Pack.  Arrogant, pompous, self-serving, liar, false teacher, false apostle, and wanna-be HWA clone, are just a few of the words one could ascibe to Pack. He considers himself to be the worlds foremost Biblical scholar and his web site contains more Biblical information than any other site in the entire world.

UK Apologetics had this to say about Pack:

According to his own website, after attending Ambassador College, David C. Pack,
"...entered the Worldwide Church of God ministry in 1971 and was personally trained by Herbert W. Armstrong. He has established over 50 congregations, authored more than 20 books, written hundreds of booklets and articles, and appeared on The History Channel. As Editor-in-Chief of The Real Truth magazine and voice of The World to Come program, he has reached millions around the globe with the most powerful truths of the Bible, unknown to almost all."
There is appalling arrogance there. If somebody other than Mr Pack wrote these comments he needs to move quickly to remove the arrogant tone. But if - as one suspects - the comments appear with his approval, one can only gasp at a man who would claim that he alone reaches "millions around the globe" with an authentic Bible message which is "unknown to almost all." To be frank, this is typical of the amazing arrogance of the armstrongists. So, according to the reasoning which the "Restored Church of God" encourages us to accept, forget about Aquinas, forget about Luther, forget about Calvin, forget about John Wesley, CH Spurgeon, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and all the rest - until Herbert Armstrong came along we knew virtually nothing about the Bible and now - how wonderful! - Mr Pack is devoutly and selflessly continuing in his path. Herbert, of course, was full of an arrogance and (entirely misplaced) confidence just like that so it is perhaps no shock to find his disciples inheriting the very same trait.
In the very same, Who is David C. Pack? article on his website, Mr Pack (or, one presumably writing with his authority), modestly points out that in order to attend Ambassador College, he declined an invitation to attend Dartmouth College, as well as an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy, plus numerous other scholarship offers. Hmm. What a very able and clever young man! Continuing in the same line of modesty, the article further tells us that,
"...he has traveled the world, pastored thousands and conducted many public Bible lectures. Mr. Pack has also held a number of leadership positions that have given him a wide range of ministerial and administrative experience."
Yep, while this may all be perfectly accurate, the impression is that this is real 'CV' material of the most embellished kind. Moreover, we are told that Mr Pack's writing is,
"Published on the most extensive biblically based websites in the world, Mr. Pack’s and the Church’s materials address the everyday concerns of the average man and woman..."
Of course, the unpalatable truth (for the armstrongists) is that no "biblically-based website" would allow any material coming from Mr Pack or any armstrongist disciple anywhere near their website unless the purpose should be to critique it, as we are doing right here.

Pam Dewey has this to say on her Field Guide to the Wild World of Religion: Worldwide Church of God Family Tree page:

Although Pack did have some folks follow him out of the GCG, that was a bit surprising for many people.
Here is how the Ambassador Report put it back in 1985 when Pack was still a minister in the WCG:

"For a number of years now, no WCG minister's name has  appeared more often in letters written to the Report complaining of  ministerial abuse.  A group of members was even so brazen as to  circulate an open letter detailing his abuses and calling for his  removal.  According to this group, he "intimidated members, used threats  and mind control, was given to emotion outbursts, disfellowshipped  members for trivial faults, prescribed diets while playing M.D., put  down women," etc., etc.

The letter quoted Pack as saying, "Everyone who has challenged me has  either died, been seriously injured or has been eliminated from the  work...God backs me even if I am wrong."

Someone who had been an insider in the Global Church of God, before Rod Meredith left to form the Living Church of God, confirmed to me that Pack's reputation was identical within that organization at the time, with numerous complaints from people coming in about his tactics all the time.

In spite of all that, Pack did gather a following. Over the years since then there have been numerous defections from his ministry, but he has also gained more supporters, both from other WCG splinter groups and from the public via the Internet.

Like Gerald Flurry before him (whose claims Pack mocks) David Pack claims to have inherited Herbert Armstrong’s mantle. He also claims that his organization follows the teachings of Herbert Armstrong more closely than any other WCG splinter group.
------
As of an astonishing sermon given in February 2005, he declared himself to be the only Apostle of our time, and insisted that he will be personally "training" those two individuals who will end up being the “Two Witnesses of Revelation.” You can see a detailed overview of that sermon on the Exit and Support Network website.

Dave Pack on James Moffatt and Adam Clarke = Ignorant Men
9/13/11

Isn't it wonderful that we have such amazing ministers in the Church of God who have all the secret hidden knowledge of the Bible that the world does not comprehend?  If people were not so stupid they would understand that the Bible is all about clean and unclean meats, keeping Saturday sabbath, Holy days, mold, mixed fabrics, hair length, who real apostles and prophets are, an on and on the list could go.  Our ministers have so much knowledge that men like James Moffatt and Adam Clarke are idiots in comparison.  In fact they ARE idiots because while the produced a Bible and a Concordance, they were too stupid to understand what they interpreted and categorized.

Dave Pack has this to say about James Moffatt and Adam Clarke:

One such individual was James Moffatt. He translated a commendable version of the Bible. Yet the message went completely over his head. He made the truth of God much more clear, but he—along with the whole world—remained blinded to its meaning.

Even in the preface to the revised and final edition of Moffatt’s The Bible, A New Translation, he made the following comments: “This is great literature and great religious literature, this collection of ancient writings which we call the Bible, and any translator has a deep sense of responsibility as he undertakes to transmit it to modern readers.” Here was an individual of great intelligence. Yet without God’s Spirit and guidance, he considered the Bible mere literature.

Adam Clarke, writer of the famous six-volume commentary of the entire Bible, also did not get the message. Some of the Pharisees were individuals of great intellect who studied Scripture for endless hours—yet all in vain. If these and other such men of great intellect failed to get the message, we should never assume that we could study the Bible and, on our own, automatically understand it.

Stupid imbeciles!  If only you had Dave Pack's mind boggling knowledge you would have understood your own Bible and Commentary!  From Pack's "12 Stupid Rules To Ruin A Study of the Bible."

Dave Pack: Owner of the World's Largest Biblical Site??????????????
9/13/2011

Dave Pack, Armstrongisms' most belligerent know-it-all minister has been off pimping himself out to Israel and Jordan.  Imaging the tithe money it took to fly him and his crew off to film and tour Israel and Jordon. Money is of no consequence when one is trying to imitate Herbert Armstrong.

I find it funny that he did not venture out to see the Peace Park that Herbert Armstrong used tithe money to fund back in the 80's.  The Peace park fell into disrepair from vandalism and age, so Lord Six-Pack dumped a lot of tithe money into refurbishing the park.  That really must have galled Packman to be one-upped by Gerald Flurry, a fellow cult leader.

You can read about this amazing journey to Israel and Jordan here:  David C. Pack Received by Officials in the Middle East

One of the funny things on his web site is his link to his new book on prophecy.  He boasts that his web site is one of the largest in the world where it comes to biblical matters.  Liar, lair, pants on fire!

Just a thought...Have you guys
ever tried to look into some of the teaching of HWA to see as the Bereans did that some might be Biblical. Don't get me wrong, I do not
think that Mr. Armstrong can be copied either as an organization or in any other way, but when you put together the truths that he taught, one sees a clear view of as I did and still do of the whole plan of God....very much worth checking out. Also, with all of the vitriol that you guys spew out
on this sight..is it possible that you just might be a little afraid that there could be some truth in the teachings of the Church of God, and that keeping them might just make you have to change your lifestyle to a more God centric less condemning one?
Remember the Holy Days do show in
type the complete redemptive career of Jesus Christ, unlike xmas and easter that center around what we can get when those days are practiced. Holy Days are give centric...worldly days...xams...easter are get centric...what I can get for xmas
etc.
Something to think about...

With Love,

Frank, most people here go back to the 60s and 50s with the WCG, so of course, you're right, we never looked into any of HWA's teachings. We'll get right on that.

Are you kidding?

By the way, wondering if people are afraid that there "could be some truth" to COG teachings isn't a very persuasive argument.

Oh, and there's that phrase again: "God's Church." I'm sure God will be relieved you cleared that up for him.

you people have a lot of time on your hands to be smearing other people who are truly teaching the word of God, but that is not of any surprise, for the Bible also speak of scoffers in the last days. you people are truly disgusting just like you father SATAN!

".... for the Bible also speak of scoffers in the last days." I hope you realized when you typed out those words, that the author of that portion of the bible believed that they were in the last days already way back when he wrote that 1900 some years ago. It has been the last days to some group or another ever since.

(3:3-8) The author of 2 Peter is aware of the failed expectations of early believers. Jesus, who was to come soon, didn't come at all. Many "scoffers" have begun to ask, back then, "Where is the promise of his coming?" He tries to cover for Jesus by claiming that "one day with the Lord is as a thousand years." It's been used ever since.

Pack's wife, Shirley Ochs Pack, died in July 2007, bleeding to death as she sat and did his typing. He gave his "demand sermon" the "Clarion Call" on 11/3/07 (4 months later), demanding his flock cash out their assets, send the $$ to him and not ask what he was going to do with it. Nine months after Shirley's death, approximately 8/08, five months after he preached his "Clarion Call", he married Vernia Peace, supposedly Shirley's caregiver. Shirley was hardly cold in her grave. Vernia must be high maintenance. I wonder if she types? He is greedy and heartless!! Another Anonymous

Pack is obviously a false prophet. I wonder what he will do when some of his upcoming prophecies prove to be complete BS. I just hope all of you RCOG mindless sheep are going to hold him responsible for his lies. Or, will you give him more money and tell him to try again? The Feast of the Tabernacles is set for September, after he claims that several of his competitors will be killed by God in order to ensure that HE is the new head of the REAL church. This is insanity.

Is is just me, but in some of his photos, doesn't Dave Pack look rather like Wally Cox (aka Mr Peepers) of 1950's television??

I am now reading the special announcements posted by RCG during that time and I don't see any reference to a specific date saying that Aug 31 would be the time of the reuinification. How do I know who is telling the truth? Does anyone have the original announcements as they were posted back then?

I have family trapped in Dave Pack's RCG. The family in question live in complete & utter poverty and because they were unable to feed themselves for lack of money to buy food, their children were taken away from them by the state. How exactly is this "God's church" ?
